As usual food was very good everything that we ordered had a great taste. The glasses and utensils where very clean. The overall restaurant was well laid out and very clean. There are wonderful views over the water with a bright environment. The staff was very friendly and helpful waitress did a great job keeping drink topped up. We have had the pleasure of dining at this location twice now and both times we left very satisfied, we will be returning again.

Really enjoyed our stay in Kingston. AquaTerra was great! Lots of room between tables (so not cramped) and food was awesome for the price. Service (Marco) was prompt and with a smile. View of harbour was super and I understand the sunrise with breakfast is unparalleled. Recommend a Kingston long weekend anytime and especially a meal at AquaTerra :)

Always pleased with dinner at AquaTerra. The restaurant was quiet on a Monday night. Our server was slow to get us started. It's a challenging job, but we expect to hear fairly quickly what the specials of the day are.

Great meal as always.
I have an onion allergy and the chef went above and beyond
making sure the dish was onion free and delicious.

Lovely ambiance. Great cocktails. Delicious food. Only downside was that server guaranteed accommodation for dietary issues. Not so much. Have celiac disease, and ordered the duck. No replacement of the couscous. Was just given duck and greens. For $32, you would think they could give you quinoa or rice in place of the couscous. That's not accommodating - it's eliminating.

This is a wonderful place to spend some relaxing time catching up with friends while enjoying the beautiful view ( I always ask for a window table) and eating delicious food. The staff is friendly, polite and helpful. Parking is convenient and free which is unusual for downtown restaurants. I highly recommend Aqua Terra for your Kingston lunch!

My husband and I had AquaTerra cater our wedding in 2017, and it was absolutely fantastic - all of our guests raved about the food! We decided to return for a belated Valentine’s Day dinner, and we were even more blown away by the food, atmosphere, and service! Truly a delight. 5/5, cannot recommend enough! :) Thank you AquaTerra for a fantastic evening.

Another wonderful breakfast at AquaTerra! Whenever we visit our daughter at Queen's this is a must-do. The AquaTerra Benedict is over-the-top delicious, the water view is lovely and the service is wonderfully warm, friendly and excellent - especially Stephanie, Nicole and Amber!

This was the second year in a row where I made a reservation almost 6 weeks in advance and made a request for a window seat ie. a view of the harbour. And for the second year in a row, we were seated at the very back corner with a view of the wall. The service by our server Sabrina and the food were excellent. However, if the back of the restaurant in the overflow section is the best I can expect, even with the long lead time, perhaps I should consider other venues in future.

Completely enjoyed the whole experience! The food was excellent - the halibut and ice cream were the highlights. The wait staff was right on. The perfect blend of attention and timing for a Valentine’s Day dinner. As extensive travelers, it’s nice to have a restaurant of this caliber in our own back yard. We are proud to bring our foreign visitors here no matter how sophisticated their tastes.

There was no coat check offered or obvious place to hang one up. It was winter so having a heavy coat and boots (my wife) made things clumsy. All else was as noted.

We always enjoy our meals at Aquaterra. Today's meal however missed the mark.
The special of the day Halibut arrived overcooked and served over hash that had a musty flavour .
Honestly this was only one bad meal out of years of good ones, so yes we will be back.

Our dinner experience was on New Year’s Eve, with a fixed price menu and 4 choices of entre.
Every course was beautifully presented and extremely tasty. Our server was outstanding. The ambience was quietly sophisticated which we appreciated...we were not looking for New Year’s hoopla.
A wonderful evening!

Food good, Service excellent, seated by the window right away; we wanted a 6 PM reservation: only 530 and 630 were available, so we took 530; there were plenty of empty tables throughout our dinner and even as we left the restaurant, so I don’t understand why 6 PM slot was blocked off... :-/

So very disappointing. Took visiting family to what we expected to be a good brunch, such a shock.
Breakfasts were cold with dried up potatoes. The Eggs Benedict bacon was hard dry and cold as were the eggs and sauce, my daughters fried egg was also cold. We sent back the meals, the server was very apologetic.
Returned breakfasts, my eggs were new and warm but dry bacon not changed, fried egg was fine.

In addition to the temperature, the meals were low rate in taste and quality eg the potatoes with bits of red pepper presented and tasted as if they were last nights menu, the hollandaise sauce was bland.

Atmosphere was that of a hotel restaurant, nothing special that would contribute to the costs and the reputation.

Will not return for any occasion or meal.

Everything about the experience was excellent. Our waiter was knowledgeable and informative as to choices for a "meat lover" and a "pescatearian/vegetarian ". When we checked out one dinner option which was good for a vegetarian, but had bacon as an added feature, we were assured that the dish could be prepared without the bacon, and that many people had requested this in the past. Once we had ordered the wine, the sommellier came over to check that it was okay and what we were expecting (which it was). We had decided to bypass dessert and opted for a specialty coffee and a dessert wine. The waiter had heard that it was my partner's birthday, and brought out an excellent creme brule (on the house), which we shared. Also, they were almost out of the dessert wine that I had ordered, so they brought me one ounce of the original dessert wine and a 2nd glass of dessert wine (by the same vineyard) that was the 2 oz. that they serve. (Again, we were only charged for the 2 oz. glass). Overall, the Aqua Terra experience made the birthday celebration very special. We have come here on a number of occasions and will definitely be returning.
