Arabica Kings Cross
Delicious, unique cocktails with a Lebanese twist. Tasty, good sized portions of food. Reasonably priced wines. Excellent service.
Great food. Bar seating not ideal in a group of 3.
Over priced and a great disappointment after visiting Arabica in Borough Market.. treated my friend and embarrassingly I raved about the food to him but the experience fell flat after the first dish.. fried fish dish was good but every other dish lacked attention and the flavour that encouraged me to try this branch having assumed it would be equal to Borough.. sorry it’s a no to value and a no to returning or recommending this place :(
I've been to Arabica in Borough Market quite often. The food in the new Kings Cross branch is just as delicious (although the menu seems to be smaller) and I really enjoyed it. The only drawback for me was that it is quite noisy. And when the restaurant is busy, as it was when I went recently, why do you need to have loud music playing? It just makes people talk louder and louder.
Great food! We were recommended around 8+ dishes for two!! I would recommend around 5 as we ended up having a lot left over. Prices on the high size and drinks are astonishingly high for the quantity.
Fabulous food with portions more generous than I was expecting. Great menu too
They ran out of falafel and the other vegan option early on Saturday night. Was v disappointing
great place for lunch with interesting food, cosy place and friendly staff. Food is very good particularly the daily fish with sesame seeds!
Great service, the Hummus is the best I have tasted and accompanied with gorgeous fluffy pittas. Totally delicious!
Generally good service, except a couple of dishes took quite long to come out. Most of the dishes we had were excellent, though portions a little small
The food is absolutely amazing - I highly recommend the mushroom and truffle flatbread, and the halloumi/fig combination, but happily it's one of those places where literally every dish on the menu is good so you're pretty safe to order anything you like.
The restaurant also offers a lot of options for vegetarians, pescatarians and coeliacs. The server was so lovely and determined to make sure that my coeliac friend knew what she could safely eat. It's such a relief to find this inclusive, helpful attitude - it makes all the difference.
This branch of Arabica has an open kitchen so if you like watching the chefs prepare the food, ask to be seated at the kitchen bar. Totally fascinating.
Will definitely be back!
Really excellent and imaginitive mezze - delicate, well-balanced flavours and just super-tasty. Very good value, and noise levels were really good - we could chat easily and comfortably, no shouting, which is something I look for and don't always find.
My colleague (from the Middle East) recommended Arabica and, it proved an excellent choice. Tucked behind Kings Cross this was a fabulous find. We picked a number of warm and cold starters and a couple of dishes from the main course. The mushroom & truffle Man’ousheh and Lamb Frito were my favourite. The only downside was that we bid not leave sufficient room for dessert!
Food hit and miss
Starters great, mains not so good
Lamb was dry and burned to a crisp
Beef was chewy and tasteless
Delicious food. Red pepper hummus is a must.
Attentive service with a great ambience. Can’t wait to go back.
Our 4th visit with visitors from Australia and Netherlands who were blown away by the quality of the food and service tonight. Thanks for validating our decision to entertain with you again.
The food is good, ya need ta know that portions a small. We thought 2 each would be fine! We should have listened to the waitress!
solid middle eastern food, nice space. would return
Excellent meal, would definitely recommend.
Very good new location.
Will be good to test the outside space in nice weather
Excellent food, really tasty fresh ingredients and fantastic cocktails. Cant wait to try everything on the menu, the spiced cauliflower was sublime. Service a wee bit hit and miss with empty plates being overlooked. We also asked for 2 digestives that never transpired (but we were not charged for them anyway) definitely be back despite this
Food was not bad, portions were quite small everything was ridiculously expensive.
The food was very good, the Turkish Pizza and the Boregi were great and all the dips were also excellent. I would certainly go back for the good fusion of Turkish/Levantine dishes, nicely cooked. I want to try more of them. Unfortunately it was INCREDIBLY NOISY! the music was running between 80-90 decibels on my handy iphone app. Thus everyone was shouting, so that added to the it being nearly impossible to hold a conversation. As I tend to go to restaurants with friends I want to talk to, this is a problem. The staff were great, and the manager was lovely; we told him about the noise when he came to ask how we had enjoyed our meal, and said he would take it on board. Here's hoping.
We were late but were very accommodating and gave us a great table. Food is fantastic. Only comment, really undercooked a beef dish but apologised and took it off the cost. Will definitely be back.
A bit average. The food was nice but not amazing and I’ve had better Turkish food elsewhere.
Desperately disappointed as I love Arabica in Borough. Our Waitress was dozy, everything from the olives onwards tasted wrong - the olives tasted bitter and our other courses all tasted the same - slathered in sauce. Our Harissa arrived after we’d eaten our chicken - which we’d ordered it to accompany. When we said all this the Waitress remained disengaged. Overall, terribly disappointing.
Amazing food, service and decor. Loved it! Great value.
The food in Arabica was delicious. Fresh, interesting and wonderful. We had 9 small dishes between 3 of us and I can honestly say that I more than enjoyed every single one. I will definitely go back. Next time I would like to try their breakfast.
Food expensive, unremarkable and portions very small. If it carries on in this manner, it’s survival must be questionable
Amazing experience great service and it was relaxed....food was amazing especially the lamb ribs and the dessert...overall the whole place was great.
Good choice for all of us including vegetarians. excellent flavour combinations
Amazing all the way through. The food is heavenly and the seating I requested to be conducive to a bunch of friends catching up was fab. From starters to desserts everything was fresh and full of subtly balanced flavour. We were so happy. Reasonably priced given the quality of food and experience. Will be back!
Excellent food and we were able to order in phases which was really good when sharing. Comfortable booth for a group of 5, towards the back. Good amount of choice for the vegetarians in our group.
The food and the service were very good. Would go back again.
We ordered 3-4 starter plates & 3 mains between two of us as recommended by waiter.
All 7 dishes were delivered to our table in rapid succession within less than 10 minutes! No sense of pacing either from the kitchen or the servers.
Food was mediocre to poor, felafel, lamb balls and beef & marrow were all over-cooked, slightly charred on the outside and very dry on the inside. Fish and pita bread were good, the rest uninspiring to poor.
Decor is big open area, lots of glass and hard surfaces. When full it will be unbearably loud and clatter.
Looks like a chain, feels like a chain and tastes like a chain. No charm nor flair.
Really good service! The food was amazing - especially the mezze.
We were there for a business lunch on Wednesday. Service was on the whole very attentive but there was an initial delay in getting our first round of drinks.
One of the party was a coeliac and our waitress guided us carefully through the menu options.
We throughly enjoyed all of the food and the Ortega wine from Kent was delightful.
The food was amazing, great for lunch although and sharing, although I would suggest 2 dishes per person is enough (especially if going back to the office to avoid food coma!!), we ordered a bit too much and felt a bit guilty about the leftovers.
On a side note, the juices . and soft drinks were exceptionally good.
Warm friendly service, delicious food, dangerously delicious cocktails and great music. Stand out dishes were the dips, the beef Shish and house salad which was incredible. Looking forward to sampling the larger cuts of beef when we return.
Great food and attentive service. It was lunchtime and the place was only half full but the acoustics and music made it a little more difficult to hear our conversation than was comfortable. Costs were £45 per head but we over ordered and took food home.
