Arepa & Co is the home of the Venezuelan food in London. Our food is a mix of authentic Venezuelan recipes and our own creative expression which are inspired by Venezuelan ingredients. We are located under the arches of the overground on Paradise Row, the trendy street of Bethnal Green. Our food is a mix of authentic Venezuelan recipes and the creative expression of our chefs whom are inspired by the rich and colourful Venezuelan flavours. Arepas (stuffed cornbreads) and Cachapas (corn pancakes) are the core of the menu, together with a delicious selection of small plates to share.

Our food is a combination of cornbread, back beans, fried plantains, avocados and coupled with tasty shredded beef, pork loin or delicious roasted vegetables. We offer a selection of small and big plates to both share and indulge in. Brunch is definitely not to be missed and in case you ask, we also have a broad variety of vegan and vegetarian dishes and most of our food is gluten-free.

The food is excellent but service is a bit hit and miss. Often hard to get the waiters attention while they are chatting to each other rather than continually scanning the room.

The food was very tasty just not enough of it. Also why is the music so loud - it’s not a bar ! Turn it down so people can chat !!!

Very nice place - good food & good value.
Unfortunately they did not make any efforts to mark the birthday celebrations which was mentioned when booking here.

Went for brunch on a Saturday and the food was more than ok, however service was poor. Very difficult to attract attention of waiting staff even though service was not that busy. Sat down without being given any menus, when we told the waiter we would like to see the dessert menu he forgot and we had to ask another waitress, who seemed very annoyed and rude. Asking for the bill also was a task. I looked around and noticed there were other tables as well who were struggling to get attention.

Good food, fairly expensive, service is mediocre and the ambience is like you’re in canteen.

Very friendly staff. Aesthetic place. You can find typical venezuelan dishes. The food is really tasty and proper quantity. The price is more than reasonable.

The food is amazing. The server got on our second visit was not on the ball at all. Head was in the clouds. Apart from that, it was a great experience + our 15% voucher made it good value.

You must try the deep fried cheese, it's incredible! Also the 'bowls' are packed full of flavour and great value.

Service falls a little flat, as the tiredness on the front of house staffs' faces is obvious and I feel bad that they look like they've been mistreated or overworked and need a rest. I hope that their situation improves and they'll find it motivating to come to work. All the best/

Second time at Arepa. The food is lovely, the staff give good advice and are pleasant and seem to enjoy working there. I will go again to try other dishes!

Fun lively restaurant great service good cocktails. Food personally I'm not a fan of South American cuisine but it's flavourful enough the corn bread which is a staple is always going to be bland but the sauces are very tasty cheese pastry starters are lovely

As part of my Eat around the world in London experience we found this little Venezuelan restaurant. Delicious dishes and very friendly service, very close to public transport, would definitely recommend it!
