Lovely food, excellent value. COVID compliant will definitely go again!
Amazing food and atmosphere - it was busy but still at least a metre from the nearest next table. And ample walkway space. The staff were lovely but service was a bit slow as I think they were overwhelmed for how many customers there were. Three of them serving two sides of the restaurant wasn’t enough but they were very friendly and I wouldn’t hesitate to return.
Friendly staff. Really tasty food. Generous portions. Great value for money. Would go back again.
Very friendly staff and service. Attentive without being intrusive. Also very accomodating to our requests and requirements. Will definitely be going back again soon with friends.
Good food with great options. Friendly staff and lovely venue. Highly recommended
Food was ok, bread and dips really good!
We had a vegetarian sharing platter that was 16.95 each - not worth the money. Small portions and not great flavour.
Unfortunately, there was a child screaming throughout (literally constant with the family doing nothing to help) whilst this isn’t really the restaurants fault, it would be better to perhaps seat diners strategically when it isn’t busy as there are two rooms to this restaurant.
Another thing I noticed was that the tables were not even one metre apart - which not only meant it felt like I was having dinner with complete strangers, but also against COVID-19 guidelines (also no hand sanitizer and sticky dirty menus)- in stark contrast to Honest Burger and other establishments next door.
Nice place and service, delicious falafels!
Great attentive service, tasty food. Tables outside are great if the weathers on your side. Deserves to be busier!
Lovely meal and cocktails
Mixed feelings. The outside space is great as it's away from traffic. The waiters were friendly, but the waitress came across like having an attitude. We ordered a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, but it came and was a bit on the warm side. I asked for an ice bucket and got a wine cooler - not sure how the bottle was going to get colder by sitting in a metal tube that had room temp in the first place... Also not sure the wine actually was Sauvignon Blanc as the label said "Blanc". The set veg main course was bland. The meze starters were nice (Specially the falafel and the cheese pockets) , but were served without bread. Would I go again? Probably, to check if this time was a glitch.
Started with a baba ganoush which was as it should be deliciously smoky and served with warm flat bread. The mains were huge probably should have shared one and then they made some nice martinis that we had with some baklava. Staff were promt and friendly. The ambience and bathrooms were great.
The cold mezze was lovely. The sharing hot mezze platter was a bit small in portions but the potatoes were really good. The meat was delicious. All in all would recommend. And great service.
I’ve been to this restaurant several times and have always enjoyed eating there. This time during the coronavirus, I felt that the strict measures of preventing the transmission of the virus were not upheld. Cutlery and glasses were left on the table. I wasn’t sure if they had all been sanitised.
One of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at! Calamari, sambousek lamb, and pastilla chicken was outstanding!
Great food at reasonable prices - one of the few left on the high street that do not overcharge!
The food was very tasty and the staff was super friendly
We booked very last minute but the food was amazing. Had to wait a little be be served when we first sat down, so we looked for the waiter ourselves. And they ran out of seafood starters, the main was so huge and delicious starters were not needed anyway. Would definitely go back.
Went late afternoon for hot mezze and a mixed grill with may partner for his birthday. The food was fairly priced, came out hot, and was flavoured beautifully. As with all Lebanese, you should allow some time for service as they don't tend to do things as hastily as your average restaurant. Bit weird that the bill wasn't left with us to look at, it was brought over with the card machine and we paid on the spot. Had to do our own maths to figure out whether we'd paid service or not (we had, and if wed had cash on us we likely would have accidentally ended up tipping twice which I hope isn't a move as malicious as it might seem) - that was the only real fault.
Authentic food and delivered with great service. Went when it was quiet so it was fab.
Service was really good, however my food (chicken tagine) was insipid. Maybe a bad day at the kitchen.
lovely restaurant, went on a quiet night but had excellent service and the food was great - will definitely be back
Execellent food and great value for money. Will definitely be going back
Lovely middle eastern restaurant steps away from Clapham Common. Friendly staff and great food.
Having been before and had a very good experience we were looking forward to going for lunch. Unfortunately the choice we made was not good and I complained explaining why. It was changed without question thankfully
The food was well cooked, excellent and generous sized portions. We especially liked the shwarma, potato and pastry dishes. Everything came out hot and very prompt. Service was very friendly, the gentleman couldn't do enough for us. I definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to going there again.
A nice place with good food. We enjoyed the atmosphere.
Brought my mum here before the cinema. I was going to book another restaurant which turned out to be close on Mondays. So glad it was! Food here was delicious and the staff are really nice and attentive. We’re definitely eating here for our next cinema visit.
Lovely surroundings and nice authentic atmosphere. The food was fabulous and very good value for a London restaurant. My only negative was that we waited about 25 mins before anyone came to take a drink order, but other than that, we will definitely be going back.
Delicious food. Subtle spicing. Tasty veggie options and tender, good quality meat. Generous portions. Nice welcome at the door. Service was efficient and unobtrusive. The older waiter was a little severe but otherwise did a good job. We were a group of five friends and we all said we would happily go again.
Great location with outside seating so could enjoy the nice weather. Was made to feel welcome and the staff were really friendly. Food was amazing and shared a lot of there starters with friends and had plenty of food at such a good price.
Generally - Food was of good quality and of a taste we would expect. The only issue was the Halloumi in Pitta. We questions the 'cheese ' as it looked more like Cheddar then Halloumi. The waiter wasn't too confident in his response and neither did he ask his colleagues to reconfirm. As far the group of us were concerned - it was yellow cheese and not halloumi that was served.
Also, were given the bill within few minutes of table being cleared. No one asked whether we wanted a desert or not. So, rather presumptuous and also, when booked - it wasn't a stated turnaround time either. So not really happy with this being asked to leave in an indirect manner. We were no more noisy then tables around us.
Only ONE toilet - with a blocked hand basin. Which leads us to belive that they loos don't get cleaned that often. In fact there was no publically viewable cleaning rosta for the loo.
Excellent food as always. The restaurant was busy as always, but they work hard to provide good service. Makes for a fun atmosphere.
There is was nothing wrong with the food, the starter portion was just too much & I couldn’t enjoy the main but it tasted better the next day! Trying to catch someone’s else was hard & not knowing who was staff or customers was hard. Not keen on the toilets but that’s not such big issue.
Lovely food, service was a little slow. We waited quite a long time between courses but the main courses were delicious. Nice atmosphere too.
It was an okay experience- nothing special tbh and the service was fairly slow. The waiters were sort of friendly but didn’t make a huge effort. The food was nice - tasty but not the best presentation. The ambiance was average- we wouldn’t go back in a hurry put it that way.
Good potion size.. good price. Nice place to eat in clapham.
Very good atmosphere and excellent food
First of all, our server was great and fun to interact with. She was great at making suggestions and was very attentive throughout the meal. We all had different dishes and each one was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend the mixed grill. Good Moroccan wine and beer as well. This is a gem tucked away - enjoy!
Great selection of meze, served in lovely surroundings.
Great food, service and price. Would recommend you give it a go.
