Armani Amal / Armani Hotel Dubai Ratings and Reviews
Absolutely stunning view. Enjoy the terrace view. Delicious food. The tapas were excellent. Fine collection of wines. Very very warm and friendly staff. Special mention of Abhishek and Prabhu for making our anniversary very special. Overall an outstanding experience. Will definitely come again and recommend friends too.
Fantastic food and service! Best Indian cuisine we have ever had! Special thanks to our waiters Mr Amil g and Mr Bradley Healy for their excellent recommendations on food and drinks these guy knew their business and made the experience! Great surrounding and brilliant views of the Dubai fountains, we WILL be back!
It was unforgettable! Took a tasting set, everything is very tasty with a beautiful serve. Lamb on bones and chicken with rice in the pot in general a bomb !!! Also thanks to Taras from the Italian restaurant for help in choosing dishes and help in communicating with the staff !!! We recommend everyone !!!
Celebrated our engagement, with a lovely terrace view overlooking the Dubai fountain. Staff were extremely helpful and service was amazing. For the location, setting and food quality I expected cost to be higher but if you are celebrating a special occasion definitely come here. 11 out of 10 from me
We recently traveled from Chicago to Dubai for a 4 day vacation. I was looking for a restaurant that was close to the Burj Kalifa and had views of the fountains, and decided on Amal. The menu looked delicious (we're vegetarian) and the reviews were great so we went for it. From the moment I walked into the live performers in the lobby and was greeted with a complimentary welcome beverage, I knew I'd made the right call.
We had requested Terrace seating (300 AED min), but it wasn't available due to a private party. To make up for it, they seated us in an inside seat with a view and told us we were welcome on the terrace anytime to watch the fountains, which worked out perfectly (also nice because we no longer had to hit the minimum). They do play the music on the terrace in sync with the fountains, and I loved watching from the Terrace.
The service was impeccable! We felt like we had an entire serving team who were constantly refilling our plates, explaining menu items, filling our drinks, and making recommendations. Everyone was so incredibly nice, and our waiter even brought us back to the kitchen to make the chef and see how and where everything was prepared.
Speaking of the food - I was seriously impressed. We did not do the pre-fixe menus (because we're vegetarian) and ordered off the ale carte menu. We got the samosas which came with this amazing sauce. And then I ordered this asparagus/broccoli/coconut dish and asked for it spicy, and I couldn’t even tell what make it spicy, but whatever it was, it was delicious. We then asked about a recommendation for dessert, and I forget the name of it, but it was this delightful cardamom frozen ice cream-ish dish that came served over sweet noodles and was mind blowing.
We will absolutely go back here when we return to Dubai!
I have had lots of Northern Indian food as my husbands best friend and travel buddy is Indian, he was with us on this trip, and we all agreed Amal was the best we have ever had by far! Lamb chops, Barbequed Prawns and Kebabs were out of this world! Every bite of our three course Saffron menu was so delicious and beautifully presented. We chose to sit on the terrace with spectacular views of the Dubai fountains, don't miss this! Pricy, but oh so worth it!
This was a one off during a trip to Dubai. The restaurant was really excellent but the only thing for me is it was a little expensive for what it was. That being said the service and food quality is outstanding and maybe I would consider again on a business occasion but actually there are much better value for money restaurants available. But if you want that one off experience and money is no object then go for it you will not be disappointed.
One thing I might suggest is that on the tasting menu the dessert is listed as optional with a cost because once you have had the starter and main we had no room left for dessert but were still charged for it. I understand the policy but also one way to keep cost down a little more and provide better value for money.
