What a wonderful way to enjoy a final night in Santorini!
Collected by boat and whisked away to a fabulous restaurant.
The staff were excellent and met us as we arrived.
The fish was fresh and flavoursome, as was the entire meal.
Perfect.

Boat taxi pick up went well, staff very friendly , cool atmosphere , right on the beach. No sunset views , maybe better for lunch . unfortunately the quality of the food was not very good. Shrimp were mushy, over cooked and tasteless. The staff was super friendly and apologetic. They took the shrimp dish off the bill.

Very lovely restaurant. Some dishes are a bit pricy. I suggest you to order lobster and grilled fish which are best of value! The whole experience is really nice.

Awesome dinner at this small water-front restaurant. We took a small (comfortable) boat from Amoudi Bay, it took maybe 5 minutes and was beautiful. We picked out our filet from their selection and they grilled it up perfectly for us. The spicy feta was delicious as well! Overall a great experience and we wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Husband and I absolutely loved our experience here. From the boat transfer to a wonderful lunch with attentive servers to laying out on the beach chairs to being transferred back to Amoudi Bay by boat. Wonderful time here!

AFT is a quant spot around the bend from Amoudi Bay. A boat from the restaurant will even pick you up free of charge. Once there the food and service are lovely and priced well. They have blankets for those cooler nights. You won't see a famous sunset from the restaurant, but the reverse sunset on the caldera is a pretty view as well.

It was a fantastic dinner at Armeni Restaurant. I had the best seafood spaghetti with tomato sauce in my life! Very friendly and funny atmosphere with the stuff. It is worthy to go downstairs. Especially at night it is adventure. You go from overcrowded Oia to this fairytale restaurant at waterfront. Different worlds.

The place is accessable mostly from the sea. The walk downstairs and upstairs from Ioa is recommended only during daylight as it is completely dark during the night. The tuna was too salty, the other fish was delicious.

What a lovely restaurant tucked away in a little cove. The food was amazing and the staff extremely friendly.( I recommend the fried mussles and the catch of the day.)Yes, the walk is steep but there is boat service to the restaurant and if you ask they will even arrange a taxi to pick you up from the boat to your hotel.

One of a kind experience. Our meal could not have been better. The owner is honest and gives you the best recommendations. We picked out our fish, they cooked then and filleted it in front of us. Delicious grilled octopus, Naxo saganaki and fig and pistachio salad. The Red Snapper was very fresh and delicious. They gave us a delicious Nutella dessert. There are two ways to get there, by boat (which will be provided if you call or email, they will pick you up at Amoudi Bay, or the long path of stairs down). We chose the path down and up. It was one of a kind all around!.

We found this hidden gem accidentally. We called to find out how to get there, and we were told we can either take a boat or a donkey! We opted for the boat ride, as it is complementary! When we arrived to the restaurant we were treated with open arms! The restaurant was quiet ( a nice change from the other restaurants on the island) it defiantly made us feel like we found a local secret. We sat right on the water and had such a great dinner. All of the fish is fresh, just caught that day. We even had a surprise birthday song and cake for my birthday! I recommend going here if you are looking for a spot off of the beaten path, away from crowds and tourists, and delicious fresh fish!

Simply AMAZING! Went there for lunch for my mamas birthday and it was a breathe of fresh air compared to the madness of the tourism in the city. We spent the whole day there relaxing, swimming in the ocean, laying out and when we were ready sat down for a nice feast! Everyone was was so sweet and helpful and really wanted us to enjoy and have a good time. This is definitely a must every time we go to Santorini. They had so many other little social additions that make them unique I don’t want to ruin so just go and be prepared to have an amazing special time.

It is worth the walk, as some might say- journey. If hiking up and down the hillside is not in your cards- they arrange a water taxi.

The food was great, Nikolas is a lot of fun and the location is superb.

This is an incredibly unique place-tucked into th rocks of santorini below the hustle and bustle of oía. Delicious food and friendly service like you are at an old friend’a house. You pick your fish and they cook it right in front of you. But be warned-unless you are extremely hardy ASK TO HAVE THE BOAT OUCK YOU UP! We made the mistake of walking the over 200 steps and it is a lot further than it looks! But it was worth the triple trouble.

Upon arriving at Amoundi Bay we were picked up by a complimentary boat to take us to Armeni port. The owner greeted us and escorted us off the boat to our seaside table. The location is small but so adorable. The staff was so incredibly pleasant and entertaining- we laughed our entire lunch.

The food is excellent & so fresh! They bring over the fresh catches of the day for you to choose from!

We shared the octopus, which was probably the best we’ve had yet, and a delicious fig, pistachio, and strawberry salad. We were able to pace ourselves and were not rushed at all. I enjoyed a seafood salad and my husband had a fresh tuna dish. We were pleasantly surprised at how big the portions were (almost couldn’t finish). We didn’t have room for dessert but the owner insisted and brought yogurt and a chocolate tart cake on the house. They were both delicious! After enjoying an espresso and the views, they arranged a car service to pick us up from the port at Amoundi Bay after we took another complimentary boat ride back.

Highly recommend! It was a perfect afternoon

From our ride over in the boat to our shore-side dining, we enjoyed every second of this dining experience. My travel agent had made the recommendation for us to visit during our time in Santorini. We knew we wanted seafood, and this was a perfect choice. We were presented with the day's catch. Each fish was displayed table-side with a scale. We selected the "Red Snapper" - it was seasoned and grilled to perfection. It was deboned and served tableside.

Highly recommend visiting this restaurant, an experience we'll always remember.

A gem of a restaurant! Excellent service with very friendly Greek hospitality! The owner is super nice!! The food was amazing and the views are absolutely beautiful! You’re away from the busy crowds which is a big plus. Also, you can swim in the bay, have inflatables to use and also get the use of lounge chairs for as long as you want. It was a very long walk down to trek to the Armeni port so not for the faint of heart. It is absolutely worth it however!! We found out later that they have a complimentary boat service that can take you back to the other side of Oia. You can rent a donkey for 6 euros to get back up as well. Overall, this restaurant is a must do while in Santorini and unlike other establishments, it’s not as expensive. We loved it! One more tip: make sure to make a reservation via OpenTable if you want a table right by the water. If not you will have to sit further back as the tables by the water are by reservation only. Another tip is that you can take the complimentary boat ride there from Amoudi Bay.

We dined at Armeni on the suggestion of our hotel (Canaves Oia).
To give a bit of context to the review, my husband and I had just dined at a 3 Michelin star restaurant in Paris and New York.
Armeni was on par with both of those experiences. The location and ambiance is completely unreal. Right on the water is a remote village of Armeni that is accessible by boat or by 300 steps. That gives it a totally unique and authentic feel. the restaurant is unassuming, cute and quaint. The owner Nikolas greeted us and walked us through the entire meal.
The food itself was simple but the flavors extraordinary. We has a fresh salad and it was one of the best things I have ever tasted. Then we had one of the catches of the day - the flavor and presentation was beautiful. The best fish I have ever had.
Then Nikolas presented us with 3 desserts to try. AMAZING!
In summary there are many restaurants on the main strip in Oia but this restaurant in my opinion is the best of the best. It was top three meals of my life and i would go back to oia to just dine there again!

Charming location and owner and delicious meal. Great way to get away from the hectic crowds clamoring to see the sunset. You have to be able to walk down a pretty rough/uneven foot path to get there or can drive to Amoudi bay and get transported by boat. If you call ahead they can arrange transport by boat from Amoudi bay to the restaurant free of charge which adds to the charm and gives you another perspective of Santorini. Cannot see the sun set from the restaurant but could book reservations just after sunset so you catch it from Amoudi bay or as you are transported to the restaurant.

Owner greeted us at the boat was funny and entertaining and attentive without being intrusive during our meal. I also appreciated that he did not allow smoking in his restaurant.

We ordered pita, salad and 2 entrees and a carafe of wine and had plenty of food totalling 90€ which was a fantastic value for the meal and experience.

Definitely a highlight of our time in Santorini.
