Arnie Morton's The Steakhouse - Burbank
Great food service and they go over and above to make our special day "Special"
Great Food ..Great Service ..We love Morton’s ❤️❤️
Always a great dinner at this Morton’s. The service was excellent!!
Our server, Kimberly, was attentive and knowledgeable about the new items in the menu. We had a wonderful meal. Everything was delicious.
Far more enjoyable than the Mortons in Canoga Park
I have no complaints about this restaurant...we were there on a Wed night around 7:30. I understand that Wednesday is a slower night...but our waitress, who was very nice, was stretched very thin - we barely saw her...as when she brought the dessert menu...my friend finished his coffee before anyone came around to ask if we wanted anything...it was kind of like that all night... I left a 20% tip, but grudgingly, which to me, ruins the evening.
Starting off, they never acknowledge the request for either a quiet tucked away table nor a question of arranging for flowers. We were started next to large groups. The server was slow to arrive and seemed to be focused on up-selling. The bar was ridiculously slow to make drinks and there really was nobody at the bar. Not sure if an issue with bartender or server just not ordering / picking up efficiently. We asked for a second drink and it showed up 25 min later. We were already done and sent it back. Server said his fault but never apologized or comped anything. Very poor service which ruined the evening. Food was good but a bit overpriced.
I’ve been here numerous times and have always enjoyed the experience. I took my daughter for her 17th birthday and our server was horrendous. He got my food order wrong, disappeared for 20 minutes and brought the wrong dessert, after confirming our dessert order three times.
I get that people have off/bad days, but it really put a damper on my daughter’s birthday.
When spending $400+ on a meal, I expect impeccable service.
Not much to say here - certainly among the best steakhouses I have ever visited. Painstaking attention to every detail. I make a pretty good steak at home, but Morton’s is on another tier of excellence. A must go for us when in LA.
Starve yourself before you go and indulge. You will leave full and happy.
Pricey. Dessert souffles were the worst. Top was like rubber.
Great food as usual. Reason we continue to patron this particular location.
One of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Always consistently delicious 😋
Something happened to Morton’s.
I don’t know what it is, I don’t know if it was an ownership change I don’t know What exactly happened all that I can say is that it’s not the same the quality of the food is gone down.
I started going to Morton's back in the late 2000s and it was always a wonderful experience. Now it feels like a super over priced version of a casual dining restaurant. Last year I was there for a work event. They gave me a strip steak instead of a ribeye and when I asked about it I was told that I didn't understand cut of meat... Not all Ribeyes have "eyes." I didn't ever get around to going for my free meal because the manager was so nasty and condensing when he called to apologize. Yesterday's meal was two different Ribeyes. The first one came looking deformed and was over cooked; the second one came so rare that the waiter wanted to take it back and put it on the grill. I declined the offer and took it home with me. My boss and co-workers like the place, so I'm sure I'll have to go back but I'm equally as sure that I will again be disappointed.
Not our best experience.
Love Morton’s....the Food and Service is awesome ❤️❤️
Great food and generally good drinks. Terrific wine list. Good for steaks and sea food. Nice ambiance for special occasions.
Went here for my sister’s birthday and it was great! Delicious food, yummy sides and great drinks. The creamed corn is absolutely amazing! Will for sure be back soon!
I've written this same review before, or, at least, I've had the same experience at Morton's, pretty much every time I've eaten there. Top notch service and great food. I suppose I wish it were cheaper, but it is no more expensive than any other restaurant of it's type. I always try to get the surf and turf special, which they always seem to have. For 64 bucks, a 6 oz filet and a (small) lobster tail... plus salad, side and dessert. A couple of cocktails and a glass of wine for my wife boosts the overall damage but that would be the case anywhere. Morton's isn't a trendy bistro but what it is, it does well. It's turned out to be our most frequented restaurant.
Morton's in Burbank has been a constant for me. I go mainly with clients and it is a wow experience. Most people go for the steaks but honestly I recommend the crab cakes and lobster bisque. Both are outstanding.
Delicious steak, very tasty Brussel sprouts, crispy matchstick fries, left us with no room for one of the desserts. Very good service, and though it is not "cheap" it is a good value. Memorable.
Service was very slow. Waiter was not attentive. Didn’t refill iced tea all night, until we asked 3 times. Never asked if I wanted another glass of wine. Steaks were perfect, but the chocolate soufflé was eggy and not like any soufflé we had ever eaten before.
Went for DineLA and was quite disappointed. Beefsteak tomato was just an ordinary tasteless sliced tomato. Bleu cheese dressing was fine. Other salads and onion soup were tasty. The four of us ordered two steak entrees and two salmon entrees. The steak was cooked properly but was thin, gristly, and overly garliced. Not much taste. Both ladies commented that the salmon was “ok”. Mashed potatoes needed salt. Your signature bread loaf was difficult to slice because it had no body. Perhaps a pull apart version would be better.
Desserts were the best part of the meal.
P.S. Resent having to pay for park!
Halpern party of 4
great collection of quality salads, entrees, drinks, and attentive service. Pricey but within the realm of the great traditional steakhouses. For non-meat eaters, the seafood options were really fresh and tasty.
Long wait for food
Not great customer service
We attended for Dine LA Week and where very surprised by the menu and it’s value. The key lime pie was to die for. We where so surprised by the service, ambiance and food that we became members. We paid $25 but that credit was issued back to us in our next visit. All in all we absolutely love it!
Great experience as always. Our guests enjoyed their meals and the ambiance. Our service wasn't quite up to par this time as our waitress seemed to be having some issues with our table. Not sure what was going on that day, but she seemed quite distracted. Other than that, everything was wonderful and we are looking forward to the next visit.
Server was very attentive to our food and drink. Food was great. Value was good because of DIne LA deal.
Un clásico de steaks con un ambiente sobrio, la comida excelente
I take customers here twice a year and every time I have been here the food is amazing and the service is also. I will definitely be back.
We went for Dine LA and the food was great and meals same size as alway, usually for this week portions are smaller. Always a great place to dine.
Very average, service was slow and off at times. Likely won’t be going back.
Worst experience we have had at a Morton’s anywhere and we have gone many times. The steak had a rancid , foul order that should have been noticed in the kitchen. The steak was tough and tasted old. First time I ever sent a steak back. We were not comped for this in any way.
Every year, We try to visit a Morton’s Steakhouse for our Wedding Anniversary as service and food is always top notch. This was our first time at the Burbank location and our server was phenomenal! He went above and beyond to make us happy. Thank you for a wonderful night!
Tonight we had some issues with food quality however Management took care of the problem right away and we got credited for the issue. Great service. Now we have leftovers galore. Thanks Arnie Morton's Burbank!
The manager was great!!
Good food and excellent service! Excellent experience!
I was expecting more for a high end restaurant. Steak was just ok and it was too cooked. I would rather go to BOA or Mastro's!!!
