The Paella was very very dry and had no taste at all. Very disappointed. Also very overpriced for what you eat. We paid £50 per person without alcohol.
Wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for a delicious meal. The ambiance and drinks are lovely, but the food is average.
Also if you are worried about Covid, this is not the best choice for you. Although technically the restaurant put 1 meter between tables, that is definitely not the case with the chairs. In fact, my back was touching a guest at another table. So no social distancing what so ever. However, the service was great and when I told them my concern, they moved me to a different table.
Excellent! Great food and amazing venue, really recommended
We really enjoyed our anniversary dinner at Arrós. Beautiful restaurant with 5 star service. We started with recommended signature cocktails absolutely delicious, then we moved to our table where we had 3 incredible starters and a rice for 2, presa ibérica absolutely fantastic
Great Paella! Beautiful house wines, especially Cava!
Nice food very overpriced for paella. Great atmosphere though. Lovely interiors. They forgot it was a birthday celebration. Staff are really knowledgeable and friendly.
Great evening, staff were amazing and food tasted great. A little to pricey...£15 for 4 pieces of asparagus and a few bits of cheese not sure we would come back but it was a great experience
The food is ok, but what you get for what you pay is just ridiculous. Come on, it’s rice...
Also, the mark-up on the wine list should be considered a crime. Very poor wine list with barely any interesting Spanish wines.
Avoid! You can get more for the price you pay.
Excellent food, service and venue. Pity there is a reduced menu but understandable. Will be back soon.
Best arroz in London , attention to detail , they take seriously safety measures, excellent experience !
As usual the service and food were outstanding. But we were disappointed to know that the cheese stones and truffle bombs are not longer in a la carta menu.
Great place and atmosphere. Definitely a place to go with friends. Also good for couples, provided they are OK with a lively atmosphere
Best paella I’ve had in London
Disappointed! Booked for a special evening with my partner and regretted it soon as we walked in.
No one on reception when entered the restaurant, had to wait to be seen because staff seem to be all over the place.
Was taken upstairs to a table that was next to a noisy group of people, waiter interrupted way too many times when looking at the menu to take our order.
Starters was cold, paella was burnt and cold, dessert was pointless as the ice cream was melted.
We had to ask for the bill 3 times and waited around 20 mins for the change.
Women’s toilets were unbelievably disgusting and unhygienic.
We left feeling hungry and disappointed!
For the price, definitely not worth the food and service.
The ‘Taste of Arros’ menu online and on the direct website is very different to the one offered in the restaurant. What is advertised as great value menu is actually really rather poor (one ‘cheese stone’, small chicken skewer, half kale salad and paella for £23) having removed a starter, wine and tea/coffee from the offering. We ‘replaced’ the missing starter with one from the a la carte menu, the delicious beef cheek at an offensively priced £17. The food is good but it’s not that good.
Very good.the service exellent and food very good
It is a must try type of restaurant. The food quality was excellent, the quantity I’m not so sure.
The service, the atmosphere and the drinks were outstanding!
Been coming to Arros on quite a few occasions - every time with a few issues. once our rice for paella was burnt so bad we had to replace it, waited to be seated for 45 mins (been taken up to the bar and ordered a drink but were starving and all in all waited for food for 1.5 hrs).
We are always seated in a bit of an awkward place - at the end of the restaurant, even though the place is empty. some of the Spanish speaking staff seems to have some serious attitude - borderline rude.
its a massive shame as the location is great, the decour is great but it is the food and people that make the place great!
The restaurant was very welcoming and nothing was a problem.
great efficient service with amazing food!
The paella was one of the best i have had.
The service was really friendly & overall friendly however the food arrived really quickly (all plates within 20 mins of ordering) so we felt very rushed. I would go back but would be clear that we wanted a leisurely meal & to wait between courses
The food was lovely & presented well
Really good spanish food with some innovative take on classics and dishes.
We had the tasting menu which in my opinion ends up being slightly too much due to the size of the paella. It would have been perfect if the paella was slightly smaller as the overall amount of food after something like 8 dishes leaves you completely full with no space for a coffee! In that sense, really good value!
We had meant to go for a while and I'm glad I did, it's a perfect execution of classics and some dishes are really simple but done amazingly well (the kale salad with tomato gelee for instance).
Would definitely recommend for a date night or a group of four but be prepared to spend £150 per person including moderate consumption of wine
I’m sorry for the late review, but that was the Spanish restaurant I have ever been, very nice services and the food was amazing !(especially the beef cheek with the coconut foam that one was absolutely fantastic). The paella was only a bit delayed like 10-20mins but me and my partner wasn’t bother by the detail as we were having a good conversation. However we got the full meal on house which we were so surprised, the manager told they really sorry about the delayed and didn’t want to ruin our night so it was a treat on house. I really don’t have anything I can be criticise about Arros everything was perfect!
Amazing place. Great service. Food is good overall but our vegetarian paella was a bland rice with vegetables. The special with ashes interesting but tiny. Maybe better go for something more traditional to get the best of the chef
Fantastic experience with food presentation and taste up with the very best. Gorgeous. You should all be very proud. We loved our lunch and will be back.
Amazing food
Just do it!
Fantastic experience all around! The setting, service, explanation of dishes, presentations and the list goes on.
Will be back soon!!
Received wrong menu, wrong water and wrong bill. Sommelier never took wine order and we gave up on waiting. Food quality was very good although porciones are very small for the price.
Amazing venue and excellent service. We ordered the black ink rice with cod and it was extremely tasty. Only negative point is the size of the pieces of fish on the dish. It was so small that we struggled to find them and almost told the waiter they made a mistake in the kitchen by forgetting to add the cod to the dish.
Very cool restaurant and food overall good. A bit overpriced though for what I had. A 30£ paella must be incredible and to be honest the one I had was very well presented but definitely not worth it: rice was sticky and i wasn’t expecting fried fish on the Calmari option...
Amazing environment with even better food! I’ll be coming back!
Food was terrible and not cleaned served properly
Great food - good atmosphere - service needs to pick up a bit but in general good
Very poor customer service (the way of speaking to customer by a server), not fairly trained enough to serve at tier 1 retaurant. Paellia was oversized and nothing special. We should have been to other Spanish bars or restaurants.
Expensive for food that is good but not great. Some starters offensively small for the price (soft shell crab)
Food delicious and the service top notch. They brought out a Happy Birthday ice cream without being asked (it asked me if it was a special occasion on the booking form) which was an absolutely lovely touch
Great place! Best Spanish rice ever!!!! Fully recommended!
Really great food and service. Tried several of the paella dishes and everyone of them was extremely well executed and tasted great
My second time there and I liked it a lot, was very quiet though for Lunch.
We tried the set lunch and it was good.
Amazing! Will definitely go back.
Incredible. Great service, outstanding food. A must.
