Arte e pasta
Returning to fresh pasta at the end of may.
Arte e pasta is an Italian sharing plate restaurant, that uses ingredients imported from Slow Food producers throughout Italy, by the food wholesaler, The Chefs Deli.
Whilst its sister restaurant, Bombetta London in Wanstead (next to Snaresbrook underground Station) focuses on Italian grill, the main feature here is fresh pasta.
The restaurant doubles as a gallery, managed by Wood Street Walls, who facilitated an amazing mural on the front of the building. It is a skip and a hop from the delights of the famous neon collection at Gods Own Junk Yard, Pillars Brewery, Mothers Ruin Distillery, Wild Card Brewery tap room; the wider vibrant Walthamstow Village area. Located under a 10 minute walk from both Wood Street Station and Walthamstow Central, come by train, enjoy the wine list, craft beers on tap and creative cocktail menu.

Service was great but food and drinks were a bit overpriced. Not a real ‘Italian’ vibe but food was not bad :)
This restaurant is excellent and well worth the detour. We ate outside due to COVID restrictions. The food was superb, service friendly and efficient and it was very COVID secure. Highly recommended.
A pasta restaurant that doesn’t even sell one pasta dish. Food we did order was average at best, Only a couple of choices of bad overpriced wine. Loads of staff but still have to wave them down to get attention. Such a shame they’ve gotten everything wrong, it had so much promise!
Went out to Arte e Pasta for our first post lockdown lunch. The food was amazing, the service was friendly and relaxed and the cocktails were delicious.
I will be back!
Delicious food and wonderful service! We were thoroughly looked after and made to feel special on our first lunch out since lockdown was lifted! Amazing cocktails and beautiful artwork. The arancini balls were so yummy, can’t wait to return and try more dishes! Highly recommend this hidden gem
Thank you Kate, we are thrilled to be open with the tear4fritti pop up in the alley and thank you for such fantastic feedback. We will be back top fresh pasta in May and we hope you will tell all your friends and family about us. Take care, Ben.
Cool outdoor covered terrace, blankets to keep warm if needed. (We didn’t.) Delicious Sicilian-tinged sharing plates, highlights were truffle salami, anchovy and tomato focaccia, burrata, and nduja panzerotti. Yummy creamy tiramisu. Francia corta to drink as a special occasion was also delicious. Our baby loved the breadsticks and all the attention! Wonderful service too. Can’t wait to return.
Tasty food, excellent personal service. Covered all the bases for my vegan, carnivorous family! We will be back.
Lovely addition to the local area. Great service and excellent food.
We love being here and having you with us #lovewalthamstow :-)
Amazing new local restaurant. Fabulous fresh ingredients Imported from Italy. Amazing and informative staff. Will be returning regularly.!
Just fabulous. We are really lucky to have these guys, what a welcome addition to the Walthamstow dining scene!
Attended on both nights it has opened so far - once the night before lockdown to sample the pasta, and the first day of outdoor dining, for the Tear4Fritti pop up on the newly kitted out terrace.
Food is exceptional, and reasonably priced for the quality, with lovingly-sourced ingredients and friendly staff. The house wine is a real treat.
The first and second of many memorable nights here... if we can get a table once people catch on!
A new and excellent restaurant in Walthamstow. A buzzing atmosphere, exciting food, attentive service. Another step up for Walthamstow a superb restaurant, a great night out. Higly recommend
Wonderful to be there on opening night and served delicious food and drinks by wonderful friendly staff.
Great atmosphere and welcoming hosts. Especially impressive given that it was opening night and only hours before Tier 3 kicked in.
Delicious, simple food with a decent variety.
Will be back for the second opening night.
The food was delicious and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The music and space is really cool! Loved it
