Great place, found that some of the cocktails were too strong. But they were kind enough to change them for us.
Amazing place for a nice evening, cocktails were tasty and the service was amazing! Christian was a star! Thanks for the perfect night!
Love the cocktails but the food was great too
Fabulous setting and great atmosphere. Matched entirely by the level of service. Well worth the price
Love this place, pure luxury. Really well run during a Covid visit.
Lovely cocktails and great bar. Well worth the visit although the theatre of the cocktails in previous visits was much more entertaining
Snacks on previous visits were much better but the crackers brought round were nice but maybe expected a little more considering the price of the drinks.
We really liked the atmosphere and the service. The quality of the cocktails was outstanding. We will be back.
Perfect place to end the evening with a couple of refreshing and delicious cocktails. My second time visiting there and it didn't disappoint thanks to the friendly, helpful staff and relaxing ambience. Will definitely go there again!
Great service, place, drinks and location.........
First class - can not wait to go back.
An excellent cocktail bar. Anna, Marco and the team are not only excellent bartenders, but also outstanding hosts. Try their Cosmo twist!
It was just a very average place. Nothing special at all
receptionist couldn't find booking - when it was found it wasn't updated to reflect the changes I made via opentable. arrived a few mins early as was told the restaurant was not open and was not allowed in it was open at 11:00. Worth nothing that on open table it was giving me an option to book a table for 10:45 at the time of booking
Wonderful experience
A little dismayed over the prices. To my astonishment, one 50ml serving of a premium Grey Goose was £31; cocktails £20 each; and bottled water £6.95....
The interior looked tired, and resembled a fancy pub.
Most of the guests looked like transient tourists, brining in their shopping bags and keeping their coats on.
Super disappointed with the cocktails. The bar itself is lovely, staff were super attentive, but the drinks themselves were pretty ordinary and not even very tasty. We had 5 different cocktails between the 3 of us and there wasn't one I would order again. Presentationally they were hit and miss too, and let's be honest, when you are paying £20 for a drink you expect a bit of theatre. One basically looked like a glass of water with an ice cube in. Definitely won't be rushing back here. Bar snacks were great though!
I really enjoyed the bar area and pleasant lunchtime vibe. Service was excellent and the one glass of Perrier Jouet was sublime. The biggest failing was the over priced and extremely dull quinoa greens salad. Appalling value at £20. Maybe the other bar good is better ‘value’, however I would not recommend the salad. Very disappointing.
I searched for the best bars in London and this one pops up. I was attracted by the interior and diverted cocktail menu. The staff are all friendly and the cocktail menu at this moment is minimalism which I love. Will definitely come back again for the next menu design.
The staff at Artesian was fantastic! They took care of us and the vibe of the bar is so elegant. Drinks were awesome as well!
Very beautiful bar in The Langham, with a unique cocktail menu! Expensive at £20 a cocktail, but the experience was faultless.
Lovely cocktails, and staff was very attentive and experienced, the second visit and did not disappoint
Minimalist cocktails. Interesting. But on balance I think we preferred it as it used to be several years ago.
Staff & drinks amazing, fantastic afternoon faultless
We had a lovely lunch served by attentive and courteous staff. Food was excellent and cocktails were nice but not exciting. Perhaps I'm too 'del boy' wanting fireworks and paper umbrellas! Used to love the bar's innovative cocktail presentation.
Went for cocktails before Afternoon Tea, I have mixed views of the place.
On the one hand I loved the quality of the drinks and the purity of the presentation. On the other I missed the flamboyance of normal cocktails.
I would recommend but would but would let people know not to expect a "normal" cocktail experience.
Also, I think the bar misses a trick and has gone a bit too minimalist, no real menu to explain the cocktails or the process etc. Hides how much work has gone into them
Lovely staff, very attentive.
Had a very pleasant lunch watching the ‘pride ‘ march from the window.
Food was excellent!
The cocktails were amazing! They are pretty pricey but overall it is a great experience. Their food is pretty good too!
Best experience we had for grabbing a drink anywhere in the world!...and we have been all over. Great Job!
I booked a table at the Artesian Bar for my boyfriend birthday. The service was beyond expectation, they saved us the best table and we had an amazing time. We tasted a couple of cocktails, each of them very original. I definitely recommend !
We love Artesian, it’s a great place with excellent staff and it’s a real treat to get together there.
It’s pretty pricey but it’s in central London so that’s not a surprise.
Excellent service , great menu! Very fabulous
Booked for a special occasion whilst visiting London. Initial booking was cancelled for no apparent reason. Contacting them by phone the booking was remade but no confirmation sent so had to contact them again. On arrival at the hotel there was no real welcome. Staff however in the bar area were very pleasant and helpful. The actual bar area is very cramped. It's not somewhere to go for a quiet time or for anything romantic. They have squeezed in as many tables and chairs as they can so when full it's very noisy. We were only there for drinks so only had the nibbles - salt and pepper cracker types and caremelised peanuts. They did ask about allergies and they did give us more when we asked. Drinks wise the cocktail list looks amazing. Lots of unusual combinations and great names evoking memories. But the tastes and presentation didn't wow as we were expecting which was really disappointing. Cost wise each cocktail was £18 or £19. We would have been happy to pay these prices but felt overall they were expensive. I have had a far better experience in other places and wouldn't recommend unless there were no other choices!
Amazing cocktails with outstanding story and thoughts bihind them.
Really enjoyed the worm service from Christian.
Very beautiful bar in very beautiful building. Enjoyed the first visit more than the second but still appreciated their concerted efforts to keep the themes fresh & original. Amazing cocktails.
Amazing cocktails done with lots of creativity. Highly recommend if you're in town.
What a wonderful place to see friends for afternoon tea and laughter. The Artesian bar at the Langham was an excellent venue to see my new friends and to chat about the arts and music.
comfortable bar in a hotel that is definitely on the up.
great respite from the shopping action.
little birthday cake was a lovely touch
service excellent
My booking was for 2 people at 4:45pm - I arrived at 4:58 to be told there was no booking in my name. I was then told it had been cancelled because of a 15min no show policy - fair enough but it was not 15 minutes. By the time I’d discussed the situation my phone ultimately showed 5pm.
They did find me another table but I did feel as though I’d been chastised & it was not 15 minutes
Sadly very disappointed on this visit (we have been before). Booked, but got their a little early and were shown to table in the corner. So we asked to move. I chose a cocktail from the special menu and was advised by the waiter it was not what you would call a long drink, but could almost be classed as food so this was not a good choice for me as I was thirsty. All the other choices had ingredients I did not like so I asked if they had a more normal/generic menu. Waiter told me that if I knew what I wanted they could make one up for me but no they did not have any normal kind of cocktail menu despite being a famous cocktail bar. So I just ordered a simple gin and tonic. Now you would have thought with Gin being one of THE most popular spirits at the moment, I would have been asked what kind of gin I would like - again it was a no. Whilst waiting for our drinks we were approached to query our reservation which the establishment could not find on their system, so I had to prove it by showing an emailed booking confirmation on my phone. Special early evening cocktails with my daughter before going to the theatre after a Christmas girly day out together spoiled.
a lovely place for a catch up and off menu options so great!
