As we entered, we were ignored by the waiter. After walking past us with no acknowledgment. He returned task us where we wanted to sit. I confirmed I had a reservation but he didn't seem to check or care to ask name.
Had to ask for a wine list. Not offered water.
Starters was amazing. After waiting 20 minutes, my main was brought out, however, my partners risotto had apparently been dropped in the lift. I asked for my food to be kept warm whilst they could prepare a fresh main. We waited a further 20 minutes...no apology, didn't fill our wine glasses nor did anyone come back to ask if we were ok.
I was told we were going to receive a discount as through booking through open table, this wasn't on our bill.
Very bad service and expectations let down.

Lovely service and attention to detail. Excellent food (prawn linguine, gnocchi, sides and a tiramisu to share). Sides a bit overpriced. Could do with more comfortable furniture and bigger tables as we felt a bit squeezed in even though the restaurant was not busy.

After a long day in Notting Hill and Portobello, we decided to try this Italian restaurant. The service was very good, polite and helpful waitress. We had 2 starters, veal and tuna, and octopus salad, both of them well presented. The mushroom ravioli was simply delicious. Also the pizza was tasty.Probably the best Italian restaurant in Notting hill.

With my boyfriend we visited the restaurant last weekend .The place was busy but the staff was extremely helpful. The drinks are great.I can say that the tagliatelle that we had were probably the best we have had since a while.

Amazing dinner experience. Such a little gem in the middle of portobello road. we had beef tar tar and celeriac lasagnetta for starters, and pizza and duck ragut pasta for main. ended up with amazing home made tiramisu. The service was excellent, polite, knowledgeable, funny and friendly at the same time. From the outside it looks really modest, but when you come inside, you will be surprised with their interrior. definitely recommended

When we came in the toilets were not cleaned and smelled. Furthermore there were trays on tables downstairs with old food. Not a very nice sight when you come into a restaurant and the food was disappointing.

Incredible food. The steak with bone marrow was to die for. It sits in the middle of Notting Hill's options price-wise, which is good. Service could have been much slicker, but it's a new place - and that's something that's easy to improve with time.

I went to artisan today with 3 other ppl because of a 20% soft launch offer which they pretended not to be aware of and eventually gave us 10%off saying it is only monday to friday not sure ..... etc the address advertised is the wrong address! The phone number is the phone number of a diff restaurant . The pizza is ok the rest unfortunately is basically preprepared plates that are reheated ......... no better than chain restaurants !!!! Risotto appeaes within 10 mn of ordering . Pasta with artichaux and prawn had practically non existant artichaux and 2 prawn heads for decoration and a couple of frozen prawns thrown in with loads of sauce . Unnaceptable nowadays in London to present this level of food . Hope these guys will get their act together because as it stands they are a non starter . Pity !

A small group of us arrived here after work and were excited, news of a new Italian restaurant on portobello. Upon arrival the staff were helpful and went through all the options with us. We had a selection of different pastas and a pizza to share and everything was exactly what we were craving for. The quality of the food was great and service throughout the meal was great up until we left the restaurant. We will definitely be visiting again.
Thank you artesian :) !
