Asado - Palace Downtown
We had a great evening. We were given a table with a nice view so we got to see the fountains. The for was great and tasty. Highly recommend it.
The food took a long time to arrive. The steak was mediocre. And the table next to us was loud with a drunk customer who kept harassing another family sitting around me.
The waitress was very friendly and offered great service.
Best meat we have ever tasted! The beef and the ribs were so tender! The chocolate volcano and the pancakes were delicious as well!
The Argentinian wine was also incredible!
The view is outstanding over the Burj Khalifa!
Finally the service is excellent!
It’s always lovely dining at Asado. Excellent service and very good food quality. Try the baby goat!
I was in Dubai for a 10 hour layover and I’d just come from a long work assignment away from home so I was looking for a nice steak dinner. Asado did not disappoint! I made a reservation here because I saw the selections of steaks in the menu along with the views of the fountain and Burj Khalifa. When i walked in i was immediately greeted by the staff and was given a table with gorgeous views of the fountain. I ordered the Ribeye medium and it was cooked to perfection. I was also given a sample plate of their famous baby goat which was very soft, tender, flavorful and delicious! All of the staff was very nice and helpful with any questions I asked. Overall a great experience, will definitely be back!
Very nice food and excellent hospitality and service
Fanstastic, food, surroundings and service all perfect and faultless.
One of our favorite places to dine when we are in Dubai. Food quality is good especially, visitors must try Asado's goat. We usually order a sharing portion, then the main course. Their wagyu beef is excellent.
Fantastic Place. Good beef with mano sousage. Good view in burj khalifa
The food and service was excellent
However, the whole experience was tarnished by the valet parking situation where we had to wait nearly 25 minutes for the car to be returned
The meal was good, the table was ok, but its on the floating area outside and it moved alot.
The only disapointment was that we were there for a 60th birthday and every other table was acknowlaged as having a birthday except ours. A large disapointment when i put it in the reservation
The food portion were too small and the value for quality is poor.
Service was excellent and the views awesome. Food is delicious especially the meat
Only one thing regarding food intolerances they should improve as I ordered gluten free and they put bread in my dish, then they changed it and replaced my dish but took a time
The Mexican waitress was very friendly
The meat on the mixed grill was tough and gristly, especially the goat and the ribs.
The steak knives we were given were blunt. We asked for replacements and they were even blunter.
Our wine sat on the server’s station for 15 minutes and it would have been longer if I hadn’t been able to finally attract the server’s attention. Then it wasn’t the wine we ordered.
When we arrived we had to seek out someone to help rather than being greeted. When we eventually found her the hostess made inappropriate jokes about our reservation and throughout the night kept being quite pushy about her taking photos of us with our phones. We didn’t want them but she wouldn’t leave us alone. They were terrible photos too ☹️
This review would have been two stars except the setting is lovely. I’d overlook the slackness of service, the annoying hostess, and even the blunt knives, if the meat had been fall off the bone tender as it should have been.
