   We had lunch here and sat in a window seat facing Edmund Street. The AC was a bit too cool for our liking but as we were settled we didn’t ask to move. We ate off the A’la carte menu which we réally enjoyed - a starter and a main - my wife had rice as a side and me a plain naan bread- the naan was exceptionally thin and had holes in it. I raised the issue with a waiter and he said it depends on the naan you ordered and that thin ones were better! Don’t expect much change out of £100 for an A’la carte lunch.

   Food excellent Not a very clean environment Dusty and tired Service poor Ordered champagne and apart from the first glass we poured the rest Not what I expected from this calibre of restaurant Granted it was lunchtime however the serving ce should be the same

   We went to Asha’s to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The whole experience was first class. Beautiful food and excellent service.

   I’d heard a lot about Asha’s Restaurant and was really looking forward to an evening dining there with my husband. However, I’m not quite sure what all the rave reviews are about, as I wasn’t as impressed as I’d hoped to be. The ambience and décor were lovely. Service was okay, we had a particularly attentive waiter, which was appreciated, and one of the managers checked in on us twice. In my honest opinion, the food was quite mediocre, especially considering the prices. I’m more than happy to pay a premium for amazing, mouthwatering dishes, but Asha’s food left us feeling massively underwhelmed and disappointed. It simply lacked the wow factor we were expecting. Perhaps it was due to the fact that it was a busy Saturday evening, but that shouldn’t justify compromising on quality, especially when charging such high prices. We did love the mocktails, and the starters were good. Unfortunately, the main dishes were a major letdown and extraordinarily bland. Sorry, but based on this experience, we won’t be returning.

   The restaurant as a whole was fantastic. To the aesthetics, to the quality of the food, was brilliant. The only criticism if i was to have, would be the length of time it took for the starters to come out, and then one of the party of four was forgotten and we had to ask for the starter to come out. The mains were amazing, the flavours to the portion size, was out of this world.

   The service is exceptional. The staff are very attentive without being intrusive. We booked for my husband's 50th birthday and the restaurant gifted him a (to die for!) piece of chocolate fudge cake with a candle at the end of the meal, which I thought was a very nice touch. There is a great choice of drinks available, especially cocktails. The food is outstanding. Fresh, flavour full and surprisingly large portions. What I ordered (Muscat Gosht) is possibly some of the best Indian food I have ever eaten. The restaurant has a modern decor and a nice vibrant feel, without being too over bearing. Did I think it was value for money? Maybe not. I think you're paying slightly over the odds due to the reputation of the celebrity clientele. Would I return? For a special occasion, yes, without a doubt.

   Such a lovely restaurant with tasty dishes. We celebrated our anniversary here and it was an amazing experience, the food was delicious and the staff made our day very special! Definitely recommend!

    Best Indian food in Birmingham. Have visited many times over 15 years and standard remains excellent.
