Pleasant, professional staff and service. Busy restaurant, good atmosphere.
Delicious food, good quality ingredients.
It’s expensive!!!! We paid £170 for the 4 of us which consisted of 4 mains, 2 rice, 1 nan and 4 drinks ( alcoholic)
Will visit again, but only on very special occasions

Popadom’s were presented attractively and were tasty. Had the chicken tikka masala, really good portion size, lots of meat. Same for my husband’s jalfrezi - loads of well cooked chicken but he thought his sauce was a bit too thick. Good portions of rice and naan.
Service given a 3* because we hadn’t actually finished eating our popadoms when a waiter asked if he could clear away our starters. We sent him away and another waiter came and said our mains were ready to be served. Felt a bit rushed. Table was booked for 4.30pm so the restaurant at that time wasn’t really busy.

Asha’s is always excellent in all respects - food quality and impeccable service are second to none. This is, in my humble opinion, the finest Indian restaurant in Birmingham. Recommended without reservation.

Don't really come here due to past experiences bought my husband for a birthday meal....... Shown to an area where it was quiet.... Picked up a bit later ....
Food choices good nothing was recommended. Prawns and fish to start were great mains chicken keema was not nice infact I couldn't eat it as it was mushy and look awful.. waste of £20 odd pounds
Rumali roti was hard
Drinks were good, service okay but all felt so rushed constantly being asked to order and we had to ask the waiters to wait for food.... Reminded me why I don't go there......the ones abroad are better. Ambience Monday night picked up around 7.30/8pm but nothing brill music was to mellow and dim lighting felt quite sleepy not a brilliant atmosphere

We were sat next to a couple whom were loud and kept arguing with one another, the woman kept interrupting the conversation I was having with my husband which was distracting and not what I had expected. None of the staff apologised for this which was quite ignorant however they were aware of what was going on.
The food was standard and not happy to be charged for popadoms and dips which were not told about.

Lamb chops were nice but all good a bit too pricey for food you can match in most restaurants (except chops which were very nice).

Popadoms and dips £9! Nothing special
Lamb Handi was a bit overpowering - I didn’t like it and left most.

Service was slow and had to constantly try to get attention, put us in outskirts of the restaurant, asked if could go in to the centre part but said was busy when there were tables available.

Over all for £116 for two (water only) it’s not a place I’d be returning to.

On the president’s platter I’d recommend the lamb option.

Good service and nice food, generally. The quality of the food was not at the usual standard, with everything lacking in seasoning - unforgivable for a restaurant of this standing.

Not worth the money for sure. It is overly priced for the quality and taste of the food we get in this restaurant. There are better ones with great tasty food out there. Stay away from it.

Went to Ashas for New Year. Food as always was just perfect and we treated ourselves to cocktails. Not cheap, but delicious and the treasure chest with dry ice wowed my stepson and girlfriend. As always ordered too much, but we’re able to take the leftovers home. My stepson had a prawn dish which was full of large and apparently juicy prawns. The rest of us were vegetarian and the Dahl makni was as good as ever, as were the paneer dishes.
Despite being busy we felt safe and there was a great buzzy atmosphere, with good quick service with no push to get us out (we were early diners and there was a steady stream of people coming in). Thank you for making a memorable evening.

A lovely restaurant with polite and friendly staff serving fantastic food. Waiters accommodating if you request changes to menu options. The food is excellent quality and cooked to perfection. We had the presidents platter with lamb and swapped out the king prawns for chicken - it was absolutely delectable.

So many restaurants haven’t thought about how noise travels resulting in it bouncing off ceilings and walls leading to poor dining experience. Asha’s isn’t like that and the noise level is a healthy hum meaning you can enjoy your own tables conversation without having to raise your voice.

First class all round.

Great meal and fantastic place to eat. Really felt the love from the staff and the food was lovely. I marked down on value for money because you can get similar dishes elsewhere for a lot cheaper. However, we would definitely go back for special occasions.

We booked the taster menu for a family occasion. Overall I was disappointed. We were not properly welcomed to a table. We were ushered in then left for a while. The first course was plonked on the table before the prosecco, or before any drinks order and no one explained how the menu worked. The food was good and the waiter very pleasant but it was very expensive - over £400 for 5, including a service fee of £40. We felt the taster menu was neither good value nor, unfortunately, a special experience.
