Panjim Fish Curry
A typical Goan fish curry with red chillies and ground spices. (Stonebass fish)
Ambience great, attentive waitresses and waiters, prompt service and the food is a delicious, flavoursome with good portions. Being from Wales this restaurant is a revelation. You Welsh curry addicts know what I mean!
I’ll be back!
Friendly and Courteous staff take the experience to a whole new level. Of course Food is outstanding 🍤🍴🍗🍽
Traditional and innovative cooking, fast and friendly service and stylish ambience. Cheers!
We felt initially ignored by the waiting staff who served others around us who had been seated afterwards. 2 of the 3 curries we ordered were extremely hot (one a tikka massala which, to my mind and experience, should not be so hot as to make it difficult to eat). When I questioned this, the waiter said that Asha’s massala is “authentic” so seemingly every other restaurant I’ve eaten that dish in hasn’t been authentic! Overall we were disappointed to have paid nearly £150 for meals which we couldn’t eat.
Really yummy curry for my husband's 50th! Service was great too.
Excellent food, service… great place & atmosphere.
Always a lovely atmosphere. Great food, service and ambience.
Good food, great service. Little loud and the music was not in tune to the cuisine and the general ambiance of the restaurant.
Lovely night and since lovely food. The service was excellent even when the place was very busy. We will be back!
It was a birthday celebration meal both of us enjoyed the food immensely it was outstanding. The service was second to none exceptional! Wonderful night !
Great service and lovely atmosphere.
Food was excellent. Jas
Super food and quality, this restaurant is really worth a visit!
Fabulous birthday dinner staff were so welcoming and attentive. Our waiter Shahid was a gem and made a whole experience magical. He surprised my daughter snd husbund with a chocolate birthday cake snd sang Happy Birthday.
Management also came to wish my husband and daughter a happy birthday which was really lovely.
Overall fabulous delicious dinner thank you Ashas !!!
If you’re looking for a meal out and love Indian food, this is the place. Staff were friendly, great atmosphere, food was lovely. Would recommend any fami,y, friend .org colleague to try this place either for a meal or to celebrate a birthday.
Probably the best curry I have ever had. Mind you it wasn’t cheap 😀
Food took over 90 minutes to arrive. Staff were very slow.
Really disappointed with the food. The dishes on menu Should really have allergen labels. I have a nut allergy and despite the waiter informing the chef to prepare in a separate area I had a nut allergy .
Lovely restaurant food wasn’t as nice as expected.
Defo not worth the price
Lovely evening with amazing service.
Shahid and the team were very helpful and made you feel welcome the whole evening, will definitely be returning when I can :)
Atmosphere, Service and Food all excellent as always.
Two of us had fantastic meals the third persons meal was lamb mince which was a bit spicy and solid could of done with a more wet sauce.
The food was cooked to perfection and the table service was first class.
Great meal, experience and service.
Highly recommend the 6 course dining experience , every course was an amazing , wonderful culinary experience , one of my fave restaurants , Thankyou Asha’s!
The food and service were excellent the restaurant was very noisy but that was due to a party close by. Overall we had a lovely meal and the waiter was really good.
Excellent in all respects. In my humble opinion this is the very best Indian cuisine has to offer. Service is exemplary and food quality is simply superb.
High-end Asian food, go with an open mind and do not expect back street Indian pricing, location and ambiance dictate that this is a notch or three up from you Friday night curry. Personally would recommend as enjoyed my evening here, however appreciate people have different budgets to work to, if you want and expect you're Friday night Balti for £4.95 this place isn't for you, if you want an eating experience and fine dining go for it.
Quality venue and food well done
Lovely food and exceptional tandoori
We visited for a family celebration. The restaurant was busy but staff were attentive and service was good. Food excellent as always - we had the lobster presidents platter which is really good.
By far the best curry we have ever had!! Top quality tasting food with great service
Service was v good , the veg starter platter was cooked to perfection - especially the paneer and spinach and papdi chaat. Hare baingan ka bharta( Maia favourite) was our favourite and bhindi do pyaaza was rich n spicy. All rotis were good, fish curry was v nice . Mix veg raita was devoid of flavour so can give it a miss. The Indian dessert platter finished the meal on a high - gajar halwa reminded me of mums cooking so lovingly made and ras malai was just melt in the mouth.
The food was outstanding and the restaurant is very well decorated. The service was slightly confused though and the restaurant could have done with been a bit better organised. But still a great experience.
Overall nice experience. The waitress named Esther, she was outstanding. Always available for us and taking care of all little things we needed.
Great food, great service. Would go back for sure.
Great service and food was wonderful
Went for a special occasion meal- waiter ordered wrong meal, admitted he had got it wrong but it would take a further 20mins for the correct order to arrive while my partners meal was at the table so we were unable to eat together! The mistake was not mentioned again neither by waiter or manager and when we made them aware that we weren’t happy about the mistake and having to eat separately we were made to feel inferior by the manager just looking at us over the bar obviously discussing us with the waiter and offering us a mere 10% discount which didn’t even cover the meal we had to wait for. All in all I think had the manager or staff have accepted the mistake and offered to try and make things right my review would have been different but to disregard it was totally wrong and for that reason I would not return or reccommended.
Great food as always. Waiter very smiley and helpful. A bit noisy as it was so busy Overall very nice evening
