For global travellers with a cultured palate and a love of variety, Asia de Cuba at St Martins Lane London is a destination restaurant with a whimsical, enchanting interior design and a must-taste fusion philosophy. Cuban-born executive concept chef Luis Pous enhances Jeffrey Chodorow’s original culinary vision with experimental combinations and a new twist on old favourites. Inspired by the cultural synthesis of old Havana’s Chinatown, Pous interprets Asian-influenced Cuban fare for a modern crowd and a discerning palate. Reflecting the same authentic preparations, tropical accents and sharing-style presentation, Asia de Cuba is a chic dining sanctuary. Loved by guests and food critics alike, the menu is full of fresh ingredients, handcrafted dishes and eye-catching interiors that make for an unforgettable dining experience with surprising cultural flavours.

Overall fairly disappointed with the evening. The place seemed buzzy but took a while to get served. Food quality has gone down badly from what it was so without the 50% off deal this place is a no go!!!

My first visit back to Asia de Cuba in some time. Food is still super interesting (I had many questions, and our waiter was happy to answer) and there was a great deal on. Nevertheless, it's still very loud in there which is a bit of a downside and the tables are a bit too close together for my liking. Drinks are very pricey. All that said, it's a fun spot and I'll definitely return.

We had the 50% off for offer which was good, however despite that the general atmosphere and quality of food wasn’t great. I often go to nice restaurants in London, however I wouldn’t really recommend this place to anyone.

I was disappointed in my visit. To be charged 15% service on the bill before the pre theatre discount was applied is robbery. The manager said he could see why I was disappointed but the system was at fault. The service was very poor on top which rubbed salt into the wounds. I won’t be back.

Sadly a real disappointment. The starters were fantastic but that’s where it stops. The service was incredibly slow and inattentive. They allowed us to order wine that they only had 1 or 2 bottles of. We were a table of 6! They tried to serve my vegetarian friend steak.....twice and then conveniently forgot to allocate the 50% discount they had advertised.
Breakfast no better. Took 20 minutes for a coffee to arrive and 40 minutes for our food to come and then the order wasn’t correct!!
There are so many better places to eat in Covent Garden, don’t waste your money here!!

Delicious but expensive food. Cocktails were so late in coming - 25 mins, they were removed from the bill. I thought the wine list was outrageously expensive with a middle of the road Macon Villages coming in at £50 and only one or two for less than that. Would steer clear in the future

My friend and I had a lovely quiet catch up dinner at Asia de Cuba with 50% off food bill, which was an outstanding value for great tasting food. We particularly love the scallop ceviche and the black cod - absolutely divine! The waiter was very friendly and polite - exchanged one of our dishes unprompted when we mentioned it was overcooked and brought us a dessert on the house! Overall, top-rated experience!

we went to Asia de Cuba some months previously and enjoyed the food, we were local and saw a 50% discount on the food and decided to go again, although the starters were well proportioned, they were fried and not very enjoyable, my main course club sandwich was a lot of bread and cold meats, not very enjoyable considering it was £17.00, the meal still came to £60.00 with soft drinks and the 50% food discount. hopefully if we go again the food will be much better.

Good food , innovative fusion food with different tastes . Very friendly staff, eager to help. A couple mistakes made by the waiter( served us something we had not ordered , took it away and then added it onto the bill) though did not ruin the experience . Overall definitely worth trying, though not the cheapest!

Very good service, not too noisy, spacious, food is original with high quality products. Room is too dark to my taste (no windows) and decor is a little common, particularly when compared to the Hotel's lobby (Philippe Stark decoration I think). Good value for money with 50% of food, but not otherwise in my view

Te calamari and the steak were delicious and the waiter very friendly and helpful. I came along on the January 50% offer (a la carte) otherwise it would be too expensive. Not that I could't afford it but choose to pay what I think is fair. Very good experience in a huge space that could be soulless but was mad v friendly at Sunday lunch. Didn't know about happy hour so will check it out. I live 2 minutes away.

Rather disappointing. We were placed on a table at the back of the restaurant on the upper level where it was rather dark and right by where all the waiting staff passed, between us and a pillar. The food was tasty but not exceptional and served warm rather than hot. If we'd had the time we'd have taken this up with the staff but service was slow and we had theatre tickets. We told them we were running out of time but this didn't hurry the dessert along.

Lovely location, right in the West End. A little pricey, but food was good, and ambiance / service was excellent. Given 4 stars rather than 5 as the bill was quite pricey, and although the food and location was nice, the price was a bit over the top.

Presentation of the food was excellent, and the waiter was really friendly and helpful, (helped me navigate the menu as a vegetarian - very helpful). Thanks!

Beautiful restaurant located in a boutique hotel. Service was excellent, very tentative staff.
Cocktails are expensive and cost the same as a starter! Menu was only affordable because of the 50% offer we took up.

we went for a brunch on Saturday. firstly the restaurant was nice and had live music which started the lunch really well. Our waitress Vicky was amazing and looked after us so well that we would all return there just for her hospitality. One of our party is a vegan and Vicky made sure explained the menu thoroughly to us. The brunch is great value (although the main course is not as good as the rest of the menu) and the drinks keep coming. will be going back soon

7 of us went for New Year’s Day brunch
2 of our party were under 6 years of age .
The atmosphere was like a mortuary . We were told we only had 2 hours which was not the warmest of welcomes and the restaurant never reached being half full all the time we were there.Clearly , most staff did not particularly want to work that day and it showed .
The food was just about edible but no stars for presentation or imagination or quality.
We spoke to the day supervisor and he was very apologetic and attempted to offer us all sorts of alcoholic beverages to overcome our disappointment. It was now too late in the day for us as we had youngsters in our group.
We left very dissatisfied and over £260 poorer!
We have had good experiences at Asia de Cuba but consistency is essential for a good restaurant and on this occasion Asia de Cuba failed to deliver .

We were very happy. Had a wonderful meal, were with two children. Chef provided options for my 10 years old daughter. She liked the food. Waiter very friendly and good service.
For a New Year’s Eve was an excellent choice. Cuban live music amasing. I will definitely will come back for a brunch or lunch.

The food quality was very poor. The calamari tasted cold as if it was pre made and sitting out prior to being delivered to our table.

The main dishes (Steak and Salmon) weren’t much better. The salmon tasted bland. The dessert (Rum cake and Mexican Doughnuts) were okay. The doughnuts were good however the rum cake was frozen and tasted like a sponge of booze. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the worst part of our night...

My wife woke up around 3 am and spent the night in the bathroom puking. She said all she could taste was the calamari. We had to catch a flight the next day, and we barely made it because she was so sick from the food the prior night. I would not recommend this place... worst Christmas dinner we’ve had.
