   Visited @pizza before a gig as we saw it was voted #1 pizza place in edinburgh. Not sure how or why this place has earned that spot as there was no atmosphere, pizza was v mediocre, salad was lots of leaves, plus basically just leftover pizza toppings (tiny tomatoes, peppers). Restaurant didn’t feel clean, table had to be wiped before we sat down, water station was messy and toilet wasn’t clean. I think we had mistaken this spot as a nice date night dinner place with its ranking, but is more suited to a quick lunch or takeaway.

   We had lunch here on Saturday 14 - a group of six including one Coeliac. We arrived an hour early for our booking bit they were very accommodating and we got our table straight away. After the first five had ordered, everything was wiped down thoroughly and the GF pizza was prepared separately. The food was ready quickly and was absolutely lovely - everyone enjoyed their food. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend eating here and we will certainly be back.

   The workers were both super helpful, super friendly, and super happy! We enjoyed our pizzas and drinks. Being an American, I LOVED the soda refills and the ability to get as much ICE as I wanted. I’m tired of three square cubes in a drink. Lol!

    Perfect location halfway up Royal Mile, indoor and outdoor eating, really busy on Saturdays so book in advance. The most amazing smoky bbq sauce I ever had on a pizza highly recommend it, and staff are funny quick and efficient. try it you won't be disappointed

    I would highly recommend this place. Part of our party cannot eat gluten and is very sensitive to cross contamination. I had contacted the branch before booking and they got back to me incredibly quickly with a comprehensive explanation of their procedures they use to minimise the chance of cross contamination- make the GF dough in store before any other is made etc. It was very helpful. When we arrived we asked for the gluten free option and they immediately cleaned all the surfaces, changed gloves, and began getting separately stored toppings. It was amazing and all the staff were very knowledgeable about which toppings were safe. The pizzas themselves were amazingly tasty. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic time and couldn’t recommend them enough to others. Thank you for the great evening!

    I booked this place not knowing Edinburgh and I trusted the reviews. Unfortunately it did not live up to the reviews at all. The pizza was not good at all. The staff were friendly and helpful and service very quick, but the food itself is well below the standard I expected. The base was small, the topping scant and the taste not good. Just to clarify for people thinking of going-they warm the pizza up using a large toaster like device. It is not a wood fired pizza. Very disappointed. I do not understand how this restaurant gets such good reviews and wins best pizza place. I would avoid.

    Thanks for taking the time to review. Our sourdough is made with a natural levain and is cold temperature slow proofed for 48 hours. We then give you the option to choose exactly the toppings you want to create the perfect pizza. With an unlimited topping pizza option we struggle to understand your description of 'scant toppings'. We use a high-tech impingement oven (not a grill) that runs at 600F and ensures every pizza gets a perfect cook, no matter what time of day or how busy we are. We understand everyone has their own personal preference and we aren’t for everyone.

    Desperate to visit @pizza to see if they are as good everyone says they are. Ordering experience is similar to Nando’s where you order, collect drinks etc. The pizza was out of this world and by far the best pizza I have had for a very long time. Bluelight Card discount was very good but I will be back, very soon.

    I booked this after looking at reviews. When we got there it was not busy at all, it did not look as slick as I thought it would be. It’s not table service. So you order at the counter, we had a couple of complicated orders they did not write it down as a consequence we did not get correct orders. We did not complain. I was a bit disappointed but the pizza was good but I wouldn’t say it’s the best pizza I have eaten. Also the ladies toilet were disgusting. On a positive note the staff were friendly.

    Think subway for pizza. Counter service to order, pizza delivered to table. Cramped booths for 6 ok for 4. Pizza long and thin so about 2/3 size of round one but same price. Taste was fine but this is no way comparable to pizza punks (I found some review that had both on the best pizza in Scotland list). Pizza punks great. @pizza ok for expensive fast food lunch.
