First time here. Had the 7 course tasting menu. Excellent food and service. Could have served a little slower at course number 5 but was ok! Now one of my favourite Indian restaurants in Cambridge !
Fantastic food as always.
Generally v good, friendly staff, chef came out to speak to us. Was lunchtime so quite but deserves to be much busier
My wife and I went on a Thursday evening. The food was outstanding, with friendly service too. We sat near the front of the restaurant which I think would be better than the tables in the rear. Best Indian food we have eaten for years. Real creativity and skill on display in each dish.
We shared the 6 course tasting menu and also took the lobster option as well.
The quality of the food was superb - very well presented and the combination of the taste and textures of the meals was excellent. Couldn’t fault a thing. The meat courses were very good -tender and juicy without being overlooked. Really have to say this is one of the best Indian meals we’ve had and would highly recommend it.
Service was good, not intrusive at all and the individual courses were spaced out sufficiently so that you could eat comfortably. Portion size was excellent for a tasting menu - all too often you don’t get more than a mouthful. Not here - portions were large enough to get a real taste of the flavours.
Nice restaurant, a well executed menu of Indian food. Lovely service. Would definitely go again. We had tasting menu and it was great.
The lobster is clutch.
Overall good experience.
A little pricey for the food portions served.
Also no option to add a tip for our server on card payment left us a little disappointed.
Very touched by the gesture to get us a complementary dessert for my husband's birthday. Thank you.
Delicious dinner at Atithi. I first came with friends then brought my parents and sister. My sister can't eat onions or garlic which is a difficult dietary requirement for Indian cuisine. Atithi dealt with this well and made a separate curry sauce for her. Pleasant staff, good value, beautiful presentation, well cooked. Would definitely recommend and return!
The menu is not pretentious, very easy to find something and the food is absolutely delicious. Cannot emphasise the word delicious enough. Really enjoyed it. Cost was reasonable too.
Lovely - we had a great meal yet again. Many thanks indeed.
Delicious food whit lot’s of flavours in each dish, I highly recommend it !
Curry is good, but the presentation of foods were not as good as the photos, the scallop I ate cook good but didn’t taste good as the scallop lost it’s taste of freshness. The lamb curry was the best dishes out of all. Nam bread just so so compare with what I had ate before in some Indian restaurant. Service was excellent with friendly staffs and they were very attentive.
Such a fantastic find! Amazing food, outstanding service and not too stuffy- Fantastic!
Great food and lovely friendly staff
We loved it we will be back!!
First time for us but for sure not last! Food was very delicious, service was quick and friendly!
The food was absolutely perfect and so delicious!
Staff were very warm and friendly.
Food is outstanding but I was very disappointed that chefs weren't able to accommodate dietary requirements for heavily promoted tasting menu. More specifically dairy intolerance.
Went here for my wife's birthday and we really impressed with the quality of the food. Being Indian ourselves we tend to find many Indian restaurants food is made using tinned products especially for the vegetarian dishes or packaged paneer. We found here everything is made fresh from the spice blend s for the mains to the ice cream (which was incredible). My wife enjoyed it all and she has never really enjoyed many Indian restaurants we have been to in the past. The chef was very humble and the manner made us feel comfortable. They had a great range of starters which I would probably order several like a tapas. Fantastic overall and definitely coming here again.
Fabulous food but service a bit lacking .maybe staff need a bit more training..
We were left sitting for quite a while before anyone brought a menu or took a drinks order
Amazing food...well balanced and full of flavours!! A must go for Indian food lovers!
Would definitely go for dinner here again. I am looking forward to trying something different on the menu next time. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food was tasty.
A superb lunch and outstanding value! Best Indian food I have sampled in Cambridge. I am looking forward to the tasting menu.
Delicious authentic food and attentive friendly service. Try the Papdi Chaat!
Food was good, but place was stinking.
Food was good.
it was not feeling like i am in an indian resturant.... songs were played were not indian..
Place was very dark
Place was stinking. I emailed them, but not heard back. I am not sure how good is there hygiene standard as the smell was bad. I won't feel to visit again.
Delicious food. Best Indian in Cambridge. Friendly staff.
We had the tasting menu, it was all delicious. I recommend not eating for 24 hours before, though, as it was huge!
Great evening getting tucked into the veggie Taster Menu... Superb!
Fantastic food. Not your traditional Indian.
Really good food and good price as well. This is the second time I have been to Atithi and both times were really good. However this time we were sat at the back of the restaurant, near the toilets, which was rather annoying as we would hear the hand-dryer every time. Other than that, it was a good experience.
Thank you, food was excellent!
Looking forward to visit again.
Food was great. Service was slower than expected and the restaurant wasn't even full. Glad we were sat in the front of the restaurant as the back seemed a little clinical with the bright lighting.
Very tasty food, well presented. Interesting dishes and authentic
I ordered the 6 course taster menu, and tasted food that others had ordered. The food was excellent. The service was excellent. If you're looking for an Indian restaurant in Cambridge, I doubt whether you'll find many places better than this one. Some of the dishes were divine!
I was sceptical of having a 5* dining experience at an Indian Restaurant but Atithi takes curry to another level. The food without doubt was the tastiest Indian food I have ever tasted and I've visited India on my travels tasting many of the local favourites. The service was exceptional, attentive, friendly staff who made you feel welcomed and relaxed. The ambiance / interior could be improved / updated. I was pleasantly surprised with the prices, food and drink were no more expensive than any local curry house with a meal for 3 costing less than £25 per head including wine, poppadum's, starter and mains with sides. The staff enquired about our day and told them I was celebrating my birthday at the end of our meal they brought out a lighted candle on the best tasting ice cream and sung happy birthday, a nice touch to round off a fantastic meal. Would easily recommend Atithi as a fine dining experience
The food is delicious, really good flavours and nice presentation. Reasonably priced wines. Friendly helpful staff. The ambience could be improved through.
Only one criticism- the table were we were at had poor lighting and my partner found reading the menu difficult. However, this was solved when our waitress provided a mobile phone with a light.
Excellent food - different to your usual 'curry house'. Great flavours. And service was great.
My partner and I had the tasting menu. Every dish was outstanding!
Great food, good service all in all a good experience for me and my business colleagues
