Perfectly situated in Liverpool Street’s hectic business quarter, Aubaine Broadgate Circle is popular for breakfast, working lunches and well-earned after-work drinks.
Saturday and Sunday: 11am - 6pm
Great food, absolutely delicious. It was extremely busy when we were there, and there was a delay in our food arriving. It was pre-Christmas so think this probably accounts for that.
My first visit to Aubane, on a Sunday lunchtime. I am not sure yet what the place is like during the week but on a Sunday it was a perfect place for a relaxed lunch - informal but with nice service and delicious food. I shall return
Hi Sruthanach, We’re delighted that you enjoyed your visit with us and would love to welcome you back soon. Thank you for your wonderful review!
Fantastic Food and Service - a lovely birthday lunch! Thank you!
Hi CharlotteC, Thank you for choosing Aubaine to celebrate your special occasion! We’re delighted that you enjoyed your visit with us and would love to welcome you back soon.
Really good food, great service. Brunch deal was very good value- we paid £40 each including tip and the prosecco really was free flowing...! Great place for brunch with friends
Hi Kirstylouise, Thank you for the wonderful review! We’re delighted that you enjoyed brunch with us and would love to welcome you back soon.
I had been here before I had a great experience but it was my friend's first time, unfortunately the service was terrible, and the main courses were over cooked. We did receive a free dessert but then had to wait forever to pay the bill. It was unfortunate as I know it is a lovely restaurant normally.

Reserved table not ready. Restaurant very noisy. Drinks order completely wrong (exactly same experience on my only previous visit). Service otherwise friendly.
Menu pretty good - food was nice and well cooked.

Arriving at 8:30 in the morning I was greeted graciously and shown to a decent table in the beautiful interiors of aubaigne. I ordered the poached eggs on toast and my friend got the, which was pretty much the same minus the kale.
The eggs themselves were very well prepared and the toast tasted great and had the right texture. However my breakfast could have been seasoned a lot better, and the kale was a poor afterthought - soggy and flavourless.
Hi Manos, Thank you for taking the time to review your experience with us at Aubaine; we are grateful for your feedback!
Food service was very slow for a few small plates during a lunch time so it isn't quick enough for a lunch hour spot. The lady looking after us was either rude or on top of us all the time and didn't know the menu. When the food finally arrived it was either tasteless (the frittata with truffle), extremely salty (the Burrata and cauliflower) or disappointing in another way (the dish claiming to be iberico ham was one thin slice on top of a tomato bruschetta where the bread hadn't even been toasted).
Overall very bad experience, one of the worst meals I have had in London and we left half of the food. The service charge was taken off the bill by the staff as an acknowledgement, but it still cost £50 for 6 small plates and some water so I would not recommend at all.
We went on a Monday - so it was very quiet - which is a good thing if you want to talk - the food was very very good and the staff where attentive. The only down side is I slipped on the wet tiled floor when walking to the bathroom and hurt my knee - there was no signs to warn of the danger - so be mindful when wearing heels .
Good value brunch with bottomless bread and pastry basket and prosecco that tasted really good! Was a decent bottle of prosecco. I can't remember my main very well but the fruit salad was substantial and good quality.
Good fair brunch overall and fair price too.
Really lovely and friendly staff, and nice atmosphere, but hit and miss orders for brunch. Would avoid in particular the lobster benedict, tiny portion which for the price we were disappointed at. The French toast however was a generous portion and lovely.
Looking for somewhere to eat around 9.30 PM near Liverpool Street came across Aubsinr. Good food excellent house white and staff still friendly despite the late hour.
Very friendly helpful waiter good location average food
Booked table . Arrived on time and waitress didn’t take notice of my name but sat us down. Food good, only problem was waiting a long time for desert, I had to finally remind waitress. Macaroons came alongside desert as way of apology. Went home to find email from opentable asking why I didn’t attend. Sent reply saying we did. Strange.
Had the Ceasar salad with chicken and couldn't finish it. Really nice.
Service and ambiance was good (early breakfast meeting). Food was decent but not spectacular given the pricing charged and expectations set by the menu.
Disappointing meal, wagyu burger was more tasteless and dryer than most match day van burgers. Service wasn't great either, wasn't familiar with the menu/iPad ordering system and in line with an average lunch.
The staff were pleasant enough but we were looking around on occasions to find someone. The steaks were not cooked as ordered but they did change for others which unfortunately arrived when everyone else had finished. They presented us with a complimentary bottle of wine which was a very nice gesture
Aubaine was so noisy that the waitresses misheard what I asked for every time.
It was very quiet which on a Friday night i thought was strange. Started off well, food was good. Service was shocking!! The waitresses were so rude, they didn’t listen to us at all or catch our eye when we were trying to get drinks or desserts. Waited 20 minutes for a glass of prosecco, could see all the staff doing nothing behind the bar even after I’d chased, including the girl id asked for it. It came over warm. I took it back to the bar and was met with an apology from the barman who clearly was embarrassed and bought a cold glass straight over. They charged us for two bottles of prosecco and were annoyed when we questioned it - we had one, and one glass. They took a long time to rectify it. Not only did the manager never look at us when trying to get served (id day was actively trying to avoid serving some tables) she did not apologise and was rude also. Absolutely appalling service for what should be a nice restaurant and the downfall of this place would simply be the terrible attitude of the waitresses and manager. Never been treated so badly in a restaurant, for no reason
Had a really bad experience here - asked for a dairy free salad and it came out with feta in. Another salad was missing avocado, which we asked for multiple times but it never came - the waitress even took the salad away at one point then brought it back and said the avocado will come out in a separate dish. Also had to ask multiple times for ice for our drinks. Overall bad experience, bad food and incompetent staff.
I wanted to love this place but sadly the food was mediocre, they got the order wrong and whilst the staff were certainly very pleasant, they continually leaned over me on the right to place things down on the left, despite room on the left hand side. It is a nice restaurant and could be so much better but sadly won't be going again.
Food was average. Steak was a bit too tough and the starter which was the sliced octopus tasted like it was just defrosted and a bit bland, very rough texture.
Very noisy , poor service, wrong order and wildly overpriced
We were a party of 7 looking for a few drinks and food in the sun. The food was just about fair for the price level. The staff looked after us well, not always easy for such a get together.
the food was great - couldn't fault the Goats cheese salad. Really tasty. My only criticism is that the Aperol Spritz was quite week, but that's maybe because I make mine strong!!!!
Not the best organised restaurant. I arrived and was seated and discovered 10 minutes later that my friend had been seated at a different table! The food was average if I’m being generous. No dressing at all on my salad and the salmon carpaccio was minuscule which was actually a blessing as it was the worst quality smoked salmon I’ve ever eaten with a bit of chopped red onion on top.
Staff were friendly, just a bit disorganised.
Very pleasant experience. Waiters attentive and the food was nice.
Only downside was that they knocked over my bottle of wine (got quickly cleaned up) but still charged me for the full bottle even although a fair bit of it went over the floor.
Apart from that though very nice indeed
Great setting in Broadgate Circle - which was as buzzing as always. The wine was good, as was the food. The service was lacking though - hard to get server attention and items ordered took a long time to come - reuqiring chasing.
A good meal in Broadgate Circle - quick and friendly service, was in and out within 45 minutes, perfect for a quick business lunch or meeting a friend during a busy working day. Fresh and tasty food, would recommend.
Ambience pleasant, good value but service as usual very slow
Delicious food and exceptional service. Went for bottomless brunch with a group of friends and couldn’t have been happier with the service we received. Good vegan options too!
Really great service despite getting busier throughout the evening. A good affordable Prix fixe menu too.
Very patchy. I have been many times and sometimes it is fine and sometimes it is awful. This was one of the awful times - the burger was totally overcooked. The truffle croque was simply disgusting. It came out cold - cold béchamel sauce is really not nice. Even when it came back it wasn't particularly warm. It did not have any truffles on it - instead some unidentifiable thickly sliced things (mushrooms?). We queried them and were told they were truffles - if so, there was about £80 of truffle on it, so very doubtful. The cheese was meant to be Brie but it was just claggy cheddar. One nice waitress, one very surly waiter. Then they overcharged us and it took ages to sort the bill out. Just bad all round.
Fantastic service- very helpful / friendly waiters, who even adapted the menu for us as we were vegan and they had stopped the vegan menu, but still prepared everything to suit us! The food was very good, especially the vegan starter and desserts, which were very imaginatively and artistically prepared, but it was quite noisy and busy on a Friday night, so best suited to young people who like a vibrant bar scene more than quiet dining, as with the other Aubaines I have been to, but it was still a lovely evening! Thank you very much to all the staff!
Booked bottomless Prosecco Brunch for 6, however, when we arrived we were told that's not what was showing as booked. As they were in short supply of prosecco, they could only offer us wine or bloody Mary cocktails instead.
Ran out of prosecco half an hour before we ran of time and could only offer wine as a replacement. We had the wine as we had half an hour left but the wine was awful and not what we booked for. The service was slow and we had to call them every time we needed a new bottle as they were leaving us for ages. The food was awful, no taste very bland and small portions. No discount offered at the end and no apologies made. They also tried to accuse someone of not paying however they had mislaid a receipt. Overall really was not happy and will not be returning!
It was my Mums 80th birthday and the meal for all 3 of us (after a spa day :-) was lovely. The staff were very polite, attentive and made our meal that evening all the more special - please do pass on our thanks to the staff on 16th February (5.30pm table booking) . I would definitely go to Aubaine again.. The other "attention to detail" we loved was the fact that the waitress brought a large plate to us displaying all the desserts available to choose from.. great idea (as sometimes you don't always get what you imagine the dessert to be!) Thank you all the staff at Aubaine :-)
Went for Valentines...food was poor and charged for an extra glass of wine. Not a place to go for a nice meal more of a chain pub feel.
They did amend the bill and take off the service charge after I raised it with the waiter...which in itself was embarrassing while with someone.
Fantastic service. I came with my 3 month old baby to meet work colleagues and the staff made sure it was a lovely lunch enjoyed by everyone. Thank you!
