Our menu is a taste of modern France with a nod to the traditional. We blaze a trail to original and exciting creations while keeping the much-loved staples of French dining philosophy close to our heart. Namely, the best ingredients, the most delicious wine and thoughtful service.
Tucked just off Regent Street, Aubaine Heddon Street is an oasis in the middle of London’s shopping quarter. The event space of the lower ground floor is ideal for a private business tête-à-tête or social celebrations. The venue caters to events of all shapes and sizes.
Excellent location close to Regent St, lovely service team, delicious french cuisine.
Very disappointing. Despite friendly staff, they did seem disinterested. Maitre'd chatted with one table for over 40 minutes leaving other diners, certainly not interested in other customers - unprofessional.
Food was average, nothing special and the presentation was poor. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant and I certainly won't visit again.
Really good set menu with three options and good value wine for a small get together. There was a bit of a long wait for the mains to arrive but that suited us as we were catching up.
Great location, and nice ambience, but sadly the food was really disappointing. We went for a late lunch. Starters were tiny and lacked any presentation; the mains looked like they had bee left on the side too long and tasted like it too. Service was okay and we were allowed to linger. The best part of the meal was the deserts.
Dimitri the restaurant manager is a ledgend! We had Xmas party and he gave us private room! And looked after us all evening
Hi there, Thanks for sharing your experience dining at Aubaine! We’re so glad you enjoyed your time with us and are grateful for your review.
Celebrating a friends birthday and this was the perfect start to the day. French toast is to die for.
Hi Anita, Thank you for taking the time to review your experience dining at Aubaine. The French toast brioche is one of our favourites at Aubaine, too! So pleased you enjoyed it.
The Service was good and our waitress was very attentive and accommodating. Everyone in our party said that both the starters and main courses were really very good.
Hi Ian, We’re delighted that you enjoyed your visit with us and would love to welcome you back soon. Thank you for your review!
Enjoyed the evening but we were probably looking for somewhere a little less "busy". Was noisy and the staff were moving non stop. As a result service was not perfect although I would not criticise them. Very friendly, relaxed and the food was good.
Hi Peter, Thank you for taking the time to review your experience at Aubaine; we really value your feedback. We’re sorry it wasn’t all that you expected, but we’d love to see you again if you’ll give us another chance!
The restaurant claimed to have no record of our booking, despite my booking it 6 weeks earlier. Eventually they accepted us after I was asked to produce proof of our reservation, which I thought was rude & clearly they didn’t believe us. The maitre d’ made it clear she felt we were somehow at fault & offered no apology for their mistake. We were then seated in a cramped space that resembled a cupboard/storage space by the bar, despite their being a good table for 4 by the windows which wasn’t reserved. There was a stack of high chairs & champagne buckets shoved next to us which was basically our view of the restaurant & I had to insist the waiter remove them. The seating was falling apart & was generally grotty. It literally felt like having a meal in a cupboard under the stairs. Most of the food was just ok but the Butternut Squash Risotto was undercooked & inedible. The whole experience was a huge disappointment as we have eaten at Aubaine many times & never had this experience.
Loved going to the Aubaine. Fabulous food (the sweet potato fries are amazing!), lovely ambience, great location, decent prices, lovely staff, cosy atmosphere, low volume - a real gem in the middle of Central and v. easy to get to.
Hi TheBirthDoula, Thanks for sharing your experience dining at Aubaine! We’re so glad you enjoyed your time with us and are grateful for your feedback. We hope you'll visit us again!
Dropped in for a quick pre-theatre lunch and asked for a fast turnaround. No problem for the servers, who advised us on faster preparation dishes and helped us throughout a wonderful lunch. The food is outstanding, the venue is awesome and the service unsurpassed. Will be back.
Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We’re delighted that you enjoyed your meal with us and would love to welcome you back soon.
This was my second visit to Aubaine. Very nice atmosphere. Staff very friendly . I sat outside on my last visit. Great spot to meet a group for a late lunch after shopping.
Hi Eileen, We’re so pleased you took the time to review your experience with us at Aubaine; thank you for your positive feedback!
Food was below average, chicken was completely overcooked, salad dressing was overly too acidic. Staff walked pass our finished plates 7 or 8 times before we had to inform them to clear it. We wished we liked this place but, but will not be back

Food average and not great value. Staff great and efficient.
We had a great time for brunch, the staff took good care of us with lots of prosecco and great value for money with the 2 courses!
We went to Aubaine for their Free-Flowing Bruch. There were 4 of us in the group - one wheelchair user & one dairy free. They were very accommodating, our waitress was very attentive, friendly and never let our glasses go empty. The free-flowing brunch was £31 per person and absolutely worth it. We really enjoyed our time here and will definitely go back. Lovely food and excellent prosecco!
Staff really friendly and accommodating! Lovely sitting outside in the sunshine and food was delicious. Would definitely recommend for a mid-shop lunch-stop!
Cute little find just off Regent Street. Ideal for getting off the busy shopping streets for a pause for lunch if you don't fancy the Selfridges branch!
We didn’t mind to wait for the food over half an hour although the restaurant was empty so no reason to keep us waiting for a main meal that long - when finally arrived to our table it was a lukewarm... the staff were more absorbed with chatting between themselves instead of paying attention to their customers.
Surprisingly quiet on a friday lunchtime so good for a last minute lunch, speedy prix fixe menu very good value and tasty
Very good service, liked the menu. Privileged position on a corner of the Heddon St development. Outside heaters aid al fresco dining until late.
Starters of Cauliflower with turmeric and burrata revealed crispy cauliflower and soft bureaus with ripe cherry tomatoes they were perfect. Mains of moules frites a bit mean on the moules but classic broth tasty with the bread. Wagyu burger tasted fine but consistency rather compressed / processed in appearance. Fries standard. Shared raspberry tart only average off the shelf perhaps been in the kitchen a while. Decaf coffeee excellent.
Sadly the big downer came with a bizarre systems malfunction with the bill. For some reason (and I genuinely believe it was not underhand behavior from the servers) we were documented having had three gin and tonics when we had had only one. It seemed quite impossible to sort out, to the eventual point of irritation and spoiling of our evening.
On the plus side Roberta was a delightfully attentive server and Daniel the maitre D appropriately embarrassed and apologetic about the technical systems failure which was not his own doing. Cut them a bit of slack. I’ll give it another go.
We're from out of town and met a local friend here. It is a charming atmosphere with comfortable tables both in and outdoors, spaced with plenty of room such that you don't feel like you're squashed in. The servers were all really friendly and made us feel welcome immediately. They are all also on the top of their game - orders get taken almost as a part of the conversation and before you know it your wine, bread, and starters have all appeared. We especially enjoyed meeting Guilia, the gracious manager. Turns out that she and our guest are both Italian and had plenty in common. Guilia achieves that fine balance between professionalism and passion. She loves the restaurant and the food, she loves people, and she's great at what she does. The food here was wholesome, not to frilly, and all delicious. We'd definitely come here again next time we're in the area. Thank you for everything, Guilia and staff!
Excellent food reasonably priced. Cute restaurant!
We had a group of 6 . We stayed for several hours and had many different orders, we were happy that the staff were well able to deal with all our requests .
It’s a small intimate restaurant. The menu is quite extensive, something for everyone.
Overpriced and very small portions. Staff were not attentive and were actually quite rude when we asked for things. Overall I would not reccommend this restaurant. Maybe could for a stop off inbwgeen shopping but don’t expect much.
Good food for a fair price (in Mayfair). Service is very slow so it doesn’t work for a quick 30/45min lunch.
Staff were very welcoming and the food was very good. The only down side was that there was a table next to us where the men were smoking which I assume is ok as we were outside.
We had the bottomless brunch which was delicious and great value for money. They gave us the bottle of prosecco for on the table so no danger of running dry!!
I’ll definitely be back
Had a great day, we came last year on the same weekend. Our waitress who I think was management and im upset I cant remember her name but she was an amazing host and really looked after us. It was a really busy day as it was Gay Pride, but watching her work with her customers was fabulous to see. Please pass on our thanks
Seated outside on a beautiful but warm day. Menu and food were great but service was spotty. They were not very crowded but did not seemed staffed to handle the tables they did have. We had to repeatedly ask for more water.
Welcoming, great service and just off the hustle and bustle of Regent street. Met uo with three friends for lunch. Our request to sit outside in the shade, as it was a hot sunny day, was accomodated by putting the awning out. Good selection of food from mains to salads and sandwiches with quite a few veggie options. Food came in good time and was very tasty, two of us had the superfood salad with halloumi. Two bottles of wine later and no room for the delicious looking desserts.
Nice idea of a free wine bottle with the mains, and surprisingly the white wine (from south fo France) was perfectly pleasant. Otherwise the rest was pretty standard. Nice outside space as most of the restaurants of the street. A couple of wandering mice in the evening.
Lovely time at Aubaine Heddon Street. Only downer were the pigeons flying by, as we were sat outside.
Very good service, lovely food. Nice atmosphere and position in Heddon Street. Staff couldn't do more for you.
One thing that was not good was the cleanliness of the toilets - no toilet rolls available, dirty floor, walls, smells badly. Was very surprised considering the rest of the place.
Had mid week lunch here with a friend. We tried the fixed price menu which for central London was good value. Choice was limited but we had no problem in finding something tasty. Service was good and we didn't feel hurried. We'd go there again.
Needed a table for a bunch of friends and this was very conveniently located for people coming from a number of places across London. The £15 prix fixe suited everyone and was great value. The service was warm and efficient. Would recommend!
Nice fixed price 2 course menu. Although limited choice, the food was good. My friend and I both added £3 to have the steak. Well cooked. Service was good (offered the complimentary glass of wine and even some bread from their own bakery). For a Friday night, it was actually relatively quiet but that meant my friend and I could talk and hear each other (not always possible in restaurants!)
A group of 6 met for the free flowing prosecco brunch option and had a very good time. The staff were very accommodating as 2 of our party were late, and rather than rush us, we had a very leisurely and relaxed afternoon. The food options were tasty and original, the prosecco flowed freely as promised, and after the brunch we indulged in fresh cakes/pastries from a very delicious range. The restaurant was easy to find, not overly busy or noisy so chatting and catching up was very comfortable. I would highly recommend this restaurant on the basis of our joint experience and would visit again
Food was amazing and cooked to perfection. Service was good the staff were very friendly, only problem being that twice we were brought another tables order but didn’t cause any disruption so overall a very good experience would reccomend
Restaurant was quiet (Thursday lunch and everyone was sat outside) but service was very attentive without being over the top and the food was tasty with decent portions and fair prices considering the location.
