Very mediocre food. Was really disappointed as I had high hopes of a good meal. It was dull and very uninspired. I also object to paying service charge on alcohol when the mark up is extortionate in the first place. Would not go back here again.

Our attendant, Marina, was very friendly and pleasant. We were disappointed though to learn that they don't offer proper afternoon tea, which was what we really wanted. My friend had a carolina that was simply exquisite but I wasn't so lucky in my order of a pistachio and raspberry cake, which was too dense and dry for my taste.

the food was cold. the floor was very dirty there was food on the floor, dust, leaves etc... (we sat near the window). I made the mistake of leaving my handbag on the floor and then putting it on my lap....
The food did not come all at once so some people had their plates and others did not. All food thought came cold which was disappointing. Also, the service was slow.

There was no food left at the time of our reservation on Christmas Day. The staff was arrogant but still made us a discount since there was only one choice left on the menu for main and starters... we were also supposed to have a cheese platter included but there were no cheeses left, same for the desserts. Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t go back.

Our Christmas dinner was very poor. Our mood was very up the moment we arrived, soon to decline. We had missing dishes all through the night, we had to order again and again and again and was actually able to receive first piece of water or dish at 19.30 (we arrived at 18.20). It was a simple set menu which we had 3 choices for starter 3 for mains 3 deserts, and we ended up not eating our choices since they were already finished. Waiters were apologising every now and then, saying this was not their usual part of job, saying sorry food is finished but adding they cannot forecast the future so we had to accept that we may not find what we want in the menu. In the end after everything being so late, we did not receive 4 cheese dishes, choose not to have the deserts (since 3 different choices we asked for all finished) choose not to have any coffee, and our mood was down. So after seeing how unhappy 7people in our group was, when asked what can be done to lighten the mood the only thing I could say was that I wanted to have the bill to go home. I wish we never left home to come to this place. The chief said he definitely would be frustrated himself, provided 30% discount so we had to pay £50 per person. Their intentions were good but everything else negative.

When we booked it was because of no set menu at Christmas and when we went there was set menu only with little choice for vegetarians- it’s a great Restaurant any day apart from 25th Dec.
Bellini was wet, sitting for ages with the Salmon on it, the Turkey was dry, four course meal no cheese was offered. The deserts were 10/10, fantastic service very kind staff. We live near by it’s a great place to eat.

Great waiter in Ivan from Sicily who made an effort to interact with our children. He even knicked some macaroons for them from the kitchen. The food was good, not great. The price was super expensive, but the service was very great.

Made last-minute reservations here while on vacation with my wife and 1-year-old son. Most restaurants in the area cringed when we walked in with a small child, but the staff at Aubaine couldn't have made us feel more welcome and happy to have our business. Our little guy made best friends with our exceptional waiter, who took time to play peek a boo, play with cars, and even snuck a macaroon from the bakery for him to try. He also chowed down on the very well-made childrens menu dinner entree.

Food, drinks, and wine were delicious but the evening was made special for us by the extra efforts of the great waitstaff. Would recommend to everybody, with children in tow or not.

The ambience and decor is very nice and sofisticated. The food was good but the portion could have been slighly bigger (we had the avo on toast with poached eggs). The carrot cake was great, I also liked the fact that they bring you over a tray where you can choose your cake from.

Went there to celebrate our anniversary and got afternoon tea. It was honestly the best experience. The food and hot drinks were great. The service was a little bit slow and sometimes we couldn’t find any waiters around to order something or ask for the bill. But in general it was amazing.

We had Miriam as our waitress and she was very nice and engaging! X
The afternoon tea was overall nice however we didn’t particularly like the sandwiches but that may just be personal opinion, it was a bit of a let down as the flavours all sounded nice but we didn’t like the taste.
However the scones were absolutely delicious and the cakes were very good as well and it was all presented beautifully. The staff were all very friendly and the tea we had, Vert Provence was delicious. Thank you!

I have been wanting to visit for a while but was a bit underwhelmed by the food. The place is chilled out and quiet. The decor is simple and pretty. We did the bottomless brunch. The food was average. The cauliflower starter was big and filling but bland and needed a sauce or soemthing. The cod was good. The portobello burger was very dry and quite a bit tasteless. The Bloody Mary was not bad. I don't know if it is a one off or if it is this branch. The service is good and the waiters are nice but tips added on card don't go tot the waiters.
The experience was good but the food was not what a foodie would be after and I am not sure I would go there again for more than a coffee.

We stayed at the Hilton (Bayswater Road) for a few days so the Aubaine Notting Hill, which is attached to the hotel, was really convenient for us. We had both dinner and breakfasts here and enjoyed both. The menu is quite varied and appealing and our food was well cooked and presented. The service was really friendly and accommodating. This restaurant suited us very well for the occasion and we wouldn't hesitate to book again.

I have been to other restaurants in this chain and normally, even if overpriced the food and service were really good. Not in this one. The service is sloweven though it was not busy, coffees arrived cold every time. Ordered a burger for my daughter and what arrived was unchewable steak placed between grease soaked brioche. Ordered two scoops of ice-cream, took 15 minutes to arrive (had to defrost!) and arrived in two cups. All in all, not disgusting but really Not impressed.

All four of our meals tasted great. Service was good also and we had a great view onto Hyde Park.

My only issue was at the position size of the Lobster Benedict which was not stated on the menu. The normal eggs Benedict came with two eggs, two portions of Serrano ham on two pieces of brioche, all covered with hollandaise sauce (cost £9.5).
The Lobster Benedict usually comes served on a potato rosti however I asked if it was possible to change that to toasted brioche. It arrived, one small slice of toasted brioche, and egg and hollandaise sauce. The portion of lobster was so small that the egg completely covered it (cost £14). I ordered a side of cauliflower cheese and even after eating that also, I was not full.
I think it would be fair to receive two slices of brioche, two eggs but the same amount of lobster as I’m away it is expensive. Even if it was placed at the side/on top.

Other than that, the place was great. As you maybe can tell...I left a little hangry (all other portion sizes were perfect)! 😄
