Quiet, delicious and a great service.
Perfect for a family or friends catch-up or even a business dinner.
Very good food, great service and a reasonable price for the level of service and quality of food
The truffle eggs were almost inedible. Chalky texture, overly truffled and under seasoned, served on 4 tiny slices of moist toast.
Food was disappointing and expensive. Atmosphere and decor was nice.
Service was average.
Initially, we were shown to a back room which was dingy and in need of decoration. We asked to be moved and were given a table in the main restaurant--which was much better, but the tables are crammed in with little space between them--not ideal in view of Covid!
The food was decent, but overpriced, and £5+ for a bottle of still water is very naughty!
The service was good but overall it was a disappointing experience. I have eaten in other Aubaine Restaurants( Kensington) which are much smarter and spacious and with smarter loos!
The restaurant didnt even have the soup I came in for, a waste of my time
We had a team lunch and meeting at Aubaine. The food was lovely and we didn't feel rushed in any way. Everyone was lovely and friendly, and we look forward to going back.
Was pretty good - but £90 for a bottle of basic Veuve was a bit of a sting. The lobster spaghetti had no taste to it at all (and I'd checked my Covid status). Good and thoughtful service, giving little extras here and there. Overall a solid standby but I would not seek it out.
The food was tasteless
The cocktails were great
The burrata with beans was without salt /oil or any sauce , the beans tasted just boiled…
The fregola and the aubergines were so tasteless it was difficult to eat .
Staff was nice and the restaurant is nice but definitely not going back to eat .
Shame as it is very convenient location for my work and business lunches
The staff and location are perfect for chilled dinner.
Myself and my friend ordered the lobster pasta for the main, and it was completely tasteless and dry. We ordered the calamari as a a starter which was delicious.
Lovely place and delicious food !!!
Dreadful experience - would advise everyone to avoid. Staff were rude and slow, all the food was cold with no apologies whatsoever or even acknowledgement. Bacon came out of the fridge - eggs were cold, bread basket late and cold , even the coffee only half filled the cups.
Out of desperation we had to pay the bill at the bar because the service was so slow.
nice table, good food, very helpful staff. enjoyable lunch
Poor experience all round, service was slow, food was poorly cooked (dry overcooked chicken and halloumi) and still expensive. No plans to return
We booked this at the last minute and was not disappointed. There was a very noisy group of women who were shouting and screaming with laughter which made it rather unpleasant. However, I believe one of the staff spoke to them about it, they did seem to moderate their noise level for about 20 mins and then it increased again. This is not the restaurants fault, it is just some people are ignorant and rude. There was also a problem in the kitchen and our main course was delayed significantly. However, we were compensated with complimentary drinks and olives, and also were not charged for the dessert. When the meal arrived it was excellent, so we didn't mind and understand difficulties arise.
Apart from the noise, we had a lovely evening and will definitely return.
not that match . food is average , quality is find test is normal
Had lunch at Aubaine Mayfair, I ordered the Tuna Nicoise, well at least that's how it was described on the menu! Very much a case of search for the tuna, there were 2 tiny pieces from what looked like the the 2 small curved edges you get on a tuna steak. Not sure why orzo pasta was included, as I have never once had this, and when I do this at home its never included, certainly not a traditional Tuna Nicoise!
Overall very disappointed with the whole experience and wouldn't have minded the near £100 bill if the food was truly edible, the only nice part of the lunch was the small glass of Sancerre. Poor food, poor and slow service not to be experienced again.
Not a mayfair standard
The restaurant was freezing and the food was cold. The prices were also extortionate.
Very disappointed with the service we wait 30 minutes for our plat and if we didn’t ask no one was going to inform us that they forgot our order. We had to ask them to remove our plat for us to eat the desert. Very disappointed
Very very expensive for what it was.
- Service was very poor. Our order wasn't written down and therefore, when the food came out it was incorrect. We were then left waiting for over 20 minutes for it to be sorted so everyone else had to eat their starter so it didn't get cold.
- The mains took over 30 minutes to arrive, we were therefore pushed for time and had to rush. When the food arrived it wasn't hot but due to the time we had no choice but to eat it.
- All we were given was an apology, no money off our bill. We will not be returning here which is a shame because the food was tasty but it isn't worth it when the service is that poor.
Service was very slow, when following up on very late orders got told off by the waiter. F
Very good friendly and observant service, a bit over priced for breakfast though. I think it’s better for lunch’s etc
Would go again though !
A very enjoyable meal (scallops for starter and steak). Both were cooked to perfection.
The food was good when it came but it wouldn’t be my first choice for a brunch again. The place was cold and a screaming baby did nothing to add to my enjoyment.
We’re so sorry you weren’t happy with your experience dining with us; it looks like we were having an off-day! We hope you’ll give us another go.
Food tasted nice but my 2 friends and I felt sick after for all day
Great food and location.
We’re so pleased you took the time to review your experience with us at Aubaine; thank you for your positive feedback.
Very friendly staff and good spot for quick breakfast meeting
We’re delighted that you enjoyed your visit with us and would love to welcome you back soon.
Fine - as always
Extremey slow service. Bread took 30 min to arrive and a chicken salad 50 minute . The place wasnt evrn fill
Leisurely brunch all aspects of which were good or very good. Not blown away and usual Mayfair prices but happy overall 😎
The venue has so much promise, good location, nice staff, nice decoration, decent sounding menu, sadly however the food just isn’t very well cooked.
Expensive for what we ordered but food quality and taste was good.
Best breakfast I’ve had for a long time. Eggs were perfect. Hollandaise was perfect. Staff were polite. A lovely place to sit.
Staff was very nice and friendly
Service was great
Service extremely slow (c. 40 minutes to get breakfast and 20 mins to get a cup of tea) and order was incorrect so then had to wait even longer for the correct to arrive.
Very slow service - over 45 minutes to bring a yoghurt and bread basket to the table. Expensive for portion size. Thought it was quite noisy too
Lovely relaxed atmosphere
