Beautiful meal. Very relaxed atmosphere within all safety guidelines. Enjoyed the mulled wine 🎅🎁. No rush to finish our meal

It was a fantastic experience, our server, I didn't catch her name but she had short black hair and round glasses was honestly one of the nicest I've ever had. She was genuinely caring and was great at her job and helped made my girls birthday special. Many thanks ☺️

The food was fantastic, chicken wings to start (they come in a huge basket) it fed four of us nicely for a starter. Then I had the spinach salad with buttermilk chicken for mains and profiteroles for dessert, generous portion sizes and so delicious. The staff were very welcoming, helpful, professional and so polite. That really made the experience a 10/10. The environment was relaxing and quiet enough to hear everyone speaking at our table. Overall a fantastic experience. I would highly recommend The Avenue.

Amazing food and service!

Unusually for Avenue can't give 5 stars. All if us eat there happily quite often but this night things went wrong in kitchen. Starters 1 served wrong one, 2 although v tasty were only Luke warm. 2 risotto sent back as they weren't cooked as risotto (usually their risotto is spot on). Another main pasta was very undercooked. They apologised and gave us 2 mains and 2 cocktails from bill.

Best food at really affordable prices. Love your restaurant

Excellent food and fast efficient service by knowledgeable staff. Vast drinks menu and a great selection of cocktails with many more made on request. The portions of food were large alk really well cooked. Good laid back atmosphere which makes you feel at home.

Everything was excellent. All staff were wearing masks as were the customers when not seated. However the table next to us was not 2 meters away, which made me feel uncomfortable.

Third time here, so clearly we were very impressed previously to return twice but less so now. Perhaps service was impacted due to covid but wasn't loving it last night. Going try somewhere else next time.

I have been a big fan of avenue for many years hence why I picked it for our first meal out in months. My lamb shank was overdone. The desert was terrible. Sticky Toffee pudding was recommended to us but tasted like it had been left sitting for hours. It was hard at the base. We waited nearly 40 minutes for our plates to be cleared after main. At this time the restaurant was not busy. I would still recommend Avenue to a friend because of past experiences but I would also let them no of my disappointment with the latest visit. I get is was a crazy weekend as the restaurant opened back up. I got the impression the weekend was done and people had started to put their feet up.
