Really friendly staff, lovely restaurant with amazing views and exquisite food.
Very innovative menu and tasty food. Service was the right level given this was a business meal. I will go again, both social and business events.
We arrived 30 minutes earlier and decided to have a drink on the open terrace. We had a glass of wine but we had to ask for the table twice. Eventually we were seated after 1 and half hour, the food wasn't that great and if we knew that it was like that we would have choose to stay on the terrace to have a couple of tapas and order more drinks. I wouldn't go back to eat again as if I have to invest money for a very good restaurant I would prefer to go somewhere were the booking is respected and we wouldn't have to wait for more than an hour in order to be seated.
Food was excellent...shame we had to wait an hour for someone to take our order! The restaurant itself is stunning and the views over London - beautiful!
Excellent service and marvelous food. Overall a very enjoyable experience.
Great place to dine for amazing views over the city. It's buzzy and fun, with very friendly and efficient staff. The food is fresh, well presented but slightly lacking stellar flavour in the execution. It does come out quickly, which may please a diner in a rush but it does feel a bit too quick for a leisurely dinner. Overall very pleasant though.
Amazing dinner with a stunning view and the birthday girl had a great time.
Eggs were over cooked and English muffin was chewy.
Terrible food, drinks have no alcohol... music was good...
Awful service. Amateurish. Waiter was not interested in firstly taking our order:
-well over 20mins to the point that I had to ask him to take the order;
and secondly allowing us to pay our bill:
-threw the pdq machine at me and as I returned it, picked the reciept booklet up and walked off. I had no chance to tip or to say goodbye and thank you.
Also the bottle of wine we had ordered with our dinner was topped up once throughout so myself and my partner were sat for large periods of our meal without a beverage, as our bottle of wine was sat 5 tables away in a wine bucket.
Awful service. Amateurish.
Thank you for looking after us so well. We had a drink before lunch on the terrace to enjoy the lovely view (the sunshine was a total bonus :))
Lunch was good and service was first class and charming. Thank you for the surprise birthday treat for my dear friend.
Will definitely be back!
We had a lovely steak night there - service was impeccable - as was the food!
It was a great sunny day for a team lunch so we sat outside. Everything was great although we felt the quality of the food didn’t reflect the high price.
The food was excellent and it's a really cool place to eat. Only negatives were that we wait to wait a while for someone to come and take our order and also to come and ask us if we wanted the dessert menu when we finished eating. Also, the roof terrace bar closes at 10pm on a Sunday evening and this was disappointing because we wanted to have a drink there after our meal and enjoy the view but couldn't.
Service was slow. And the girl greeting people as they arrive out of the lift on the 9th floor was rude.
The place is very nice and has a decent atmosphere. The service was good although not the best. The dishes we ordered were all very good except for the Burger which honestly disappointed me a little bit. I thought it would be awesome and it was just ok. I was also a bit disappointed that both the restaurant and the bar closes at 12:00.
A really lovely venue with great views and great food. The staff were great and even gave us a couple of glasses of prosecco to help celebrate an anniversary. Would definitely go back and recommend !
Aviary really gone downhill from last year. Very disappointed. Evening meal noisy and disruptive as all non hotel guests arrived and squeezed onto roof terrace where you could not move. We told them it was our anniversary as we were celebrating our 5th but I really don't know why they asked as they didn't do anything for it and we had had such a nice time there last year but after this visit we will not be back im afraid.
Great roof garden, nice food but service was poor. Long delays between sitting an eating, waiter saying they're coming back in 2 minutes but then not being seen for 20.
Lovely lunch, took my God daughter as a treat. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Food was amazing! Views were great and the bar across the restaurant was also buzzing giving it a great atmosphere even if you were sitting down. Would definitely recommend.
We had a fabulous lunch on a beautiful day which made the most of the view. Staff were very busy which showed at times; we had to ask for our wine to be topped up at one point, but we couldn't fault their friendliness and professionalism.
Food was lovely. Will definitely return.
Had an amazing night for my birthday...great food and very nice and gentle staff
Most amazing view with great food! Bar outside is a gem in summer - definitely a go to for special occasions on a sunny day
This was a beautiful venue for me and my wife's 3rd wedding anniversary. The service was amazing. The food really nice and the view just what we needed.
Not only food is very tasty, but service is amazing! I had specified I was coming for my mom’s birthday, they remembered it and put a special note on her dessert. Thank you to our lovely Italian waitress!
Definitely recommend it to my friends
Very stylish restaurant and the view fab. We had a lovely meal and the service was good but very slow.
I took my girlfriend here for a special 30th birthday dinner and it did not disappoint, the venue is incredible with a restaurant sitting high up over London. The food was delicious and very well executed. The service was exemplary, they really couldn’t do enough for you and made a special effort to ensure that everything was right. The food was probably more on the expensive side but not considerably and certainly not for what you got for it. Great value for money, a wonderful reataurant with a rooftop terrace to enjoy a drink on after dinner. Highly recommended, Do Not Miss Out!
Really excellent lunch, with lovely wait staff. The restaurant was comfortable and stylish but we were lucky enough to be offered a table outside on the terrace.
Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived til the moment we left. I had some family visiting from France and our server, as well as one of the managers, spoke perfect French and looked after us very well. We had a few cocktails as well as some desserts on the terrace and those were just perfection. The pistachio cake was great, so were the drinks and the view. But the highlight really was the service. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. I'll definitely come back and use Aviary as the perfect place to show London to my family.
there is not vegetarian options which is a shame and service was super slow
Too pricey for the quality and quantity of food. Poor value. I wouldn't recommend going there for dinner.
Great venue and lovely, friendly service! Fabulous food on the new menu!
The starters were good but both mains were below average. I ordered beef burger and the bacon was very fatty and not crispy.
My partner's steak was over cooked and very salty. My starter of bbq poussin had a touch too much salt.
It took almost 25 mins after ordering for drinks to come.
Very good food, amazing drinks and view.
Service not acceptable :
- 3 out of 4 people who were responsible for the service, informed us:" it's mine first day",
- we waited 50 minutes for 1 st drink,
- lady at the entrance was completely neutral - lack of smile and inviting atmosphere, rather hostile, observing atmosphere
- after we ate second course someone in suit (manager?) passed by the table and thrown dessert menu at the table, without asking if we are interested to eat/drink/dessert
Our waiter was very nice and tried to compensate it, but he was extremely busy, so many people ended up serving our table with random result.
All this completely ruined atmosphere of our date.
Objectively: very good food, amazing drinks and view.
Really nice food and atomosphere, we arrived early so had a drink outside first. Would return.
First time here and I would definitely return.
Our waitress was very good, friendly and helpful with option choices.
Food was delicious too.
Great view but the service, atmosphere and food quality was poor. There are many better restaurants and bars in London and I won’t be going or recommending anyone to go to Aviary.
Excellent venue. Good food, drinks, and staff. The view was pretty spectacular, however quite expensive depending on what type of evening you are going for. Would go back.
Food was Ok but expensive for what you get. Very small portions but a nice place.
Had a business dinner for 5. Arrived at 6.30 and we're sat promptly. The outdoor terrace was full of post work drinkers and buzzy. We had a round table which was perfect for 5. The mend isn't extensive but had a good selection of fix and meat dishes. Something for everyone and good sides. The only negative was service was a little slow. It felt like they were maybe one or two servers short. By 7.30 every single table was full and the staff were manic trying to cover everybody. The only kitchen was likely overwhelmed too. Luckily for our party we had plenty to talk about and drinks so we were not really impacted by the slow service. Our meals were outstanding and food was piping hot and clearly had not been sittin around. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt on service and would go again. The ambience and the rooftop views also add something special to the experience.
