We were in the area and it was recommended. Well worth a visit, friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be going back
Exceptional food and friendly helpful service. Our favourite restaurant for special occasions as prices reflect the excellence of ingredients, cooking and presentational skills. Wonderful dim sum and soft shell crab starter and proper Peking duck freshly cooked and sliced at the table (needs to be pre-ordered otherwise crispy duck and pancakes is available). Excellent turbot, fillet steak and prawn main courses. Well worthy of Michelin inspector visit. No other oriental or Chinese restaurant is in the same class of Aya Court within 20 miles of Ascot.
The occasion was a Friday dinner for two. The food was as alwasy excellent which we thoroughly enjoyed.
The services and BGM were also good - in short our most favourite restaurant.
I have to say, the food was outstanding - spare ribs were as good as I’ve ever had, black cod as good as Nobu and the vegetarian dishes like aubergine and green beans were fabulous. Service was efficient if a little serious - a smile would be welcomed.
Will definitely be back.
All I can say is am impressed with every single detail of the restaurant, serviec, food and management
I was on vacation on the area and went twice to have dinner at Aya-court. My daughter inisted on going a third time. A shame we went elsewhere. The food is just amazing. High class. High above usual chinese. Service was specially friendly the second day, first day comme çi comme ça... Delicious king chili prawn, the ribs, the dim sum, other plates too. Delicious dessert they recommended. If I am ever around the area I will surely go again.
The cooking here is truly amazing, every dish was perfectly executed and presented with optimum care. The Mala chilli Prawns was bursting with flavour and the beef tenderloin melted in the mouth. The standard here is of the higest level and we shall return very soon.
Aya Court is a very good upmarket Chinese restaurant and is certainly one of the best restaurants in the area.
Another excellent meal. Great service and great food. Thank you.
Quality of food is great. Menu is not very big - would like to see more options available especially for the main course. Cost is high however it matches the quality so acceptable.
We made a booking for 8pm for my daughter's 18th birthday thinking if was above average Chinese and she loves that cuisine. The staff was too rushed right from when we came in. They gave us a table while we wanted a different one saying it was booked however the restaurant had only two tables that were used. Staff rushed us in every couse like they wanted us out. It was not a good experience on a very special day. We will not go back and would not recommend the least.
Always good food - highly recommended
Aya Court never disappoints! When we want a special and delicious meal
we know where to go. Fortunately for us it is nearby, but it would definitely be worth the drive if necessary. The welcome is warm and sincere, the staff are all very professional, and the food is unusual and absolutely superb. It is a bit pricy, but worth it for a special treat. We're already looking forward to our next visit!
Best chinese restaurant outside of London!
Amazing Peking Duck...
Excellent service.A real find.
Well eaten here quite a few times. Not cheap but good. However the other night was absolutely spot on, getting on for Hakkasan quality.
Found out head chef was off and Maitre D' was covering. Turns out he's a chef and although we lime to see you out front, out back stay please as food was absolutely the best we've had there!!
Fantastic food with more interesting dishes than the average Aisian restaurant. Service was very good but was surprised to find they had added on 10% service without mentioning it to us. We would have gladly given them 15%
4 of us had dinner recently to celebrate a birthday and anniversary. We couldn't have had a better evening. The welcome, service, ambience and of course food were the best. Thank you for making such a pleasant evening for us all.
Lovely freshly cooked food. Best Chinese around for miles. Expensive but worth paying extra for a special occasion.
Second time we have eaten here. Food is delicious, great quality, wide range of choices. Talented chef. Staff extremely helpful, polite and attentive. Ambience is perfect, you can have a dinner for two without feeling that you are on top of other diners. The restaurant can cater for small or large groups. Wonderful venue - will definitely return.
We had an excellent meal. Food and service was great.
Will visit again.
The spicy food was very nice but perhaps too much.
Staff were flexible with making adapting the dish and also with our dining time
Aya court has great food, the ambience is also good. I would definitely recommend the Peking duck, it is on the expensive side but is one of the better Peking ducks, if not, the best you will experience.
So if you are looking for great food and are not worried about the price, maybe because it’s a special occasions then it’s a great place for the food. But you will also have to past the unjustified service charge. The service is probably the weakest part of the experience. There is certainly a large room for improvement. They are not very welcoming and do not seem to appreciate your custom. They seem more interested in getting you out of the door once you have finished your meal.
Overall the food makes up for the rest of the review because it is excellent but you will also have to bare the cost, it is a shame the service lets it down as it has potential to be fantastic and if the service was good the cost and the value for money would also improve in turn.
We tried Aya Court on Monday 16th April and everyone was happy and we tried again Thursday 19/April with more relatives. Food & services were equally good. We are all impressed with the food & people.
Our cousin immediately booked for a table to celebrate his 1st anniversary in May.
No doubt we will go back to Aya Court again.
Great recommendation from a friend.
Nice food & service is excellent & friendly.
We are going back there for dinner again this week...
We've been to this restaurant many times but this place creates high level of satisfaction to us every single time .
We enjoyed an absolutely delicious and creative dinner at Aya Court. Everything was perfect: the decor, the attentive and friendly staff, and particularly the beautifully presented food. It was difficult to choose, and we can't wait to return to try other dishes. The BEST Chinese ever!
Moved into the area from London last month glad to have found a decent restaurant. Good choices of beautiful presented dishes with very attentive service.
Having dined here many times, I can honestly say the food and service is getting better and better, the new menu is very extensive and the ingredients are really of a high quality compare to other restaurants which reflex why they are so busy. A big thanks for the complimentary fruit platter for my wife’s Birthday .
Limited menu due to the fact that they do not have any chefs in the kitchen to support the usually extensive menu.
The dishes were served barely warm and most were cold.
The service was extremely poor.
Sadly, this is the third occasion that we have had and service and I will no longer sue them.
AYA Court never fails to impress us. The food is exquisite, never tasted anything as good anywhere else. The white wine is always very cold and of excellent quality. Johnny is always very attentive and excellent, he always has a lovely welcome for us. This restaurant is more expensive than a normal Chinese restaurant, but it is worth every penny. I would highly recommend this place.
The restaurant is bright and modern. The food is tasty, although overpriced and, in some cases, sparse. We had pre-ordered the Peking duck as previous reviews recommended doing so. It was ok, but not as nice as the crispy duck which is traditionally served as a starter. We had 2 plates of meat carved from the duck, the rest being 'added to fried rice'. The bowl of fried rice which we were given by no means contained the remainder of the duck and was insufficient for 6 of us. I've no idea where the rest of the £48.00 duck went! I can only assume that it provided a couple of quarter portions for other diners. Having said that, the salt and pepper squid was great, as was the cod. The staff were polite and attentive but I won't be hurrying back.
Great food with very friendly service. A competitively priced lunch time menu would probably see more lunch-timers attending as the local restaurants generally supply one
Finally a decent chinese outside of London. The Peking Duck is incredible!
Perfect valentines dinner. Great tasting food.
Delightful celebration meal starting with the delicious dim sum and Peking duck (needs to be pre-ordered in advance) followed by a selection of other dishes before finishing with the best sticky toffee pudding we know anywhere. Friendly helpful team led by Tony, as usual. More expensive that other restaurants but nothing comparable for authentic oriental/Chinese food.
No hesitation in commending to anyone wanting a special treat
The service was really good. The food was fantastic. The only thing that took the edge of the meal, was being told that they had shut at 10.00pm on a Saturday evening, while we were still at the table. Who shuts at 10.00pm on a Saturday evening? So go early!
Amazing Chinese restaurant that serves authentic Chinese food with none of the usual nasty additive or MSG. It's not cheap but it is quality.
We have dined at this restaurant many times and the quality of the food/services is consistently good. Also the decor and BGM are to our liking.
