Artist Sinem Disli invites you to dine under the stars. We are bringing the starlight indoors with the help of 33 handmade iridescent yellow light fixtures, arranged artfully with a gentle slope of the night sky. The yellowish-white color has been declared to be the average color of the universe in 2009, after the scientists had analyzed the light from 200.000 galaxies, formed by stars individually indistinguishable by the naked eye. The artist captured that warm beige shade with yellow LED lights in 6 different sizes, which are then arranged in the shapes of 33 constellations. Blue iridescent bulbs, sprinkled throughout, represent 12 zodiac constellations and 55 golden candle holders compl

Very lovely staff, food just not great quality in my opinion. Also house champagne bottle $70 not very good and not worth the money.
Awesome Brunch top of the line Chocolate Martinis .fresh food and tasty. Very satisfied . We be back.. my daughter pick this place out she love the avocado toasted with eggs . Bellinis well served chill ❤️
I took my cousin for her birthday. The experience was so much fun and absolutely delicious! Everyone has to try their chocolate wine!
Hostess really threw our vibe off. She wasn't helpful at all, and didn't help with any dietary restrictions. Her answer was "I don't know", to any questions we asked about the menu.
I reserved a table for my birthday yesterday during Happy Hour and I have so many things to say - where do I start? Firstly, the service was thorough. You have to order your drinks and food at the entrance, but they surprised me with a glass of champagne and a tasty desert. Also, I ordered a Chocolate Raspberry Martini- not on the menu, but it was made and it was super delicious! The staff was amazing, the space was intimate and the “outdoor” seating was heated - super cozy & cute ambiance. Loved it! Great for girls night, date night, bday celebration and happy hour. Definitely a MUST visit spot in NYC. Photos on my ig @queenmarlymar
Happy hour prices
We went here for my birthday and had a great time! We especially loved the honeycomb fig bruschetta and chocolate/wine pairings!
Great for a date- request the trolly tables*** not the ledge
Good for getting a little bit of everything
Food was delightful. The avocado fries are a great contrast and white truffle pizza is simple but flavorful
Must get the juicy and good portion of lamb chops medium (balsamic glaze slaps)
And I can’t stress this enough... the fondue!!!!! Get it!!
Drinks: lychee martini and espresso martini - highly rec. the chocolate old fashioned... not so much.
Service : awful
staff rushed the entire experience for everyone that was dining. We had an 8:30 res- the staff brought out the appetizers before the drinks, brought other entrees out while we were not done with the previous course, turned the lights on, and cleared the venue tables heaters and chairs inside, then put the check down before we ate dessert.
Everything was great except the fact that you have to go to the entrance to order from the host every time
Amazing I will highly recommend this place for relaxing
Food was delicious and service was amazing. We had a great time for my daughter’s birthday celebration.
Great food, great drinks, and great service! Love this spot
Valentine's day experience was horrible. Had reservations for a certain time and had to wait (in the cold) 45 min- up to an hour to be seated. The restaurant clearly over-committed and needed more staff. Also, should have had a seating time-limit per table, it would've saved a lot of stress. The drinks were good and the food was good but the service was inadequate.
We waited forever for a 9:00pm reservation. What’s the point in making a reservation if you will have to still wait an hour. It was Valentine’s Day though, but that wait outside in the cold was nothing nice. The cauliflower rice was just okay and the tofu on it was cold. If I’m paying $95 PER PERSON price fixed I expect better food than that. Her steak was just average and I’ve had better at a catered function at one of those cheesy reward banquets. They brought out the wrong drink and still charged me for it. I won’t be going back. The waitress was the best part of the evening...she was nice.
Bad food long wait
Was not organized for Valentine's day. Orders were not coming out in order of seated tables.
Terrible food and service on a set menu. Ruined valentine's day
Unfortunately, this was a miss. Wasn't going to leave a review, but I have never received such terrible service. It is RARE that I leave a bad review, especially with 1 star. For a Prix Fixe of Dinner for 2, costing a total of $217, it was an absolute disaster. I get it, COVID and restaurants opening back up on Valentines day, but this was a mess. It wasn't the 40 mins of waiting for our reservations that bothered me. It was sitting down at the table at 9:15pm, while checking in at 8:30pm, and being forced to wait over 1 HOUR for our appetizer! I pointed out to one of the hosts that two couples sat after us, and they received their food already! The host tried to tell me I was wrong and they didn't come after us; I saw them with my own eyes, friend! I am sure the waitress forgot to put our order in; she ignored us after looking guilty and talking with other staff. To top it off, another hour later we get our entree, and the steak is rare; I was NEVER asked how I liked my filet mignon cooked. This is the first time EVER that I was never asked how I'd like the meat done--for $217??? What a joke. Unfortunately, this was a terrible experience and we won't be back.
Me and my fiancé went to AYZA's shortly after I proposed to her. Upon arriving for our 8:30 reservations at 8:15 we were made to wait outside in the cold until 9:15 before being seated. We were there until almost midnight, everything was incredibly slow, our waitress was not present at all and we were often waiting for over a half hour just for drinks, the food was good but what should been a night of love and celebration turned into a night of frustration. Our food took so long that we were left feeling that we were unable to properly celebrate our engagement due to every other place being closed by the time we got to leave.
waited a full hour to be seated, waited another hour for our food
Everything was amazing and on point. Tuna tartare was so delish. The best i had in forever! Filet mignon was seasoned perfectly. Chocolate martini was soo good too! Definitely will be back!
Hello from Ayza, thank you for your support and the 5 star review..
It was Valentine's Day and everyone was probably a bit out of practice, but our reservation was delayed 30 minutes, then we sat for 2 hours for 2 apps, 2 entrees and 4 total drinks to be delivered. Our dessert order was forgotten and then we had to wait 20 minutes for them to box it up. For $320 total it was not ideal. Food was good though, just wish the service was better.
Neat place, very crowded, and the menu for Valentine’s Day was just ok
Thank you for your review. I am sad to see we couldn't meet your expectation. If you allow me I'd like to extend you a gift certificate for your future visit. Pls email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Hope you give us another chance.
Slow service, hidden costs, tasteless food, overhyped martinis. Waste of money and time.
They certainly overbooked for VDay. Pretty good food. Pricey for a Prix Fix menu. Very overpriced cocktails. Server was too busy with other tables. Everything felt rushed. Won’t come back.
AYZA was great for Valentine's day and the heater we sat next to was super warm. They were doing a good job keeping everything safe. My only complaint would be that it was definitely a bit overpriced but for a special occasion is was worth it.
Hi Eliot, hello from Ayza, thank you for your support and the feedback.
I believe if my fiance I had gone on a regular week day, the service and experience would have been way better. I booked my reservation a month before 02/14 and the restaurant calls me a few days before saying that they are only doing a prefix menu. If you know how prefix works the menu only has 1/3 (if that) of the food that they serve. The prefix alone starts at $95 per person, which means as soon as I sit down with my date, my tab is already $190. Granted if I would've known that before booking I wouldn't have picked this location. When I tried to explain to one of the workers how inconvenient that is to tell us so last min, the worker replied and said, "You don't have to eat here you could just go somewhere else" in such a rude tone. Yes, he was right, but realistically Valentine's Day reservations (especially during covid) are made in advance. You only gave me 2 days to reconsider which is super inconvenient and almost impossible to find anything on open table of great value in such short notice. When I did finally eat at the restaurant, the space was very limited as if they squeezed people on top of each other DURING A PANDEMIC! The portions of the food were extremely small. The taste was impressive and it was well seasoned. However, I didn't get to order anything that originally attracted me to going to this restaurant. I was forced to get whatever was available. After the prefix (which includes a starter, entree and desert), and a glass of wine, the bill came up to $320. That would've been fine if I felt like I got my moneys worth or if I was able to order what I wanted specifically. When it was time to pay for dinner, we decided it would be a good time to let go some of our single dollar bills (It wasn't the whole $320 in singles). One of the employees made an offensive comment as if we do something illegal on the side. I didn't stress it much because it was a bad joke but now I'm under the impression the restaurant only caters to "specific clientele". smh
Not enough attention from waiters. Food was just okay
Ayza was a great night out. The food was tasty and the space was reasonably warm. The service was astute and polite.
Hello Josh, Thank you for your review.
Delicious chocolate drinks and actual desserts. Perfect place to take a hot date.
HI Stacy, hello from Ayza, thank you for your support and the review..
Went for Valentine’s Day dinner and ordered from the prix fixe menu. Food and drinks were absolutely delicious, but the restaurant was very crowded and service was awful. It’s understandable that it was busy because of the occasion, but it was very clearly overbooked. The initial wait times for the starters were long and one was completely forgotten. We weren’t able to get a hold of anyone to bring it out or to order more water or drinks, yet while we were in the middle of eating entrees we were interrupted by the desserts. The service was non-existent until it was time to rush us out. Again, very understandable that it would be busier for Valentine’s Day and the food was great, but the service made it a very disappointing experience.
Valentine’s Day dinner ruined by mediocre service and subpar food. Not sure if management in this place has changed because the quality is not near the same as when I have come before. Server literally took our order and didn’t speak to us until we were half way through our dessert. I had wanted another round of drinks but was not going to flag down our waitress because that’s not our job. No welcome, happy Valentine’s Day, no how is your meal so far, nothing. Just, “are you ready to order” and “thank you for coming”. They couldn’t even make me a Negroni. One of the most basic cocktails that every bar should supply. I’ll give it up to the busboys and runner as they were on point. Now that food. Had I knew they were offering only a prefixed dinner, I would never had made the reservation none the less for $95 a person! But I gave Ayza the benefit of the doubt because I have dined here before and thought their food would be great especially for the price tag. They couldn’t even include a glass of wine with the prefix. Anyway, the food was HORRIBLE! Shrimp dumplings were tough with only one piece of tiny shrimp per giant dumpling. Sea bass had this dressing which was overly sour resembling vinegar with orange reduction. Literally ate all of this because we were pretty hungry and to make sure that $200+ bill would make sure are bellies were at least a bit satisfied. The only highlight was the crepe dessert. Definitely and unfortunately our last time at AYZA
Went for valentines and everything was amazing, even got seated quickly! My only disappointment was the dessert, expected a bit more especially it being a “wine and chocolate bar”
HI Ashley, hello from Ayza, thank you for your feedback. We'll work on the dessert menu next year.
Loved the vibe, waitress was very helpful, drinks were great, food was good ! Nice experience for Valentine’s Day.
Hello from Ayza, thank you for your support and the 5 star review..
Horrible service. Made us wait for over an hour for an entree and by the time we got it, it was cold. Over priced and over hyped.
The food is lackluster. We were seated in a corner where I couldn’t even sit across from my date since we were sharing corners with the wall. Food took 30 minutes to come. Don’t order steak and eggs, I’ve had better meals at iHop. I don’t even write receipts but damn this was disappointing. Not to mention the odd choice of music. My favorite part was the bathroom. Clean with an epic constellation light fixture. Not worth it though
We loved this place! Amazing cheeses and mezze platter. It was our anniversary and they gave us each a glass of champagne. They had the place decorated nicely for valentines day. Only complaint was that (due to covid) we had to order our food at the front desk, so it felt a bit weird not having the waiter come to the table. But we will definitely come back.
Hi Alison, hello from Ayza, thank you for your support and the 5 star review..
Food and service was amazing but super cramped and even though there were a few heated lamps it seemed to not be working, absolutely freezing if you sat outside. Other than that the food was well worth it.
Hello from Ayza, thank you for your feedback and the review.
Small, intimate setting. One of the best date spots around Herald Square.
