    I had 3 courses my partner 2, the only negative was my 'Blacked pork' it was more chewy than I would expect of pork. The waiting staff were excellent, friendly, helpful & polite. I shall return but eat a different main course.

    We had such a lovely time and meal at B-12. The food was great, cocktails in point and service was friendly and helpful. Even a surprise ‘Happy Birthday’ brownie with our coffee. Thanks so much! :)

    some of the dishes were not up to standard, the hummus was dry and grainy and the sticky toffee pudding was nothing like sticky toffee pudding, could not eat it, the apple pudding was very odd to, upset my son

    A warm welcome & excellent customer service , staff were brilliant friendly & helpful, food & choice food …. is great we loved what we had and will definitely be coming back , beautiful style of restaurant/ bar great value for eating out and also great choice for drinks with friends or a relaxed treat for coffees brunch light lunch’s ….. A great all rounder for everyone with friendly atmosphere 😀

    The food was exceptional, however the service wasn’t the best! I have Been here on numerous occasions and never been disappointed, but this time around the service could have been better! Forgotten drinks, which we asked for on two separate occasions after ordering, being given the wrong bill…..I know people have to learn but the poor girl didn’t seem to have any support! Saying this it will not deter me from visiting again as I do like B12

    Must have been a quiet Saturday. Food was OK, I expected a bit better but very nicely presented. I think it was better the last time we went for cocktails only. Interior is amazing, love the cocktails and staff are very attentive.

    Service was very slow. My main meal came out 10/15 mins after everyone else’s so some of our party had finished eating before I got mine. Waited 20 mins for our first cocktails when we arrived. Waitress did automatically remove my meal from the bill which was appreciated but it was supposed to be my birthday dinner out and it did dampen the evening.

    We have eaten at B12 several times under the old and new management and the previous meals have been good. However, the last visit was disappointing because of poor food and high prices. The Pork Belly was a slab of fat with very little meat on it. My Sirloin Steak was not well done, it was gristly and there wasn't much of it, especially at £22.95. Side orders of veg at £3.50 - £4.95 each is too much. Please try a bit harder and we might come back.

    On a whim visit for a sharing platter! Really tasty. Lovely atmosphere. Huge selection of gins and cocktails. Bar12 is our go to place. Just one thing, if it’s a SHARING platter for two, please ensure EVEN number of all food items. We’ve come across this in other eateries too!

    We went for the bottomless gin experience - 90mins of bottomless gin and a main course for £35pp. Attentive staff, we didn’t miss out on drinks they kept flowing for those 90mins. Great food as well. A really good evening and would highly recommend

    Food was excellent, but customer service left a lot to be desired. Given that the restaurant was virtually empty, the staff were incredibly lax and inattentive. The waiter and barman were constantly on their phones, and we had to ask to order both courses and for the bill, as the waiter was so distracted. The meal I received wasn't as ordered but there was no opportunity to raise this as the waiter never checked in with us. Otherwise, it was a pleasant experience, and would like to return in the hope that other staff members may be more attentive.

    What can I say to help anyone else decide where to eat in Hailsham? This was our second visit to the bistro - and we would come again. Our daughter was with us and said "I wish there was somewhere like this in Burgess Hill", where she lives.

    Visited for a pre-theatre dinner. Had no idea what it would be like, but the photos looked great on the internet. We absolutely loved it!! The food was so tasty and the service fabulous. If we are ever in the area again, we will return. A real find. Thank you.

    We eat with our son and partner visiting from Scotland. The atmosphere was perfect. Relaxing and congenial . The service was excellent with friendly staff. The food was good, with a slightly different choice. It was well present and attractive, in addition to being a high standard. Our only criticism would be a limited menu. Possibly due to the present climate of covid restrictions. But the drinks menu was excellent. We certainly will visit again.

    We were celebrating my birthday and the staff couldn’t be helpful! We had a waiter called Ernie who couldn’t do enough! We didn’t have to wait ages between drinks and they came super quick, even got a free drink for my birthday! Can’t recommend this place enough!
