Our first time here ! Great food Ambience , service
We will be back soon .
Great food and service.
The overall experience was amazing. Food was yummy and interesting and the staff were very friendly. I will differently come again
our waiter was very unfriendly and not chatty or smiling at all. We tipped her 20% nonetheless. Two people at the check in were quite unpleasant and arrogant as well. Food was excellent and other service staff were excellent too.
Sunday brunch was fantastic. Live entertainment was an added bonus. I found the special priced at $35 to be reasonable with many nonalcoholic drink choices.
Great food and great ambience! They have some really interesting cocktails
Good Sunday brunch with live music. The music added to the ambience.
It’s a good ambience but brunch menu is very limited . Wish there were more small plate options .
Very good... today it was Bollywood dance theme at brunch so we had to sit at patio as they don’t allow kids.
Loud but with a nice ethnic vibe. Food was innovative though still average. One and done.
We, a party of three, went as part of restaurant week. We all had to order off the RW menu which was disappointing as one of us was a vegetarian and he wanted something a la carte. That being said, we shared our appetizers -CAULIFLOWER KOLIWADA, POTATO TIKKI, and LAMB KEEMA HYDERABADI. The lamb was exceptional. The PANEER PINWHEEL as a main course for our veggie friend was just ok. Butter Chicken is usually boring but it was what appealed to the two of us who were not veg and it was very tasty. Service was friendly and we were allowed to linger over dessert. We recommend and will return.
Great food. Interesting and delicious vegetarian menu.
It was fantastic. The food was amazing, the staff was extremely knowledgeable, polite, and fast. I was super impressed. Will definitely return.
We were here for dinner recently during restaurant week. We were a party of 4 and got to try many different items from the menu. Everything was extremely delicious! Will definitely go back later to try other options. A must try for Indian food lovers! 😀
Beautiful restaurant delicious food and excellent service.
We visited Baar Baar as part of NY Restaurant Week, and had a great experience! The servings were smaller but perfect for a three course meal.
THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE - RUINED MY BIRTHDAY !!!
I had booked this place for my bday celebrations for 10:00pm on 8/7. I had called them in advance to inform that I was running 10-12 mins late due to rain/ weather. I was told that the kitchen closes at 10:30pm and I need to order before that. I had placed my order by 10:25pm. Out of 4 things I ordered- they were out of stock/ no food available for 2 dishes. They practically had no food left .
The service was bad- the server was RUDE and unapologetic for the experience.
The fact that it was my bday - they had no remorse in ruining the night for me.
I HATE IT !!
It is just a fancy restaurant with slightly modern take on food. Nothing great and definitely not gastro cooking.
A frequent diner .. never disappointed.. everything on the menu tastes good and has distinct flavors.
Not to undermine the cocktails... the only place I enjoy them
Food was amazing and we had a great dinner - service was just quite slow. Waiting 30-45 minutes for main dishes after appetizers, and then another 30-45 minutes for dessert... food was great, but wait was not. would still go back!
Great dinner and atmosphere.
The only thing we didn’t like was that one of us wanted to order off the regular menu but we were told it was Restaurant Week policy not to allow both. I’m not sure if that was the case because I have been to other restaurants during restaurant week and our party ordered off both the regular and restaurant week set menu.
I love the ambience and the food is a great modern indian menu. We liked everything we tried, specially the small plates.
Amazing food and cocktails but the food took a while to come out. Not sure if it's because it takes that long to prepare but we also heard the adjacent table say the same thing. Other than that outstanding.
Great food. Terrible service. We were seated behind a register and by a prep station. Service was extremely infrequent.
I was too happy with the service
It was a wonderful brunch!
Fun & welcoming twist to regular Indian fare! 👌🏽
Incredible food and service- can’t wait to return!
Nice spot for Indian food. Good ambience and food was not too spicy. However was quite pricey
I really loved this place. It’s Indian with a modern twist: an innovative mix of Indian spices and new flavors.
Great experience. Good food and great cocktails. Indian favorites with a twist!
Amazing food! Always love going here to eat!! Great staff and management!
Went for weekend brunch. DJ was too loud and unlike dinner time, service was not up to the mark. It was quite chaotic. Food was great as usual.
Kairi Mule and Rum Punch is a much have for drinks.
Chicken 65 is yummy!
Butter Chicken is Awesome!
Carrot Halva Cake and Chocolate Rum Ball is Heavenly!
And most importantly, the Service they provide makes you feel very special!
Two of the three dishes we ordered were “out.” Of the three that we ended up ordering, two were excellent and the one recommended by the server was horrible. It was old/dry and inedible.
Celebrated my birthday, overall a wonderful experience but expensive. Good vegetarian starters options.
Asian girl and white boy liked their first culinary experience there!
