Fabulous food. However the music was a bit loud for the two of us. Although we are young at heart the noise was a bit much when you are trying to talk and are a bit hard of hearing.

The far room we were in was lovely. Low light, great ambience. The chairs were a little low for comfort, but once the food arrived I didn't notice. The flavours were exquisite. 2nd visit and it did not disappoint. All dishes wonderful. The only thing we were underwhelmed by (and by the look of it our neighbours too) was the giant couscous that comes with the lamb dish. The lamb itself was perfection, just didn't need the big couscous. The Lebanese wine is fantastic, as was the Georgian wine last visit. Will be back often, but maybe on higher chairs. My knees can't take it 😂

Loved the look and feel of BABA , the waitress was very pleasant , staff in general very helpful. Whilst the food was delicious , it could have been hotter , and we did have to wait quite a while for our food when it eventually came it should have been piping hot ! We rounded of our meal with an Irish coffee each , which was lovely, but overpriced ,our Irish coffee’s were £26.50 !. Having said all that , I would go back, but wouldn’t have the Irish coffee’s !

The best meal I have had in a long time! The food and flavour is outstanding! Table wasn’t ready for time of booking and myself and my guests were left standing in an awkward spot for 15 mins.

The tasting menu was ok, but nothing great. Very uncomfortable seat. I do not agree with the 12.5% service charge, I rather pay more for my food and the staff gets a better salary.

Honestly couldn’t recommend Baba enough. Visited twice now, and both have been superb! Food is delicious, and the restaurant is stunning. We were there to catch up with friends and we actually commented that the music level was perfect, enough to block out table next to you but not too loud you can’t hear the people on your own table! But best of all, the service. Tash was the star of the show - she was absolutely lovely! Quick, attentive and so friendly!

Can’t recommend Baba highly enough. Excellent menu, which show cases authentic Middle Eastern/Mediterranean cuisine, but served up in Edinburgh. Brilliant concept and great quality food. It’s a real pleasure eating in Baba, and can’t wait to return.

This was my second visit to Baba (from Australia) and I would come back time and time again. The food is outstanding and the service is friendly. They unfortunately didn't have the lamb available when I was there, which was what I had wanted to order but I opted for the sausage instead and it was full of flavour.

An earlier visit was lovely and the food delicious. But my second visit was mediocre. We were given the wrong cauliflower dish and complained. This was swiftly replaced with the correct one. The chicken wings, sweet potato were fine, and the prawn and octopus skewer contained only two tiny pieces of octopus. It just didn’t live up to the standard of my first visit. Willing to give it another go though!

Food was fantastic as were the cocktails - unfortunately they had run out of Pinot Grigio Service was good but trying to get servers attention when we wanted more drinks was a bit disappointing. But will certainly be back again.

Food was good but waited over an hour for it to arrive. The waiter then gave us the bill and asked us to leave before our drinks and desert arrived. The food was so slow that they needed the table back. In the end they made us have our desert in the bar. They only apologised for allowing us to order desert when there wasn’t time. This really ruined what would have been a lovely meal.

Food was very good, nice ambience, service was fine until we got the bill. This was dealt with in a very odd and slightly disconcerting way - the waiter brought the bill, then demanded my payment card straight away without giving me any time to even look at the bill let alone check it. I felt bullied but did not want to make a fuss. He then grabbed the bill and took it away without asking if we wanted it! I later realised it was probably because they add 12.5% service without telling you. The service was fine but I like to decide what tip I leave and I found that whole part of the experience very shifty and offputting and it did rather spoil the whole experience.

Fabulous food - we had 8 plates, 6 small, 1 main and 1 side for 3 and it was plenty. Great choice and excellent service. Never knew Lebanese food could taste so good. Highly recommend
