Good food and service
Some of the extras were overpriced for the portion size and the amount of meat appeared to vary across the main dishes.
Really like this place and being Lebanese myself, I confirm this is one of my new favorite middle-Eastern restaurants in London. Make sure you try the Mutton shoulder and Zaatar flatbread!!
Service was fast, friendly & personal with great recommendations. The food was delicious, really fresh and tasty and also gluten-free friendly! Will be back for sure!
Very good. The food was excellent and had some of the best coffee after dinner that I ever tasted.
Friendly staff, yummy food, but the back part of the restaurant is no one NEAR as nice as the front. Felt a bit stuff out by the loos.
Great place . New concept don't expect the regular kebab meals.
Was really excited about this place, however was slightly let down! The hummus was amazing, however we arrived at 6.30 and didn't leave until 9.30 due to the food taking so long to arrive! The restaurant seemed to prioritise takeaway orders. The main course was tasty, but a bit dry. Overall good value for money, but would not recommend.
Consistency in the great quality of food and excellent service! Always a pleasure to have dinner here.
Great little place, and superb food. The only downside was that it was very warm as we were put on the bar by the chef. Whilst interesting to watch I would have preferred a table and will be phoning my reservation through next time to ensure I get a table.
This is a really good little spot for dinner, only a few tables and a limited menu but the food was very tasty and the staff were friendly. We ordered hummus and bread to start, the bread amazing! We then shared two kebabs - the chicken and lamb which were both excellent. Would definitely return, thanks for a good meal!
Have been before and the food is always excellent, however, the service this time was really poor. Over an hour to be told our order hadn't been submitted to the kitchen and then told sold out of chosen items only to then see these items being served to other customers who had arrived later.
Great food in a cosy atmosphere. Great selection of beers too
Delicious food, the sides were sublime
This is the 5th time that I have visited Bababoom and every time I have been happy with the service and the quality and variety of dishes. This was the first time I went for brunch and thought it was excellent! The Ultra Runner dish was the firm favourite from the group. The Broad Bean Falafel and the Goat Skewers have been my top favourites. A fantastic new local restaurant! Looking forward to my next visit!
I chose this after reading some reviews and couldn't be happier. The service was great and the food was lovely!! The only slight niggle was that some of the seating was way too low so was a bit uncomfortable when you are sitting to dine for 2-3 hours and if the restaurant is full it can get quite noisy. But a must go...
Very tasty food and a nice change from the usual Italian / Oriental menus in most places, but definitely a casual diner style venue rather than somewhere to spend a romantic evening.
Great atmosphere, great service and most importantly great food.
The food was great; tasty starters and sides and decent sized mains. Only one dessert on the menu but it was very nice too! The downside was that we were in the back area which was really draughty (a small heater they provided didn't help much) and lacking atmosphere compared to the front of the restaurant.
The service was great although we were sat in an alley next to the till where a lot of the staff kept congregating so we did get knocked a bit. Ask for the window seat. Great food.
Food was good, different to the usual brunch options. Coffee very disappointing, only filter available (even though it's Caravan, even though it's free refills, i still hate filter coffee and it's a crime not to have a flat white on a brunch menu haha).
Nice decor, and you can book online which is always a bonus.
Friendly and will go above and beyond for your requirements (they went to buy me soya milk for coffee - which other restaurant would do that these days!). Fun and relaxed cafe vibe serving artisan kebabs and fab sides.
Delicious food and really friendly service. A small but exciting menu and an open kitchen so you can watch what goes on. Quite small inside (definitely worth booking ahead) with little stools to perch on that weren't so comfy but the food more than made up for that, will definitely be back!
Quite a low key place though cool in Comptoir Libanais sort of way though much smaller. Great food and great service. We had all the dips to start - best ever piping hot, deliciously charred flat bread to go with. Then chicken and lamb kebabs (on salad or more bread) with sides of tabbouleh (beautifully studded with barberries) and griddled aubergine - fab. Service is genuine and lovely - which makes all the difference to any dining experience. Immediately booked to go back with friends this Saturday - at which point they gave me a voucher for free hummus - it's the little things... Would recommend.
Loved the food. Great flavours and good portions
Went on a friend's recommendation with my mother. Didn't disappoint. Great food, service and atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Great food, slightly cramped dining area but that's a function of the location I suppose. Tremendously popular even on a Sunday evening.
We have been to bababoom a couple of times and the food is always delicious - succulent, juicy meat on tasty salad or flatbreads with lots of sides and starters all packed with flavour. The restaurant is small and popular so best to book ahead. Service sometimes suffers a little due to the business.
This place has lots of potential, but we visited soon after it launched and service was very slow. We had high expectations after reading rave reviews. The food was good but didn't quite live up to the hype (yet?)
The food was absolutely brilliant and would really recommend this restaurant if you are a fan of middle Eastern cuisine. The service was also very good and all in all really enjoyed the experience.
Once again I had a cracking meal at BabaBoom. A good friend of mine was over from the US so we got a big group of us together for a catch up. The service was very prompt and the staff incredibly friendly. There were a couple of new dishes on the menu which I tried and absolutely loved. I think it's a really great concept and would recommend that people give it a go if they are looking for somewhere interesting to eat in Clapham.
A great and lovely little place, cant wait to go back. Food was amazing
My friend and I had decided to go to BaBa Boom a few weeks prior, then the day before we went, a great review came out in TimeOut. ''Oh no'' we thought, ''now it will be ultra busy and we will be rushed through our meal''. When we came to going, it was the absolute opposite of our worries. Ricky and his team were brilliant. Very attentive throughout, despite the place being full.
And the food certainly lived up to all expectations and reviews. All Lovely flavors , great starters - we have the Whitebait and lovely Hummus. Then the mains cooked over flame grill were delicious...We both had the Goat, recommended by our Waiter. The Lamb also looked great.
At the end we got chatted to one of the Managers / Owners - Ricky , who was lovely and very kind to us. From Waiters to Managers - all were relaxed & friendly, despite their busy restaurant, giving the place a brilliant atmosphere. I will certainly be back
