Had a booking here for a 40th , on arrival we were put in an overflow area with no other people and when we ask to be moved to where the crowd was we were told if we moved the booking would only be for 45 mins . We proceeded to go and we were then subjected to harassment by staff to leave and the area was half empty. Wouldn’t go back not a nice experience at all

Went to Babel for lunch & drinks, very limited menu, pizza or nothing, came in boxes like a carry out Domino’s, I had to ask for a knife & fork as I wasn’t fussed on some of the toppings. No Morgan’s spice, no Bombay sapphire gin. Service was good, sadly the rest let it down. I appreciate Covid has changed everything but to be honest I’m unsure I’d be rushing back. I phoned to query the menu and guy wasn’t very helpful in fact he was quite blunt. £155.00 for a pizza lunch in boxes, not for me. I don’t mind paying if the food is good but it was mediocre.

Well done to Babel and the entire Bill Wolsey empire for opening, when allowed to, against all the odds. The Covid responses by all the UK devolved regions compete with each other in driving panic and, caught in the middle, is the hospitality industry. The fact that they can open, provide good food, and an opportunity for people to meet in these ridiculous circumstances is to applauded. In Babel we were treated with courtesy and the staff were fabulous. Even the pizzas were excellent - puffy and delicious.

Only 4 pizza choices and not very filling. Waiters were very unfriendly and couldn’t really be bothered explaining the menu and impatient when taking the drink order. Four pizzas and three drinks was over £80 and none of us were full.

Did not expect to be handed a pizza in a cardboard box with no cutlery and just a few napkins. Ordered a drink from 2 different members of waiting staff and never got it. Really disappointed with the experience

We had a lovely few hours in Babel. All customers required to wear a mask on entry, all tables spaced well apart. Menu accessed online before placing an order. I felt a lot safer than I had thought I would going out to a bar at the minute.

Fantastic staff and all precautions are taken considering the climate. We had fantastic cocktails and met Luke who was one of the staff working at the bar, he couldn't do enough for us. Thanks for a great time - we will be back. Pat and Michelle

Shocked that there was only one choice on the menu - kebab (chicken, lamb or veggie) And it came in a box to the table? Why a box when there are glasses for the drinks? And then we had to leave our table after 1 1/2 hours with no room at the bar afterwards. Will not be back

There was no choice on menu - flatbreads and chips. We should have maybe done our research better but hard to believe that this was the only choice on offer. Service started off well and got progressively worse as the night went on. Would most definitely not recommend

Service and ambience/atmosphere very good but the very average food kind of let the place down a bit. There was nothing wrong with it per se but it was just okay.

Menu was extremely basic for 10 price point when competitors such as Margo, broken shaker, revolution de Cuba, clot ear providing bigger selection for cheaper.
We were also over charged to which we didn’t realise until checking our online booking.
Poor value for money unfortunately would not head back in comparison to other cocktail bars providing superior service, price and choice in the current covid-19 pandemic. Hopefully others have had a better experience. I also would not be recommending friends this direction. Things can only get better.

Booked for food, the lack of a menu for 10 minutes, and the lack of cho9ce on the menu, 2-3 forma of kebabs, then the size and price of the food was depressing, 23.95 sterling for 2 kebabs and 2 chips is awful.

Lovely bar but the food was terrible. One thing on the menu. So many beautiful places in Belfast that rival this place that I will choose before going back here. Outdoor heaters not operational. Food should not be served in polystyrene cartons when out for dinner on a Friday night (even with the current climate).

Over explained covid related rules, completely ruined the vibe. Went out with friends to escape thinking about the pandemic only to be made feel extremely uncomfortable and uneasy just being there. Really bad atmosphere. Our server was excellent though and attentive.

Unfriendly staff. Didn't make us feel at all welcome, almost as if we were a burden and general impression they would rather no one was in the bar at all.

Don't think we will return.

Location is great if staying in the Bullitt. Nice views over the city from the rooftop garden. Food (Flatbread) is only okay, could probably be better. Choice of drinks is good, can be a little pricy but that is to be expected from the location. Service was really good and attentive.
