About
From the people behind Smokehouse, The Pig and Butcher and The Princess of Shoreditch, Bad Egg is an eclectic diner in the Moorgate area of the City.
London’s ultimate weekend brunch destination, we open from 10am on Saturdays and Sundays serving great food and plenty of booze to a playful soundtrack of old skool hiphop, reggae and ska.
Saturdays are particularly crazy and not for the faint hearted or children – for this we’d recommend Sunday!
Good fun lunch with attentive staff. Good food. Would recommend.
very enjoyable evening, unusual cuts of meat cooked well to order.
The ambience is kind of "industrial" and a bit "aseptic" but the tables are not squeezed together so you can enjoy a nice conversation with your friends.
The meat is outstanding (best meat I had in years) even if a 650gr t-bone cut for two is not enough to eat your fill if you're a carnivore out for dinner.
We had polenta and mushrooms as a side dish: someone should explain the chef that semolina isn't exactly "polenta".
The wine list is sufficiently extensive and reasonably priced.
The staff is kind and helpful.
All considered a bit pricey but definitely worth a visit.
I didn't know this little gem was so close to the office but the food, the staff and the ambiance were great for a casual business lunch or a lunch with colleagues. Also, great value for money!
A good spot. Chicken wings and sides superb. Sirloin not the most exciting. Service was somewhat slow but friendly.
