Badger & Co Ratings and Reviews
The food was incredible and great value. the toad cocktail was my favourite part of the night although the pork belly came a close second! service unfortunately was terribly slow and unattentive. the waiters were polite but not enough of them to give a good service unfortunately, really let the experience down. Lovely menu and decor and general ambience.
Highly recommend this quirkily decorated restaurant... booked a table at 6 pm fully expecting to be told we had to be finished in 2hours as it’s Christmas but that didn’t happen - it was so refreshing to go somewhere that is about the experience and not mainframe money. Will be back many times - Thankyou
Family dinner with young children. The restaurant had made a big effort with the Christmas theme. The dining area was extremely comfortable, with a lovely atmosphere and quiet enough for easy conversation. The food was excellent, again a great deal of effort has gone into creating a very interesting menu. The children's menu was also good. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. A great evening out.
Absolutely outstanding restaurant. I really couldn't fault the place. I took my mum for her birthday and they made us feel extremely welcome and the speed of service was fantastic. The bar area is vibrant without it being overly loud and once you enter the dining area the atmosphere is very calm and cosy. It looks absolutely beautiful with all it's winter/christmas decorations as well. The outside area also looked incredibly cosy with outside heaters. It doesn't surprise me that this place gets booked out quite quickly so make sure you book and plan ahead!
First time I had been, was very pleasantly surprised! Restaurant had a lively atmosphere, funky décor and fantastic staff. The food was delicious and the menu catered for all tastes.
The staff were extremely friendly and professional, couldn't have been more helpful. I'll definitely be back with friends and family.
I came here to celebrate my father's graduation. The bar-tender created some amazing cocktails for us and the food was delicious. The staff were attentive and friendly. We started with the sharing platter (there were three of us), although the platter does have a fairly large amount of food, we had main courses too. However, if you're not so hungry, the sharing platter may leave you too full for a main course! (basically I would recommend it for three hungry people or four averagely hungry people, for two people it's probably too big).
I had the chicken and mushroom pie, my father had the steak pie, and my mother had the vegetable hot pot. We all enjoyed our main courses but couldn't eat dessert!
The decor and atmosphere were lovely and this restaurant could absolutely be appropriate for a special occasion. Do note that there is a fairly decent noise level as the bar is relatively close to the dining area. However, it's not so loud as to be a problem, I actually liked the music we could hear...
I could definitely see myself taking a girl out on a date here (not a first date though, it's probably too nice for a first date).
