We had a big party of 8 and our server took amazing care of us. Food was awesome, special note on the fish tacos which were awesome. Then just a two minute walk back into the bedlam.

We had a nice but not outstanding experience in Nashville. Our server was attentive, food was good, and atmosphere was fine. I think we made a mistake in coming during happy hour (though the half price chips were fine). There were several very, very large tables of people taking full advantage of the half-price margaritas. It made for a rather disorderly dining experience. We had one member of our party that had problems with spicy food, and his choices were few--so that's the caution I'd offer someone else.

Came for my birthday. They had a cute little card set up on the table. Our server was amazing. She was very informative. Staff was very nice. I will say the inside is not what I expected. Definitely great vibes. Great tacos and very good margaritas !

Bakersfield in Downtown Nashville Tennessee was great, the Mexican Food is not the standard food you would get. I ordered the chicken empanadas and they were delicious, lightly fried but full of chicken. Ordered a side of rice and beans, also a side of guacamole. The rice and beans were ok but the guacamole was fantastic! The service was excellent, Jeffrey our server gave good recommendations. The food was a little pricey but it’s Downtown. The Windows are open but in the heat it was completely comfortable, every few minutes you could hear loud people on the street. I recommend Bakersfield for great food and excellent service.

Our lunch experience on Sunday was fantastic. The service was excellent and the food was yummy. You definitely need to make a reservation. Food prices are very reasonable. Drink prices are on par with other restaurants in downtown Nashville. Perfect spot for a pregame or pre-event function.

Our waiter Jeff was awesome and really took care of us. One of us was not doing a shot and he still brought a shot glass with some sparkling water in it. We decided the six of us would get the meal for six and it was well worth the value. This is a casual place with good solid food and drinks. Close enough to Broadway but far enough from the crazy crowds. We have been here a few times and would go back. We were talking about that meal and wanted it again today!

Food was great but it was too loud in there! Service got a little slow toward the end of our meal but I think everyone was trying to close out at once to get to a concert at the stadium.
