Great food and good value. Best churros I’ve ever had!
Fantastic food and friendly staff. Very reasonably priced. Would recommend to everyone!
Lovely food, good quality and beautifully cooked! The lady that served us was friendly, helpful, it was a great first visit and hoping to go back for the Christmas menu!
Great food, good value, couldn't ask for more really.
what a gem, fantastic starters with great main options Cuban classics, barbecue and even carvery. Recommend finishing off with Churros and dulce de leche ice cream.
Superb food, even better value and the service was spot on. Couldn’t fault it.
Amazing food, cannot believe we haven't tried Balseros before, outstanding.
Ate here twice with my husband. Both times the waitress has been very friendly and helpful in choosing something from the menu and generally chatting. Food is lovely and a good choice of wine.
The first time we felt the lighting was too bright but the waitress dimmed the lights which made the atmosphere better. Would generally recommend this restaurant as nice to have something different in the area and not another Mediterranean restaurant.
First time at Balseros, very friendly waitress, food was excellent, good choice and reasonably priced. Have already recommended to colleagues and family, will definitely be back.
Food was fantastic, lovely bottle of wine & friendly staff
We will definitely be back & will bring friends!!
Food was very nice, service was friendly if a little slow but then we weren't in a hurry so no problem only down side was the price of cocktails!! very overpriced & not that brilliant, prefer Chupitos
2 4 1 cocktails were great and specials were amazing... The pork I think needs more flavour else perfect meal
Lovely food, friendly staff. Would deffo go again. There are not many vegetarian options which is the only downside I can think of.
First visit since it opened and was not disappointed. Staff were great and attentive. The menu was small but there was something for every pallet and the food was amazing.
Thoroughly recommend this and will be back.
3 courses and drinks came to £50 a head. The sharing platter is fantastic but you do need to order sides with it.
A welcome addition to Welling’s somewhat sparse restaurant community. Amazing food and extremely generous portions. Service was friendly and efficient. We’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu.
We dine out a lot and appreciate good food. This place exceeded our expectation, the food was fantastic. Will definitively be going back again and loved the specials! Food was fresh, well presented and you could tell it was truly authentic.
Good food. Spacious bright venue. Waitress very attentive although restaurant was not very busy when we went on a Friday night. P
The waitress was friendly, polite and very attentive.
We ordered the fried Squid for a starter and I can honestly say it was the best I have ever had.
The food was really nice and the cocktails were absolutely amazing.
I can’t wait to go back
Wow ! Amazing Cuban food in Welling !
We had a mixture starters all good portion size and very tasty.
Decided to go for a burger as first visit and were really surprised at quality .Excellent .
Much better than famous burger gourmet chains and for size with homemade chips good value.
We will definitely come back to try sharing platter.
Love the food . They make a great mojito . Service was great . Will go back and will recommend to friends .
Absolutely amazing , really good food just a fantastic place .thank you
Food was lovely and the lady who looked after us was really helpful. Amazing cocktails!
We loved it. Party of 4 who fancied something different and we weren't disappointed. The food was amazing and very well priced, service was fantastic. We will certainly be back!
Excellent food and friendly service
Booked for mother’s day and given Buck’s Fizz on arrival. Good choice on menu and the best mussels I’ve had for a while. Staff were attentive and friendly. There was themed music in the background which was good. Only thing I would say is drinks a bit pricey.
Will be booking again though as great atmosphere.
My husband and daughter took me here for Mother's Day lunch. What a wonderful choice! We will definitely be back and will bring friends. Do book as they are not overstaffed and it's a small restaurant. Just so delighted that Balseros is in our neighbourhood. Definitely deserves local support. The staff is delightful, the decor and music fun and inviting, good drink selection at near enough London prices, but the margaritas were truly delicious and not watered down. The beer on tap choice is modest but good quality. The food is outstanding. We shared a few small plates to start - black bean hummus, fried chilies, and the meat empanadas - all incredibly fresh ingredients and the empanadas, particularly, were delicious. The fried chilies had the added fun of a 'russian roulette' of who would get the very spicy ones. My daughter and I both had the seabass with crushed potatoes, greens and tomato salsa, which was delicious, perfectly cooked, again all with the freshest and tastiest ingredients. My husband had the burnt end burger, which arrived in a cloche!, and said he can't wait to go back and order it again. Just truly outstanding. Thank you!!
Had a great time and food was sooo yummy. Would definitely go back again.
Lovely family meal out, the food was delicious and very high quality meat, well cooked. Attentive service. We will return, highly recommended!
Excellent service and food. We suggested dimming the lights slightly as it was very bright and the waitress obliged and agreed it made it better.
This is the second time that I have eaten here and again it did not disappoint me. The staff are very friendly the food was first class. We had the filet steak and all I want to know is, who supplies the beef? The quality is fantastic and so reasonably priced
For a local restaurant you can’t do much better and I would encourage anyone to support it.
Will definitely be going back, and soon
Excellent restaurant, its a regular twice a month, and its great every time, and massive portions.
Our 2nd visit and a really enjoyable meal again. I'd reccomend the Brazilian croquettes as a starter. Its always a really good menu offer. We experienced very nice service and our waitress remembered us from previously which is a nice touch. The ambience needs to improve for 5 stars, the space is quite open and sound can travel easily from tables with large groups and it can get quite noisy.
Good value for money with a latin flavour to it. But, I would expect more Cuban food being categorised a Cuban restaurant
Great welcome. Great food. Great service. It was our first time at this little gem, there wil be more visits.
Adventurous menu with a number of authentic Cuban dishes on offer. Please give this restaurant a try, I promise you’ll not be disappointed. We had patacones (fried plantains Cuban style) these are very moorish 😋 and my husband had the flaming chorizo from the specials board. For mains we both had the slow cooked beef rib with roasted veg and thick cut chips. I cannot emphasise enough how delicious and plentiful this dish was. The beef was beautifully soft and flavoursome and a excellent (and abundant) selection of roasted veg. The thick cut potatoes are sublime and cooked to perfection. I can honestly say we have found our new favourite local.
Friendly and attentive staff and the decor is fresh and modern. Highly recommended!
Food was ok, cocktails were lovely. The actual restaurant is more casual & was cold
The food was really slow to come out, although there were just 4 tables dining. The same food was not so good in quality, and the oil used to fry croquettes was really old.
Lovely new restaurant with great varied food and drinks menu.
Food tasty and fresh ingredients our waitress was lovely
Food was really good. The plates are rather tricky to eat off as you end up chasing your food. I would recommend this to everyone.
