Eaten out a lot in the last few months, but this restaurant takes the most COVID measures. Hand cleaning before entering and temperature taken before being seated.

The restaurant was very busy so it took quite a while for our mains to arrive but we were happy drinking the delicious cocktails. The food was good quality and seemed very fresh.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

I’ve eaten here a few times, food is delicious with great menu choices. Prices are average and atmosphere is good. Would highly recommend this place.

Food and drink was amazing, service was great and very accommodating as it was my nieces birthday and they decorated her dessert with happy birthday. I would highly recommend to both groups, families and couples, can't wait to go back. A nice local little gem!

We popped in for lunch on Sat around 1pm. We had a few of the starters like a tapas which was the buffalo wings, garlic prawns, dirty fries. It was delicious and definitively did not disappoint. We were served by the sweetest young girl who was incredibly attentive. It was fairly quiet but service was wonderful... already planning our next visit 👍

Staff very nice, decor lovely. Food was great, drinks a little pricey for a cheap bottle of wine.

Fantastic food, really nice service. Felt the menu was slightly limited but not this may be due to COVID. Very large drinks menu aswell. Would definitely eat there again.

Lockdown birthday meal. Never heard of the place but was looking for somewhere at short notice. It had good reviews so I took a chance. All COVID measures were in place and we were asked to check in via NHS track app. Waitress was attentive but not intrusive. Everything was tasty, hot and most importantly the toilets were scrupulously clean. They were happy to advise on the dishes and I was impressed. I will qualify the four stars that I put for ambience, purely because there was no one else in there but we were early and it is lockdown. Having said that, it didn’t feel weird or empty particularly, just not a five star ambience at that moment in time. I would definitely go there again.

Me and my husband celebrated our 7th Wedding Anniversary here and the Food was amazing. We ordered the buffet for two and there was so much there, I would say it would have fed 3. The staff were very attentive and ensured we felt safe (distancing of tables).
We were scanned for temperature and asked to use the hand gel too on entering. Am looking forward to our next visit. Thank you very much

This is the second time we have visited balseros, we had a very good experience the first time and were not disappointed on the second visit. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Highly recommended

Very good service. The food is great and the cocktails are fantastic. The restaurant is local to me so it is really good to have that place you can go to anytime without any travelling involved especially at this time.

This was my first meal out in 6 months.Really good service and felt very safe. temperature checks on entering, hand sanitiser station, all staff wearing masks and tables well spaced.

The staff were so welcoming and lovely, the food and drinks were absolutely delicious, and the environment was very clean and decorated beautifully. It was my first time here, and I came by complete chance with friends. But I’d already booked a table for my next visit before I’d left! This will definitely become a regular.

Taking advantage of the Eat Out scheme, first time here. Fantastic food and great ambience but only 2 waiting staff and 1 person on the bar couldn’t cope with the full restaurant. It wouldn’t stop me going back as the food was so good and I wasn’t in a rush. Didn’t like having to wait so long for my wine though. Nice decor.
