I can’t fault this restaurant in anyway! I came with my mum who is in a wheelchair and they couldn’t be anymore accommodating. They helped with my mum and were so friendly. The food was outstanding as were the cocktails. Picking up some vouchers for Christmas presents more people have to know about this restaurant absolutely beautiful decor actually speechless when I walked in

Restaurant is in a great location and the decor is absolutely stunning. Drinks were great as to were the starters. The mains were very mediocre and portions small. Service was slow and the wait staff kept forgetting our requests. The atmosphere created by the restaurant team felt tense at times. Aside from all of this I went to the bathroom to touch up my make up and found a female in there quit upset as a male staffer had followed her to the bathroom to ask if she had settled her bill. I won’t be back personally.

This was our first visit to Banca di Roma, and unfortunately we won’t be returning. There was 6 of us so a large table, we were sat up the stairs next to the toilets and as it was a Friday night and near Christmas it was extremely busy both the restaurant and the toilets, I understand this can’t be helped but the table could be placed slightly further away from this area as food is also sat across from it to then be served. Our food was very poor, starters were cold and bruschetta was rock hard and sadly mains weren’t much better. We were served 3 dishes of our main and the rest was left on a tray across from the toilet to then be noticed by another waiter who then served the rest of the meal and again food was cold and of poor quality, I have had better steak from Aldi and the pasta was overcooked, as you can imagine I was shocked when receiving the bill of £300 after this, which was only including 3 starters and 6 mains with no alcohol only 4 fizzy drinks. Very disappointing.

Really loved the beauty of the place.Would have liked more choices of pizza toppings e.g. chicken,sweetcorn,mushrooms,peppers.I also thought the music was far too loud.Apart from that I loved the food

The design of the restaurant is lovely, the staff are nice, the food is nice but not outstanding, I would have preferred the poached pears hot and the biscuit crumb to have more of a taste. The pasta was nice and the sauce flavoursome....£17, is it worth it? I haven't quite decided. I will go back and try something different, to make up my mind.

First time at this beautiful restaurant. Found myself sat with my back to the restaurant in an empty restaurant; very cold as front door left open; food bland and quantity poor; no one offered us drinks and left to leave without greeting. Not the best experience!

Beautiful restaurant to have a Saturday lunch with 3 friends, although expensive for a lunch it was well worth it Food, service and decor all first class. The only thing letting the experience down was that the restaurant was a bit on the cold side, a few degrees warmer and everything would have been perfect.

I ordered oysters, there were three accompanied by too many toppings. The monkfish was overcooked and dry. The bomboloni needed a little more sauce. My husband's carpaccio, however, was delicate and delicious.

The starters we received were lovely. I was quite excited for the main courses based on this. Very disappointed with the mains. My mini chicken was overcooked and the salad had no dressing so was quite tasteless. Carbonara was a little too Al dente and sauce wasn’t great. Pizza was ok and my son enjoyed his grilled prawns. Service was a bit slow at times. Ate half our dinner before we got salt and pepper which we had to ask for twice

So glad to have this restaurant in Glasgow. Everything was beautiful. My only criticism is there were hints of coconut in my seafood pasta and the desert menu could have had a better choice of ice cream. Other than that it was outstanding and won’t stop me from returning.

The food was average, service was not great considering how many staff were walking about. We received our starters before our drinks, then the wrong starter and had to keep asking staff if we wanted anything. Its a lovely location but sadly let down.

Gorgeous place, service very good.A whole book of Wines which was first but chose carefully as they can be very very pricey! Our food was lovely and pizzas very thin. A birthday treat for my daughter.Am sure we will be back.

Great day out with friends on a dreich Saturday in Glasgow. Loved this place so much, we stayed from lunch through evening into night. 2pm-10pm. Nice and busy - and we noticed Limmy was in having lunch too. Attentive, friendly staff without being intrusive. Aware of little things without you knowing they know..... I had pasta, and added some veg which would have been easier with a knife - as one appeared like magic out of nowhere 😊 We had a few bottles of the £36 prosecco , tasty, fresh and perfectly poured. Espresso martinis, amaretto sours, straight up Disaronno all reasonably priced for the quality we received. Food, I'll be basic rather than menu title. Quantity of food served, more than adequate! Quality of food served - excellent 👌. Starters - prawns, zucchini fries, focaccia (bread recommended to soak up the delicious sauce from the prawn dish). Mains - carbonara (beautiful fresh pasta), parmigiana, risotto, salmon (not your average Tesco sized fillet here, this was a Chunk!), sides of veg, and spinach (I'd have eaten 4 bowls of this on its own - so tasty). Finished meal, and headed upstairs to continue our day out. Lovely bar area, table service, good music. Definitely recommend and will definitely be back. Spend total per head including all drinks £98.

So it was my son’s 21st & booked table for 5.When l arrived only 3 of my party was there it was busy at main entrance & was aware manager was quite stressed .When the other 2 arrived they said they weren’t allowed in had to wait ,even though the staff knew we had more people coming,my son found the staff to be quite rude when l asked who it was? yes… it was the manager.This was my son’s 21st chosen place to have something to eat the attention to detail failed miserably.The food wasn’t great my son’s pizza was burnt, my husband & l had to send food back to be heated as the sides arrived before the main,the staff were like fly’s that wouldn’t go away ,clearing the table every two seconds,need l go on… Obviously won’t be back overall the manager & staff need to relax and concentrate on being good at there job the staff looked stressed and we pick up on every bit of it.Quite disappointing as we spent £270 FOR WHAT…
