    I would like to inform you of the very disappointing experience we encountered this evening at your restaurant. We have visited before and we have used the one in Leeds quite a bit and also enjoyed the food etc. Tonight we felt the service was well below standard. I had booked for 530pm months ago as we were going to a concert and arrived at 525pm. I was told by a lady to wait in the bar and they would come and find me. We waited until 535pm and my husband went back and eventually we were taken to a table. We ordered drinks and was given a menu. We had already decided what we wanted as we have visited before. The drinks arrived promptly and we noticed our session was very busy. The waitress then came to take our order. First, second and third choices had been sold out which were the fish and chips, burger and the lamb. We had to settle for the ribeye which we had last night when we went for another meal. The starters took ages to come out and we kept having to ask, three times in believe but the drinks were forthcoming. We told the waitress and then a waiter we needed to be honest by 7pm as we had allowed for the 1hr and 30 mins as per your booking info. At 18.49 they said it would be a couple of minutes. In the end we said we would pay the bill for what we had already had and went. I found the service to be really disappointing and we were underwhelmed. This meant we were left without food. We paid the bill of £40.85 and left.

    With a Take that concert on in town this was going to be a busy place, but we got there early at 4:30pm and it started well. As soon as 5pm came, it got busier and service fell apart. Steak was sent back as they served it almost raw rather than medium rare. That meant one of us finished their meal whilst waiting for the other to have theirs recooked. There was no apology, we had to chase them for cutlery and to provide fresh chips etc. Tables around us were complaining to. We didn’t pay for service, and wouldn’t go back.

    There were insufficient staff to deal with no of diners. Bar staff looked very unhappy and were not good at seeing who was waiting longest. Waiting staff seems to have bizarre demarcation of tasks which created confusion and delays as they didn’t really want to do tasks that were not theirs. Young staff so may be lack of experience issue.

    Really lovely afternoon on the indoor terrace. Staff fantastic. Didn’t rush us and speed of food and between courses was ideal. Super helpful with accessibility as had a wheel chair and gluten free options. Brilliant

    Bank is always consistent with food, great quality steak and cocktails.the music in bar was too loud last night. it was deafening and no-one near dj area. Our waited was very slow and maybe he was new but overall still one of my faves.

    Food was delicious and initial service was great, but after the main course we were just abandoned. Particularly frustrating as they have so many staff, but everyone has their role, and seeing customers in need and stepping in is not one of them. Tables where cleared, cleaned relaid around us. Food brought out to other tables, staff everywhere. But no one taking the initiative to serve a table that wasn't being looked after. It took 2 hours to serve us 2 courses and 2 drinks!
