the staff and atmosphere is lovely but the food is really exceptional ! the menu isn’t overwhelmingly extensive and every dish is bursting with fresh, tasty and authentic flavours.
highly recommend the house made szechuan chilli oli if you want to give your meal an extra kick.
easily one of my favourite restaurants in london
Food disappointingly average, not much better than an average takeaway (although without the oiliness and saltiness as this was a sit-down restaurant). The vegetarian dumplings were a disappointment, my favourite was the decent “fish fragrant” aubergine. The service was smooth and food came incredibly fast. The place did have some nice seats upstairs, but unfortunately we were sat in the basement.
Must try: wonton in chilli oil with prawns
This is a very good restaurant for dumplings. I personally come here for this and dim sum (when they used to have them) and they are simply delicious.
I would also recommend their cold sake.
Dan Dan noodles are wow
I absolutely love this place. The food is unbeatable!!
Food was tasty, menu isn’t as large as you might expect - it’s a dumpling place so less other dishes. Dumplings are very good, no fried ones though. salt & pepper squid really good.
They did not make us scan track and trace. Which was not good considering we are in a time where COVID-19 rates are rising in London
Excellent food and great service. One of my go to restaurants in Soho
Very cold atmosphere at 12pm and no lighting system that made the experience a bit dull for a birthday
Good food but the service was very poor.
We arrived (admittedly 5 mins late) to our 8:30pm booking to find they had already given our table away. We had to wait 10/15 mins for another.
With current restrictions, I understand the need to be efficient with ordering to get everyone out by 10pm, but the staff were very rude, forcing us to order before barely sitting down, and appearing to make us pay the bill before half our food had turned up. Only then did we realise that a number of things we’d ordered were not actually being made, and they then refused to make them due to time restrictions.
The food that did arrive was good but the overall experience was not.
Ended up getting some salt n pepper chips from the Chinese in Clapham South...highlight of the night.
Really nice foods and great prices! We where downstairs where the space is not as pretty as upstairs.
We will come back for sure!
sooooo good - had colourful bun's and dumplings and skewers it was beautiful
The food is very good. The service is friendly and helpful. I was pleased overall
Fantastic food, terrific service. Will definitely go back.
The food - it is simply TASTY! Salty (in a good way!) and delicious! Makes you want to keep eating - and we ate it ALL!!!
Very nice food
Great food! Would definitely come back. Just excellent comfort food.
As brilliant as always, this time for a very enjoyable solo lunch - the staff are wonderful at making people dining alone feel truly welcome and comfortable.
Veggie dan dan noodles were great but everything else was a bit bland. very expensive for what we had.
Without doubt, the food is nice, very flavoursome. But the price for a small portion of noodles set in a big bowl just for photogenic purposes, small dumplings and buns are way excessive. This is a restaurant clearly catered for western tastes in regards to decor and the use of colourful flour mixture to attract Instagramers and food vloggers. For buns and dumplings, just go to any other established restaurants in Chinatown for half the price or more. You might not get the decor and prettiness for your cameras to devour. But you'll still get the flavours with cash left over for a couple of bubble teas and beers afterwards.
Delicious dim sum with good COVID precautions
Great food as always! Managed the Covid situation very well
Yummy food! Limited wine choices, good for get together! 😇
Some of the food was lovely but some was very average. It also seemed expensive.
Good food with awesome Dimsum collections!
Very tasty food and great service - prices are a little too high in my opinion (sweet and sour chicken shouldn’t be £17) but overall pretty happy with the meal
First but definitely not last time I have visited this place. We had very peaceful Sunday lunch, not felt rushed and we thoroughly enjoyed it 🌸
Serves one of the best dimsums in town. Pleasant staff and quick service.
Wasn’t bad, but really want good either. Value for money was extremely poor, food was okay - but only okay.
Very tasty food. Efficient and friendly service. Overall good value with £10 per head discount being applied Tues/Wed/Thurs during September.
Had mixed meat skewer platter (chicken, pork, lamb, beef) with Dan Dan noodles and special fried rice.
Delicious food, great service and very reasonably priced. Will be returning again and again!
Tasty and colourful food
Great helpful kind staff! Lovely food and kept it clean and tidy!
Very nice food would go there again
Service was superb, food was great. Very tasty.
And price was awesome to be fair.
Thank you guys keep up the great job.
Catching up with friends over dinner. Good to get a couple of dishes and share. Cocktails are very delicious as well
Very poor value for money. The portions are small for the price especially as the quality is pretty average. They offer very average and forgettable food at upmarket prices.
It was good overall but why was the dandan noodle soooooo salty. I drank like a fish that evening.
Very yummy food. Cute small restaurant so nice atmosphere. Food came quickly.
