Noodles with minced pork, sesame sauce, chilli oil and Sichuan peppercorns
Chicken dumplings served with chicken, spring onion and ginger
Brilliant food and amazing service. Great meal before a show. Only downside was a small room with loud diner beside us that was made worse by the hard walls and small space. Dan dan noodles were some the best we have ever had.
Nice dumplings, well made and good flavour. The fried squid was an incredibly small portion, and overall every dish not great value for money. Similar restaurants nearby with food just as good/better for less.
Service could be better and kinder.
Would be good for a date, not if you're hungry :)
Cute little restaurant in the westend, delicious traditional food to share, mid priced. Highly recommend!
Friendly service and excellent food. Would recommend to anyone.
Food, service fantastic (thank you). Setting a little tired. Expensive but on balance probably worth it. Great staff
The most rude staff in london. We left after being ignored for twenty minutes. I’m stunned they have this many restaurants. The table behind us left all their uneaten food and walked out.
Delicious Dim Sum as a prelude to seeing a Sunday matinee.
On such occasions I always make for Baozlin
Excellent food but let down by what appears a very disorganised approach. No tables on arrival at allocated time took approximately 20 minutes to get a table. No mention of how to order via a call system. Starters come amongst the main course. Difficult to order a second round of drinks. Overall just very odd.
We had Asian dim sum platter and Baozilinn platter. Delicious parcels of flavour! Our favourite though was chicken pan fried dumpling which was excellent.
Very busy time on a Saturday and staff were rushed off their feet. Still recommend visiting as overall we weren’t in restaurant longer than normal as food turns up quickly once it’s ready. Just order multiple drinks at a time and service won’t be a problem:)
Food was good but service was poor and the waiters were rude
The good food -doesn't- make up for the rude service we received. Not a place I'll return as it's not pleasant to be bullied out of your table after barely 1h being seated (and the place being half empty, so just unreasonable and unnecessary).
Staff was very short with us. Food amazing though we loved that
Enjoyable, friendly, tasty experience and I would go back.
Fantastic food! Best dim sum ever!
Unfortunately we had to wait for almost 1 hour until our food arrived even though we arrived at 6pm which we thought would be early enough, i.e. before the main rush. Food was good
Really enjoyed our meal. Create choice and we all enjoyed our chosen meals. Would recomend eating here.
Excellent food, marred by a long wait for it and a very indifferent maitre'd. Also, seating in an area that seems to be a waiting room is not great. But the food was very good.
The waiters were not helpful and rude, in a hurry and did not listen to anything properly. The food was fine but a little overpriced.
The quality and selection of food is amazing and you just have to tick boxes in the menu which makes is much easier to order lots of little bits and keep track.
Although we had an incorrect plate delivered it was really nice evening
Second visit, just as good as the original time. Really enjoyed the dimsum and noodles
Overpriced, small portions and rude staff, a is there a worse combination?
Problems began from the start, simple questions about the menu (e.g. if there was egg in the noodles) resulted in long and confusing answers, to having disclaimers to sign thrust at me.
My friend asked for a side of chilli oil for dipping, we were told no, why? It's on the menu to go with the same type of dumpling we ordered, not sure what the issue was?
The food was okay, but not for the price or the portion size.
The final nail in the coffin was being shouted at for simply asking for a clarification regarding the transaction when paying.
Safe to say we will never be back.
Very nice little restaurant, the staff is very nice too.
Dumplings were amazing.
We just had a big table next to us with loud people that was a bit annoying, but otherwise we had a great experience.
Delicious food, must try
Booked this for dinner after the theatre and for my guests to experience something different. Food was amazing, lovely atmosphere, and attentive service. Thank you, will book again
Table was not ready when we arrived, had to wait 15 mins to be seated.
Food was fairly good for the price but nothing great.
As usual food was outstanding. Cheng du dumplings excellent. Trad. Dumplings excellent. Everything on menu is excellent.
Very overpriced and food was nothing special. Service also very slow. Would not recommend!
Greatly enjoyed BaoziInn, as always. Staff seemed a little thinly-stretched and harassed, but this unfortunately is true of a lot of London restaurants at the moment!
Not quite sure how this place was in Time Out Top dim sum restaurants? No pots of tea only mugs!! Average dim sum and not cheap. Squid a bit chewy. All in all pretty disappointing.
Lovely food, efficient and courteous service, the wine list could offer a bit more variety but all in all we had a great time and will definitely go back.
The food is amazing, you must try the Dan Dan Noodles, and Bao Buns. However, the service was not the best. The server seemed in a hurry and wanted us to finish and leave as such as possible.
Quite simply the next dim sum dumplings I've ever eaten. Bao buns were also completely delicious, as were the main courses and sides. The prawns were juicy, the sauces full of flavour, the noodles light and non-greasy, the rice also very good. Service was friendly, helpful but unobtrusive. I would highly recommend to anyone.
Unimaginative dishes, particularly the rice and broccoli. Very sad. And not cheap either !
Food was very nice but waited a long time for it to arrive
Dumplings were good, but service wasn't amazing and there was zero atmosphere where we were
I had booked to eat here to celebrate my sons 21st Birthday, whichi had told them when I made the booking, but there wasn't any to show that they went over and above to celebrate this, so don't go if its for a special occasion.
Also they don't offer drinks in a pint, so very expensive for a half pint of beer on draught, but then we don't live in London so appreciate how much more everything costs, but not sure why it should, unless for the unsuspecting tourists to rip off.
The noodles and dumpling dishes are nice. The tofu and squid are not the best quality. Tofu was not silky and the squid is from frozen. Overall pricey!
Very friendly and extremely efficient service. Great choice of food which was fresh and very tasty. Intimate feeling yet with a great street view. Will be returning with an empty stomach to explore the menu further
