An overdue birthday lunch was made special by the dim sum heaven at BaozInn. Every single dimsum and bun is a must try.

Delicious authentic Chinese food in a great setting. Maybe a little pricey for the food serving sizes.

All the good reviews I read, were spot on. This was a birthday lunch & was an excellent choice. Food, staff, service, was brilliant. Will definitely return with other friends.

Booked a week in advance, got to the restaurant and was sat downstairs in a pokey basement with a very loud party. No scenery, no ambience, food was tasty but not a lot of choice.
Service was slow and long winded.

Wouldnt be going back in a rush.

Everything was fine but we expected more. Design and music are modern European and thus atmosphere is not authentic. It was Chinese New Year days but no sign about that in the restaurant: not special menu, music or decoration. Dim Sums were just fine. The ones which supposed to have broth inside were quite dry and expensive at the same time. So in general the experience was a bit disappointing.

Very small tables, not a great ambience. Food OK- nothing remarkable. I suppose I'd expected something more as it was 'CHINATOWN' but it was pretty run of the mill, to be honest.

Very pleasantly surprised by the style of the food offered in this branch of BaoziInn. We have ordered mostly Dim Sum with a few main dishes for a small family gathering. All dishes turned out to be very well prepared and tasty. They use nature vegetable colour to style the dumplings, beetroot for red, spinach for green so on, which are quite clever. The new style pork belly baked with bamboo leaves were also a hit, the flavour is intense but not overpowering. All is all, we loved the experience.

Recommend the dan dan noodles, the fried prawn balls, and the jasmine tea. Food arrived quickly but service was a bit bored/looked like they were not paying attention. Went there with a group of 6 so price was okay (25£ and we had a lot of different food from the menu). overall nice experience so would recommend.

All I really need to say is that I've now lost count of the number of times I've eaten at BaoziInn and it never, ever disappoints. As this was a business lunch I requested, and was given, a quiet corner table, and service was perfect for the occasion - prompt and unobtrusive. The food, as always, was outstanding; as usual I ordered several dim sum dishes and dan dan noodles, as well as ma po tofu which I've not ordered here before and which was superb.

Obviously, I will be back!

This was my first trip to BaoziInn and it definitely won't be my last. I will visit every time I am in London! Probably the best bao I've had anywhere, not just in London, and the menu is very large and accommodating to many palates (vegetarians included!) I had the vegetarian dan dan noodles, the Northern veggie bao and the crispy rice snack. Everything was delicious, filling, and most impressively - not overpriced for the area! I look forward to returning in future and trying more things on the menu. I would definitely recommend a reservation at dinnertime though as the place is extremely small.

A block or two outside the main Chinatown restaurants, this serves a better class of dim sum (as well as main meals which we didn't try) than the hordes of lower price Chinese eateries, but still keeps prices down. Slightly more original ingredients in the wrappers: beetroot, turmeric, spinach. Some good spicy Szechuan choices as well as a range of soups etc. Friendly, quick service. We booked for a 12.30 Sunday lunch, the whole experience very enjoyable. Most dim sum dishes around £4.50 to £6.

I literally have nothing negative to say about this place. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our food was delicious and arrived on time and the portions are decently sized and priced.
We had a great mid week date night here. I would definitely be booking again.

We arrived a little early on a freezing cold day and although the doors were open we weren’t allowed in until 12. We were then informed that there was no dim sum which we had specifically come to try and that there would be a 45 minute wait. He then came back and said he made a mistake and it was ready. Not impressed with the service at all.

Really lovely little restaurant, with different small areas which gives it the feel of quite an intimate and chilled setting which is quite unique for soho. Food was absolutely delicious, so good that we went twice on some of the Dim Sum (chive & prawn, beetroot and prawn and the classic wonton's). Veggie noodles were also delicious. If you are a fan of dim sum I would definitely recommend a trip here.

Very tight spaces, food and services was average. Serving are small for the price. There was one dish which did not come out with the rest of the food, but when asked was told that it would come ... but never did. But when pressed again right at the end of the meal, only to be told that it had ran out :-(

First and last for us I am afraid.
