Tasty Sichuanese dumplings and noodles, close to London Bridge, great place to meet friends and share good food
Portions are very small
Best Chinese food I’ve had in a long time. Good veggie options
As always, the food is outstanding. BaoziInn is a regular favourite.
We sat outside which was a great option on a warm day, although the road is slightly noisy. The food is fantastic, certainly some of the best Chinese food I’ve had in London. However, the beer options are small and quite overpriced in my opinion, which left a bit of a sour taste.
My table seemed to have different people assigned to it which made consistency difficult. In total I have 4 different staff serve us which meant the bill was wrong, and so was our order.
The food was average. The rice and noodles were good but the rest was frankly overpriced. And not so tasty. I would eat here if out with a group but it's not my first choice
The food is of extremely high quality and delicious.
Plates are quite small - you should order a few plates. The menu could be better explained by wait staff so we can make the most value from the meal.
We ordered wontons but got dumplings instead.
We felt like we were being rushed through the service by staff rather than enjoying the experience.
Outside seating is under a train bridge so quite noisy
Great evening, nice atmosphere, food always amazing.
Service was not too great as we had to keep calling out and wait to be served. Food is slightly overpriced.
Taste and food quality is superb.
Loved BaoziInn London Bridge! My niece lived in Shanghai for a year and wanted some authentic Chinese food, which we got. I ADORE bao buns – very white, close-textured dumplings with a savoury filling – they were excellent here! The broccoli and cauliflower with ginger was lovely, but the prawn noodles had only about four prawns!! A few more would have been good. Overall, though, a great lunch, good service and nice atmosphere, although there weren't many people lunching in, but that was OK as we wanted to talk properly.
Good food / bad service
Great food! Good service, really good place to go if you’re dying for some dumplings
Amazing authentic and fresh Chinese cuisine with excellent service. A little expensive (especially the wine) but overall a great experience and would definitely recommend for a casual dining experience in a great spot right round the corner from London Bridge station.
It was busy - as expected on a Saturday evening..it was loud with others socialising . Felt too close to other tables .First visit - very impressed with the taste of the food . Prawn rice excellent + Won Tons (but thought they would be crispy - but like filled tortellini. Not as much choice as I thought and I thought expensive for the skewers.
Food was great but service was a bit poor in my opinion considering there was barely anyone in there. Quite a bit of confusion around allergies and then had to ask twice for water
Food and service was great, obv because we had to eat outside there was a lot of noise from trains and British weather! That did not distract from experience and outside restaurants control, really enjoyed my visit, definitely come back again.
Food was delicious...maybe ease up on the chilli seasoning to the scallop skewers as you can’t taste the scallops but food was great all round. The weather, not so much. I’ll definitely be back to dine indoors.
Been here few times, as always the food was good. Great service too, & oh be ready to splurge as it’s so worth it.
I didn't like the Dan Dan noodles but the rest was fine
Great food as always! Covid friendly setup outdoors, the staff rushed out to put up shelters when it started to rain.
Unfortunately we dined on an evening with horrific weather. Theres not a lot that could have been done but its a shame that there were no patio heaters and the covering wasn't substantial
Covid restrictions make everything more difficult. The cold wind and noise from the railway bridge can't be helped, but are a reality of eating outside here.
The service was relatively unreliable (forgotten orders) but food was served quickly.
I'm unconvinced the portions were in-line with the price of food, but the quality was good.
Perhaps under 'normal' circumstances the whole experience would be better.
It s probably the only Chinese restaurant in London that ran out of green tea.
We asked for 2 they told us we ran out and then 1h later few Chinese people around had some. Probably they wanted us to take some alcool.
Price minimun 15£/ head would be good to know before to book
Food is very pricey and mini portion
Like tapas ...such a rip off
Ok its still lockdown but you can eat outside, the staff have done a good job of sectioning off some of the front of the street to hoste guests, the food is good as ever and staff attentive and friendly. It's nice to see they have maintained a no smoking policy despite being seated outside. Food is still hot when served but a little slower than when dining inside. Over all under the circumstances still a good place to eat!
If I had to say an improvement would be heaters as it blows hard down the street.
Food took a long time to come. Waiter wasnt that friendly and we thought it was overpriced.
As it was so cold outside the food became cold straight away. I found it expensive for what it was. Wine expensive also and poor quality.
No blankets or heaters. Understand that they want to recoup all that was lost during pandemic but I did feel that they overcharged and under delivered. No wonder that it was the only place left I could book around London Bridge
The food was good but, the sound was really loud as it was outside and under the train. The food was overpriced and the dumplings were amazing but the rest was just ok.
Love this place! Food and service is excellent
Good food. Wait was not too much and they brought everything out at the same time. We ordered around 8 dishes for just over £100 which is decent
Booked for my sister's birthday treat. Easily done and all checked in quickly at the door.
Service came quickly and politely.
N.B. we are both pescetarians.
Heads up the prawn dumplings are basically the same but different shapes. It does make a small difference to the texture of the dumplings (wontons were slightly firmer, so not as satisfying as its sister dumpling) but otherwise they are the same. All fine with us though as they were both delicious. But knowing that now, we probs would have got one with soup instead.
The chilli oil they use for the dumplings is very very mild and has an absolutely delicious sweet flavour to it. Could drink the stuff.
Crispy squid was enjoyable. Good seasoning and incredible crunch to the batter. Just a good and classic starter.
Fried seabass was also good. Was expecting a whole panfried seabass, esp for the price. But came with 5/6 medium sized battered fillets instead. Still tasty and again, very good crunch to the batter, even after sitting in the sauce for a while. The sauce itself was a bit spicier and had a good numbing kick to it. Slightly on the saltier/over seasoned side but still edible. Strong savoury szechuan flavor. Not sweet at all.
Very good ha gau with generous filling and flakey/crumbly dumpling wrapper. Only 3 in a portion though. Good value for money compared to the prices of the other dishes.
Yummy yummy seafood rice. Good amounts of varying seafood. Fluffy egg. Fresh vegetables. Nice wok hei. Perfectly seasoned.
Chilli sauce compliments it well. Small portion for the price but I guess it means we get more belly space for other foods.
Spent £85 overall with 2 tsingtaos. I do consider that expensive, especially for some of the portion sizes. But, that being said, prices are openly displayed on websites and so I knew that when I booked, and it was a birthday treat after all.
Service could have been faster, when we arrived we were 1 of 2 tables and it took a while to get food and drinks ordered.
Pretty nice food, we ordered the dumplings which were very nice. And I am fussy about my dumplings.. however, the dim sum menu was a much slimed down version but with the current Covid crisis, sitting at a restaurant, outdoors is already something to be thankful for...
Absolutely did the job. Very efficient service. Good quality food. Decent cocktails. Nice location near Borough Market.
Food was nice and reasonably priced. There's a very pleasingly sized menu with plenty of different options for almost anyone you'd choose to bring along.
Service was a bit mixed, it seems we were forgotten about on our table several times and overlooked, leading to quite big delays in getting served.
Being directly under a trainline it can get very loud on occasion, which isn't ideal ambiance, but as it's only outdoor seating allowed currently this is to be expected.
The food was lovely, and I wouldn't be adverse to going back to Baozilnn, but I'd also struggle to enthusiastically recommend it due to the service.
Wonderful evening. The food was amazing and the table small but comfortable.
Service was not great, waited quite a while for drink amd for food, had to ask a few times before getting our drinks. A few times we were also brought over the wrong food.
Food was incredible but the service was lacking! Waited 20 mins for a beer and filled out the menu with a pen like a takeaway.
Some of the best Chinese food in London but at a cost, would recommend ordering for delivery
Really good food, we order dumpling, duck and chicken with fruit are amazing nice portions good service cozy place.
Good food and service especially in COVID times. Great dumplings.
Great food - a tad pricey though.
