Bacan opened with the purpose of bringing authentic Argentine and Venezuelan cuisine to Toronto. As a family run restaurant— we want each and every guest to feel welcome in our “home”. For this reason, we provide exemplary service and ensure each item on our menu reflects our commitment to culinary excellence.

Our restaurant is a quiet place to connect and create ever-lasting memories while savouring the depth of flavours in our carefully curated menu.

Our menu is designed to bring out authentic Argentinian and Venezuelan flavours with local ingredients.

Everything is made from scratch because we expect nothing less when it comes to family. We offer gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options. We also stand by our commitment to using absolutely no preservatives or artificial flavours!

My boyfriend and I adore this restaurant. It is one of our favourite date night spots. Amazing food, good wine and very good prices. Truly a hidden gem.

Lovely, generous breakfast (only quibble was that the eggs were a little over done). Love the wasacaca sauce! And the cheesy rice. They did forget our plantain, but were so kind and gave us each an order of plantain to go. Highly recommend.

Some restaurants make you feel welcome the moment you walk through the door, and Bacan is one of them. The warm hospitality, relaxed atmosphere, and genuine kindness set the tone for a wonderful meal. The food is absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients, bold flavours, and dishes that are clearly made with care. You can tell there’s a real passion behind everything that comes out of the kitchen. If you’re looking for authentic, homemade food and a place that feels as inviting as it is delicious, Bacan is well worth the visit. Highly recommend.

First time, but had a lot of choice for one if us that has a wheat gluten allergy. Had the summerlicious menu, one of the entres was the most popular Venezuelan items. They have a gluten free dedicated fryer, so was glad yo try the Yuca fries for very first time. Overall three diners had a lovely lunch

My girlfriend and I had an amazing time! The staff were super friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious, and it had a perfect balance of lively but intimate. Great date location or hangout with friends. Highly recommend!!!

Delicious food and exceptional service. We did Winterlicious lunch here. Everything was fresh. The patacones and yuca fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned. The arepas were decadent and filled generously. I would highly recommend.

I tried their Winterlicious lunch menu. The Venezuelan/Argentinian fusion comes through in the best possible way. Small place, awesome service, great taste and value. Yuca fries are the best! the Cuban coffee really hits the spot.
