Bar Broadway

This is a fun bar even during restrictions. Be aware it does not serve food. We originally booked for a meal then disco ered it does not do food. However music excellent service fantastic. Would return

Didn't try food but good drinks and loved the pub quiz even though we arrived late and missed it ! Wish they were still doing karaoke though ☹

Can’t comment on food as only visited for a drink. (Not sure they offer food!) It was a fun bar & the interaction with the manager & bar staff was great & they are trying their best under challenging circumstances. However the tight rules around Covid are reducing the chance of any atmosphere in a bar that I imagine is usually quite fun & lively.

I've been out to a few bars since the lockdown restrictions were lifted and this bar is adhering to the guidelines better than any of the others. Everyone is spaced correctly, not too many people in and table service was in place. Music wasn't loud and it was a nice chilled evening not having to worry about the actions of others which has been an issue in some other venues.

Great experience at one of our favourite bars. Handled the whole thing exceptionally well and kept everyone safe and looked after.

Our only complaint was our two hours were up too quickly! Looking forward to the next time.

Fantastic bar, great to see all the social distancing measures were in place music at a low level so no need to shout. Staff very courteous and if you did make a mistake they were very polite in reminding you the rules. Hand sanitizer available and the cleanest bar I’ve been to. Highly recommended

Given the restaints that all venues are under, in terms of operating whilst ‘heath measures’ are in place to ensure the safety of staff and customers, Bar Broadway’s service was nothing short of exceptional.

The ‘non-app app’ works incredibly well for ordering drinks and booking a spot in the queue for the toilet. Barely any time would pass between an order being completed before it would arrive (and we were a table of five, so these were fairly large and varied orders).

The staff were taking the necessary health measures seriously, which added to sense of safety and security, but not jettisoning any of the customary charm and good nature that was always the norm at Broadway.

I would recommend booking a table through the app too, in order to secure a spot, but it also helps venues work out exactly the numbers they are accommodating, and how best to do so to keep in line with relevant regulations.

Please note: there was no food served, but this site does not allow the stars to be taken off completely.

If you are looking for a place to settle yourself and enjoy a drink with excellent service, you could do little better than Bar Broadway at the moment.
