The full menu focuses on tapas backed up a few more substantial offerings. Electrifying flamenco displays bring the place to its feet on Sunday evenings, but there's music and entertainment of some kind most nights.
The sangria flows and everyone has the best of times.
Overall a really great experience - i 100% will be back, it was the perfect spot for a casual weekday catch up with a friend!
The food was fantastic and really reasonably priced. Unfortunately the service was slow and my party about 5 times had to ask to get water, or just to be served! I would still definitely return!
What a hidden gem, I will definitely be back again and I have already recommended this lovely little spot to a few friends, the flamenco was outstanding.
The food was honestly appalling.
I mean £3.50 for a portion, what did i expect? Service was good though, engaging waiter and smiley.
I guess you get what you pay for.
Made for the perfect valentine's Day setting. Sangria was lovely, food was perfect and service was immaculate and attentive. Has been my favourite Spanish place for years, would highly recommend!
Lovely friendly staff, happy hour on cocktails until 7pm, tasty food. Unfortunately, it was a fairly quick visit before going to a comedy show, so we need to go back for a more relaxed meal sometime soon.
Excellent value Groupon deal (paella for two, bread, olives, and wine/sangria for £20). Well worth it. The paella was gorgeous, the service good in view of how busy it was. Lovely inside, nice ambiance. Busy but not loud and so no need to shout. My wife loved her sangria, I was less keen on the red wine. Each dish that came out and past us to the various tables looked smelled delicious. Would definitely recommend
Excelente comida, buen ambiente y la camarera especial!
Needs Vegan food options. If they add that it'll be an amazing place...but until then...
The food and service were friendly and great would definitely go again
Good range of tapas served promptly. Easy distance from Camden Town and the Jazz Cafe.
Fantastic relaxed dining experience. I would revisit and recommend.
I’ve been a couple of times and once again we had some very good tapas served by attentive staff. They were very busy and as it took a while for our dishes to arrive we were offered complimentary coffees. Quality of food for the price was excellent. Will definitely go again.
I don't know if Bar Ganda has become so dependent on tourists that the food doesn't matter but it felt that way.
The service was decent, the restaurant itself looked friendly but the food was probably the most mediocre Spanish meal I have had in London. Bland bland bland!
It's a shame cause I visited 5 years ago and was looking forward to coming back. Quite a let down
I had an amazing night in a Sunday, went to see Flamenco with my friends. The show was excellent, the food a little less. Still okay, but the sangria was kind disappointing (I lived in Spain and I know how it should taste like). Anyway, I would still come back!
Went with a friend during happy hour and got half price food and happy hour drinks. Very good value. Food was tasty, cocktails were good and staff were friendly. Would definitely recommend it.
£3.50 tapas sounds like a good deal but portion size was minute - three small dry bits of chicken, a few tasteless bits of calamari - more aioli and lettuce on the plate, three small dry ribs on a hard undercooked potato stew. Restaurant was empty but took 25 mins for any food to arrive. Just poor in every sense of the word and shoddy service.
Music was too loud at around dinner time - could have been a bit quieter so we could hear each other better and be less distracted by it - and then turned up at for 9ish
The venue is has a nice Spanish feel, intimate, so best for lunch or 2 person dining and not 3+ as there is overspill with the adjoining tables.
Food was ok - not bad, but not amazing. The chicken in one of our dishes was slightly pink, which was a worry, they took it off the bill. But we we nervous about it for the rest of the night.
Loved it. Delicious food and sangria, and now trying to copy the aubergine dish. So delicious.
Lovely restaurant in a good position. Lovely reasonably priced food. Experience was spoiled by initially being turned away as wowcher voucher was not valid at weekends. As this detail was not mentioned either when booking the table or the voucher, they honoured the voucher and could not have been nicer.
The food and service were perfect. The staff were very helpful with helping me to select food to fit my vegan diet.
Nice cosy little Spanish restaurant. Great food! We had a voucher so it was amazing value (I imagine it would still be relatively good value for the area even without a voucher). It was pretty quiet as it was a Sunday afternoon.
The food just wasn’t v good. It was ok, given the reviews we expected more I guess. The same sauce was used on 3 different dishes. Not good enough. Boring. Staff v sweet and efficient
Easily accessible from Camden tube ,a fun tapas restaurant offering main plates as well. Reasonable pric es for standard tapas. He plus for me is the re gulag flamenco.
Tasty good. Ok service. Music too loud so moved tables. Waited long time on entrance and was ignored but service good after that.
Brilliant ambience with quality food (if you love great tasting food This is a great spot). Great service, staff are attentive ,clientele and on the weekend you will find the Spanish guitarists style of play to add to this gem of escapism.
I discovered bar ganza by chance and have returned 5 times now. Many a great memories have been formed since...
I was in Gans Bar a few days ago, I organized an engagement there. Service very nice, helpful and takes care of the client. I 100% recommend this restaurant. It's worth taking a look there.
first time here, food was nice, live music on fridays! will return
Very nice experience though the reason why I chose Bar Ganza for our party of 9 was the flamenco dance. It was cancelled so the whole idea of our evening was kind of a torso. That was very disappointing, we came all the way from Finland. But maybe next time.
Fab food, great service in a lovely little restaurant!
Great traditional Spanish food unlike most chain tapas bars. Lovely service. Have preferred evening visits compared to lunch as a better vibe
Really nice atmosphere, great service and food. Would definitely recommend!
Excellent restaurant. Really good food, we had eight different tapas dishes and enjoyed everything. Really nice, friendly service and very nice atmosphere.
Fantastic food and a great price, we enjoyed our meal and will be back.
Great for happy hour and cocktails, but nice little tapas bar. Would recommend if in the area.
we went for our wedding anniversary. We love Flaminco and Spanish food. It was great and would go again.
Came here for a preconcert dinner, Jazz Cafe is just around the corner.
We tried tapas menu:
With 2 glasses of red Pleno.
Muscles were served in a creamy sauce with leek. It might've been a good choice for bread lovers to dip into the sauce. Boquerones were as expected. Calamares slightly slim, but ok. Aubergines were served with honey, which didn't go with any of the other tapas dishes we have chosen. I found honey a very strange sauce accompaniment. This was 2for one offer on the tapas. I wish we tried a regular menu. As all the previous menu suggests delicious offerings. Our experience was very disappointing, unfortunately.
Service and stuff were very friendly and fast, can't fault it.
Food was really tasty, service was pretty fast & attentive but gave you chance to chat/breathe, venue was quite cosy, so much choice on the menu, clientelle were quite continental so you know the food is authentic & the overall meal was fairly good value (it helped that the waitress alerted us to the happy hour menu) - came on a date & would likely visit again
Delicious food, greatake staff, very good wine, our local place now!
Outstanding food, we're both fussy foodies and this place amazed both of us. The meatballs, tomato bread and paella are all delicious! Best paella I've ever eaten by a long way. Can't recommend this place enough. Service is great too. It's a must try!
