The food was very tasty and well presented. The waiter recommended a wine to go with a meal and it complimented the food extremely well. Would love to return to try some desserts, as I was too stuffed after a starter and main course to try any.

We had a Really Lovely Experience at Bar Italia. We were well looked after. We arrived half an hour earlier than our booked time but it wasn’t a problem at all. They found us a table and we got a bottle or wine and sat chatting until they came and took our order. If we EVER come to Dublin again we would Definitely go back to Bar Italia. Loved it.

Wonderful evening. Dinner for two served by Diego - our Italian Irish Waiter. He helped us with our choices and did not hesitate to ask for help from others on the wine choice and when we had a problem with one of the Mains. David, the Manager, was immediately on hand to solve the problem and ensure our evening proceeded smoothly. It's a tightly run business, everyone worked well together and we had a great evening. We will be back.

This was a great restaurant! The owner, David and manager, Marco work along with their team to make sure you get everything like you want it. They brought cooks with them from Rome. The pizza is excellent! The carbonara is a must! Great Italian wine list. We highly recommend Bar Italia for a great dining experience.

The place looks good ... the menu seems authentic ... and the wine list is extensive. But we waited more than half an hour for our starters ... which were such large portions that we were full by the time we were done. The mains were disappointing. I had the seafood pasta. The seafood did not seem fresh. The sauce was flat and flavourless. The pasta was OK, but not good enough to overcome the other failings. We were left waiting at our table for a very long time for everything. The waiter seemed to understand we had been neglected and gave use complementary grappa at the end of the meal ... I would have preferred to have just been waited on properly and to have had better food. I don't know if I'll ever be in Dublin again. If I am, I won't be going to Bar Italia.

staff were EXCELLENT. I didn’t get any names but the blonde irish guy with the braces was so kind. i brought a cake without warning them and they were so accommodating and brought it out with candles and sang happy birthday to my friend! food was also unbelievable, so flavourful and great portions.

Celebrated my 60th Birthday with 4 friends Everything was perfect. The foid was excellent, service was excellent. The staff were very friendly, pleasant and attentive They made a fuss if me. Only neg. - wine seemed very expensive althougjh the bottle of Merlo that we chose was lovely.

We had booked a table to have their pizzas and after we ordered some drinks when we were about to place our order for pizzas we were told that they don’t have pizzas. It was disappointing since they didn’t mention this to us before we even ordered anything.
