Bar Vendôme - Ritz Paris

Very nice, would recommend !!

I took my Fiancé to celebrate her birthday and our recent engagement. We were visiting from the U.S. I must say this is the most outstanding and exquisite experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The staff are well trained and synchronized to the mark. Our hostess Sara went above and beyond to ensure that we had an amazing experience!
I will be visiting again!
The price is worth it !!

Beautiful venue and fantastic service as you’d expect.

Sadly the food was largely disappointing, particularly given the price. For an €85 fillet steak as a main, I was served a small, thin slice of beef that was overcooked (ordered Medium Rare, arrived as Medium-Well) and came with a small pot of McDonalds style French fries, nothing else. I’ve genuinely tasted and cooked better steaks myself for £10 from the supermarket, so that was shame.

Bottle of red wine was ice cold as it had just come out of the cellar, waiter apologised. Not a major issue but when you’re spending that kind of money in the Ritz it does come with an increased expectation. Wouldn’t recommend with the number of other excellent restaurants in Paris, the cost just wasn’t aligned with the quality of food.

The service and atmosphere were exceptional. The food was good, not exceptional or remarkable. For lunch, there are other locations that provide a more unique and authentic experience while in Paris.

Sunday breakfast at the Ritz. Perfect and very french breakfast in an iconic site. The gaufres and the pancakes were very good and the viennoiseries were good. We will come back again for sure.

Fantastic experience and top class food. Pricey but you get the "Ritz" experience.

Nothing less than you would expect from the Ritz. The food was delicious, the service impeccable. The ambience as one would expect. Not too formal, however, a very pleasurable experience.

For Paris, one of the best service I have had. Large choice in the menu , and great good and wine

This was probably a once in a lifetime experience. I am so thankful that I decided to have lunch here while staying in Paris. Every aspect was absolutely perfect. The staff could not have been kinder or more attentive. I’m a mature woman and I dined alone. I felt completely comfortable. Merci!

Easily the worst experience we had in Paris and sadly it was for our 15-year anniversary. The food was over priced and under flavor, the vibe is stuffy and to top it off the service was downright awful. We waited 30+ minutes for a $200 bottle of wine, 30+ to be asked about coffee or dessert and left underwhelmed in every way. There are a million cafes in this incredible town, all have better food, ambiance & service than Vendome.

Food is over rated. Ambiance was good but music stopped at 10 pm and restaurant became utterly quiet. Service was very good.

Absolutely an amazing experience! Not your typical 'afternoon tea' but truly exceptional experience in a Paris historical location. The service was beyond 5 star-white-glove. It is worth the price due to the experience and atmosphere.

From our beautiful seating to our attentive waiters my daughter and I had a gorgeous dining experience. For such a high end restaurant there was never that feeling of stiffness and formality which I find unnecessary. Fine dining with a casual relaxed atmosphere. Merci!

When we are traveling in Paris and try never to miss lunch at the Ritz. Truly a treat in every way. From the moment you enter, we were greeted with kindness and professionalism. On the first day that we dined there, it was raining and we all walked in with a massive amount of raincoats and umbrellas. The hostess was so gracious and greeted us warmly while taking our coats. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we made a reservation and came back the next day. Our waiter, Jean Phillipe, remembered us from the day before and could not of been kinder and more welcoming.

Even though it is a pricey lunch, it is worth every penny to enjoy the atmosphere, food, and excellent service only found at the Ritz.

Great place for dinner.
