The mahi-mahi was perfect!

Our first trip here and they did not let us down. The pork chop was incredible! Service is top notch, everything we tried was very good.

I brought my wife and daughter to Barrett's on the Pike for my wife's birthday. This was our second time to Barrett's and once again everything was perfect. From the appetizers, to the main meals to our dessert, everything was great. Jenna was our waitress and she was perfect. We enjoyed everything. As constructive criticism, we saw online before we visited the bar menu and the appetizers there included a choice that wasn't on the dining room menu. However it was what we wanted so we asked Jenna if that was possible and they said yes! Perhaps include that on the dining room menu since it increased our choices. By the way the appetizer was great! We love the place and give it our highest possible recommendation. We plan on trying the Sunday brunch next as we expect it will also be superb.

Stunning meal! My friend and I ordered half the menu to celebrate. Each appetizer or entree was exquisitely presented with a bouquet of wonderful flavors. We had a great night there.

Great food, great cocktails, great time.

Our server was absolutely phenomenal. Very friendly, and informative. Overall the place gets a 10 thumbs up from me. The food and atmosphere were fabulous!

Started with manhattans. Really great. I had the shrimp and cheddar grits. Most excellent. My wife had the French dip. Also most excellent. Definitely will go back. Often!

The only thing I didn't like was the assumption that I'd want to be seated in the bar section.
But they happily moved us when we asked.
I would recommend this place.

Great food and our server was awesome! I had the chicken club and it was like a party in my mouth.

Overall, it was a good experience at Barrett's on the Pike in Bel Air, MD. Two things were bothersome that could have been avoided. First, they ignored our request, made at the time of our reservation, to be seated in a booth. Instead, they seated us at a table in the middle of the dining room. Secondly, a brownie ice cream sundae that was ordered for dessert came topped with two tablespoons of ice cream. If it's not an ice cream brownie sundae, they should not advertise it as one.

It’s been a couple of years since I have been to Tark’s. We came because of the smoke out door dining. They have renovated the restaurant and menu. The food was delicious and service was great.

Our server was attentive and handled every request with a smile. Thanks for another wonderful visit!

This is my "go to" restaurant for a well prepared meal, lunch, brunch or dinner. Excellent wait staff too.

Cold Wet night but it was a great dinner. Food was great and the service was exceptional. Very cozy inside!

While Bel Air has a host of chain restaurants and many other places that offer your typical pub grub/bar food, Barrett's on the Pike offers a finer dining feel with amazing food at reasonable prices that are comparable to many of the chains in the area. Perfect date night location as you can enjoy your evening without being rushed out the door.

We love Barretts on the Pike. Sometimes hard to get a reservation, but that is a good problem to have! Congrats

All my friends told me to check this out and I went the other night. Wow, they did not lie. This place does not disappoint. Some of the best food I've ever had. I love that it's so close to my house because I plan to go often. I would suggest making reservations because it seemed to be a popular place but I got seated right away because I had a reservation.

The bacon-wrapped scallops are great to start/share. My wife had a scallops entree which she gets every time we go. The mushroom risotto that comes with it is amazing. I had the braised short ribs which were absolutely fabulous. The server was great and the kitchen is fast. We love coming here and will continue to do so!

Everything we ate was amazing. Steak was perfect and the crab corn chowder was excellent. Highly recommend

Valentines dinner was excellent. First the manager kindly switched my reservation for two to three. We were promptly seated and our service just got better. Drinks were the good kind of well made and our dinner was just what we had hoped for. Just a good experience for my party of 3. We will be back. Halibut and crab imperial were delish. Bread pudding ridiculous! Well done!

Wonderful service and food

One of the best meals we have had out in a long time. Willing to pay a little more when the food is excellent.

Our meal was awesome! Service was good. We were disappointed that we were seated in the bar especially since it was valentines day and we had made a reservation.

Great menu selection, quality food, service was excellent

We came to Barrett's on the Pike for the first time around Valentine's Day. There were two couples in our party. We found everything great! From the service, to the food, to the atmosphere, we enjoyed it all. We all had something different to eat and everyone loved it. The desserts were great also! I've already planned a return reservation for my wife's birthday and I'm very much looking forward to it.

Meal was mediocre at best. For the price there are many other options. Tables and booths reminded me of a diner/Bob Evans. Our server was poorly prepared. Did not know what drafts were on the taps. Not a very good experience but we tried something new.

Friendly staff, wonderful service, lovely decor and ambience, and everything was delicious!

30th Birthday Brunch

Barrett’s never disappoints! Food is so yummy! Service is awesome.

The food was amazing. We had a table at the bar which I was not happy about but it was fine. The service was great and we had an amazing dinner - everything was delicious. We would definitely go back there.

Tried for the first time during restaurant week and will definitely be back. Great atmosphere, food and drinks! Simple yet elegant decor.

When we made our reservation, there was a box which allowed you to identify an occasion if applicable. Since it was our 39th anniversary, we clicked "anniversary" . We mentioned it again while being greeted and seated. "Wow, that's a long time" was the response and that was the last thing ever mentioned. We usually try and go someplace different every year on that date. This is the 1st time in memory that the restaurant didn't provide some token of congratulations for the occasion.

The food tasted fine. We shared everything as we usually do. Later in the evening (actually 1:30 AM the next morning) we both awoke at the same time with stomach discomfort and great thirst. We don't think it was a coincidence.

Our waitress was very pleasant and accommodating and we realize these are very unusual times. So we're taking that into consideration. But the bottom line is that opinion is very neutral.
