Always look forward to dining here as I appreciate the good service and freshly cooked meals especially the vegetables. I chose the only vegan option in the Mains (I didn’t want two or more courses on the Christmas menu.) The parsnip meal was delicious except not sufficient as a main meal. I had to add a side order of chips just to make it a proper meal, unfortunately.

We all had a Sunday roast which was the best we have had anywhere. I noted and appreciated that all 4 plates were brought to the table together by 2 members of staff so that we all got our food at the same time however we then had to wait 5 minutes for the veg to arrive at the table. I would suggest that this is brought out with the main plates as our food had started to go cold by the time the veg arrived and the effort to bring out our food together was wasted. Even though the food was excellent I do think the set menu prices are slightly too high. Also be aware that there is only a 2 course or 3 course price so you have to pay for 2 courses even if you only have one. It would be nice to have a one course price for those with a smaller appetite. It was very busy and hence very noisy so it was a struggle to hear ourselves talk to each other. I would suggest going at a quieter time if you have anyone who struggles to hear. The restaurant was decorated with Christmas decorations which were lovely.

Never been before and My Wife wondered where I had taken her as we parked on the untarmaced,puddly car park looking at what she thought was a Farmyard. However when we went into the building she was pleasantly surprised as the Restaurant and Bar area are stunning particularly with the Christmas decorations and mood lighting. Some may say service is slow but As we were out for Sunday lunch it was nice not to feel rushed and cleared before the next sitting. Food was very nice and reasonably priced for the ambiance and setting and the staff were friendly , Helpful and attentive. We have found a new location for special Sunday lunches and will be back again soon

There were a couple of hiccups - a wrong breakfast delivered, smashed avocado rather than diced with the breakfast, which was a bit weird, and an issue with the payment - but we enjoyed the rest of the food in a lovely setting.

A lovely lunch with Grandchildren. We were early lunch time, food did take 30 minutes to arrive. Good quality and quantity, perfect portion size for children. Our second visit and will definitely return again

A nice place for a lunch time catch up with friends. I had the goats cheese and beetroot sandwich, which was very tasty but the huge chucks of beetroot were rock solid. So I had to remove them and eat them separately. My partner and friends had other sandwiches, burgers and the ox cheek. All of which were enjoyed. The staff were pleasant but we didn’t have any real communication with them bar ordering and paying. But it was Saturday lunch time so they were pretty busy. All in all, it was pleasant and I would return to try more of the menu.

We had a lovely meal and night out to celebrate a family event. The food was delicious with great options for vegetarians and coeliac's. We were so well looked after by the staff, who were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Thank you for a fantastic evening.
