Our experienced head chef has now taken centre stage in our new restaurant, which is now open to the public throughout the week. I thought the service was poor,staff disappeared so couldn’t order more drinks and had to approach the bar to find someone to pay my bill!!!

Went here for a Sunday lunch to celebrate an anniversary. The staff were very friendly and helped us when we asked to move to a different table. The food is delicious but unfortunately the chicken that we ordered was lukewarm. I did inform the staff straight away but said I would eat it as I was hungry. They apologised and told the chef. They also gave us some complimentary cauliflower cheese, I assume to make up for the chicken. Overall I would go again as the food was very tasty and the staff were good so I appreciated that.

Slightly slow service despite the restaurant being quiet. My friend and I ordered poached eggs on toast which were slightly over cooked. Asked for another small cup of Americano after the breakfast took ages to come then arrived in a big mug.

The roast was lovely, however we did have some pink bits in our chicken. The waiting staff were very quick and very helpful.
